@@ColieBear18 Matt said somewhere that Molly's over-arching story had a huge stem in the larger over arching story. So it was sad to see him go. Also molly was just a super interesting guy. First of all he was a pc that somehow, got revived and lost most of his memories. The ones he did have lead us to believe that he was a part of some kind of powerful cult, and possibly that he was the center of it, and had followers. Molly's story, imo, was going to be great. He reminded me of Scanlan, being such an odd and kinda shitty person, that probably would of blossomed into something incredible as his past and true nature got revealed.

I am so F'ing jealous.
I was 8 years old. I was to save a small village that was being held hostage by a band of Orcs. First roll was a nat 20 crit to snipe an orc guard. I saved a farmhand early on who asked to help. I think this was an opportunity for me to trust this guy, and he would die and I would feel some loss. However, he made it with me to the bugbear chieftain. In combat I missed most of the time, while the farmer crit twice... I went from total badass, to dead-weight for a farmer... such a good first game.

To be fair (and potentially start a war in the comment section) the word sigil should have a hard G. It comes from the Latin sigillum, and Classical Latin had hard G's, yo. Like GIF.

I prefer the hard G in GIF as well no matter what the creator of the format has said.
It comes from Ecclesiastical Latin, not Classical... which only has hard G's in front of "a" "o" and "u" and "au," the rest are soft G's, as in sigil.

that the word existed prior to the Ecclesiastical Latin Era, and Cicero, who lived during the Classical Latin Era, and was a huge proponent of Classical Latin, would have definitely pronounced it with a hard G, as would everyone else speaking Classical Latin at the time.
Indeed you are correct, I had seen it so prominently in religious texts that I assumed it originated with the church. I much prefer the Classical pronunciation anyway, and Cicero would definitely be the "end-all" source to determine it's origin. Thanks for looking it up.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s kinda like... inappropriate to bring your kids to a CR panel? Like, D&D in general is great and kid friendly, but CR is extremely adult oriented and it’s panels often reflect that.
Extremely adult oriented seems like an exaggeration to me. There are a couple of sex jokes here and there but that's about it. There are mature themes in the CR campaigns so I'm not sure about that aspect, but for the panel itself... would be fine by me. Sex isn't a bad thing in the first place.
Doesnt dnd have races that enslave. rape, and torture people?
D and d is filled child sacrifice, and demons not wearing any clothes. It's more of 12 and up sort of experience.
