I actually made a little note on my phone to put in Cad/Tal quotes in when I was watching campaign 2. This line was on top of my list. Another gut wrenching one was "Do you know what is the most common thing said at funerals? It's always "I thought I had more time" "
"Eventually, some day, somebody will pray for a miracle, pray for something to save them, to whatever gods are nearby, and that prayer will be answered because you’ll show up." That's my favourite, and I don't even believe in gods or praying. It's just such a beautiful and caring thought.

I'm gonna be running my own game in Wildemount for my friends, and one of them is a Sea Elf, so if Matt could develop the lore there, that would help me out IMMENSELY.
@melonmode4128 100%. All but the most idealistic or mercenary of these ocean dwellers see the petty squabbles of the “boat-riders” of the surface world as beneath their notice." @@kyokonightstorm5844 yep. I've got the same book, so that's all I've got to go off (for now at least). Thankfully the majority of my campaign will take place in Wildemount, maybe a bit at sea if they go that way, and maybe to that player's home under the waves, but we'll see.

Having watched the full panel, it’s all so true about what they say RE friendship vs business. They gave each other roles that play to their strengths (Ash as President of CRF, Travis as CEO, Sam as head of Marketing, Laura as head of Merchandising/Visuals, etc). Also, Matt being the DM gave him the natural ability to basically lead their social/morale department. Once he takes the reins at the table, they go back to “eating pita chips and being total slapdicks for a few hours” mode from before the streams. So if Matt says, “no business, only friendship tonight,” they all are able to refocus. That’s also why Metapidgeon and CR are so successful too, because we as Critters don’t see a corporation, we see our friendships embodied through them.
3:52 Sam is technically right here, in a way! People love to say that the Beastmaster sucks, but the thing is, NO ONE wants to see their pet beast die. But it's somewhat the point: Put him in the front row, tank the damage, and when it dies you can literally just get another one! But no one wants to play a Beastmaster like that! Your character's beast is a character of its own!
Beastmaster is designed for two types of players: the roleplayers who want a cute pet but don't ever plan on putting them in combat, and the combat players with no heart 😂
Second comment from me (sorry), but can't believe they didn't bring up "your secret is safe with my indifference", as a Taliesin quote! Also, a few Ashley quotes: "I've killed my family, I'll throw you under the bridge", or "I smell like a crayon". Yasha had a nice bunch of funny one-liners! :p
