Travis: "I'm an idiot, so Grog's an idiot". B.S. Travis has proven that he's very smart, and had to be smart in the way he played Grog as dumb. There's a difference between acting dumb and acting out a dumb reaction or situation at just the right time. "Grog does this dumb thing" but at a point and in a way that to think of that was brilliant.

+Critical Scope thanks for uploading this and all the other videos! did you manage to get the day 2 panel as well and do you think this will be a regular thing ? getting as many of their panels and putting them on this channel ?
+Noodels1992 We do our best to upload as much panels as possible. We rely on critters that are there at that point to send us the footage. Scanlan and Trinkets Rivalry is basically 2 mascots competing for their spot, Trinket only cares about Vex and Scanlan looks at it like "There can be only one."
Critical Role is the best. No other D&D group grabs me or brings me as much joy. It has the perfect mix and balance between being professionals, being goofy, and group synergy. Being all friends who all have experience in acting with strong ties to the anime community really makes them am amazing bunch to watch and spend time with. Crit Life
this, I want ever into watching D&D, and critical role is like.. I don't watch game of thrones, but I think I feel how other people feel when a new episode of game of thrones comes out, if that makes any sense it's my show if choice I don't even have cable tbh RUclips life
I love the advice at 23:00, on the first campaign I ran my players wouldn't stop talking to let me begin to set the stage... so they had to begin the adventure by yelling into the tavern "AND YOU'RE THE REASON I'M STILL A VIRGIN!!" and all of the NPC's staring at them. Also they had mystery pint glasses thrown at them at semi regular intervals. but they learned quickly>:)
Being here six years in the future I love how amazed they are at the amount of people that are there for them. Just, knowing that they'll just continue to grow, and well deservedly so. 'When you kill the DM your game gets a little strange' xD I also do love how Sam approached his character creation. I mean, sure, it was meant to be a oneshot, but still. ALSO love Matt shaking his head to Sam saying bards are the weakest class. Gotta agree, they seem so awesome. I also like that Liam kinda just took Lauras entire character concept. And then she decided based off wanting a Pet. I am not sure if I love Matt describing the process of creating Victor through mild panic more, or Matt doing the Gilmore hand gesture and the whole group just at once doing it with him. Oh GOD Laura's reaction to Marisha saying 'let's talk about you and Jarett' Yeeesss, I love the idea of them doing a kinda Q&A session with them asking Matt about how things COULD have played out. 'I was a theater kid, so I didn't have any shame' Weeelllll. Oh GOOOOOOD Matt trying to counteract the Wheaton-curse for that one fan was so great. Matt knows not to mess with that curse, he's seen it in action and he'll absolutely do whatever he can to work against that. Also appreciate Matt explaining where he pulled his names from. I always struggle with names for anything so I always love tips. Love the whole Trinket discussion. That was great. Oh GOD that story of Sam getting brought into the hospital and them thinking he was some sort of really young protester was suuuuper great. Yay for confusing hospital staff. ALSO the story with Matt and the ink pot was ALSO pretty great. Love the mental image there. Keyleth trying so hard to be a good person and doing some of the worst stuff in the group is kinda relatable, and makes her all the better in my eyes. Though, they are really all flawed people and that's also beautiful. Also I love that Matts wristbands actually have a meaning. That's so beautiful! I love it. Couldn't imagine him without them, but the fact that they are not simply a style choice but so much more than that makes them SO much better. Wow.
59:02 No one thinks their evil, though. Not even the really evil people. That's what makes a villain realistic: that they can come up with a reasonable justification for their evil actions, even though it's still really messed up.
46:00 Since Vex multiclassed already, and my guess is that she will get at least 2 more rogue levels to be an assassin, the gap between Trinket`s HP and the rest of the party will be even bigger. Just randomly watching old panel videos, so imagine my surprise when, at 13:39, I recognize a voice coming from the audience! And, at 28:42, I recognized another one!! I watch them on ST a Vampire: the Masquerade game on Saturdays!! I love this digital age of ours!!
I may over a year late, but the question of the show ending, I hope not. I just discovered it and am faithfully starting from episode 1 and moving on. I caught it at episode 115, I believe and was captivated. Beautiful work you guys, and now I want to find locally a DnD group to give my ranger a go.. with black panther.
+museluvr the show isn't over. They are now taking a break and will be back with a new campaign & new characters in Jan 2018, but set in the same world (of tal'dorei), only x amount of years later
Martin Luther King day riots break out. A boy dressed in rags and covered in dirt is brought to the hospital with a bloody knee. “What happened little man?” “I fell off the barricade.” “They set up a barricade!?” “Yeah.” “So you’re a protester?!” “I mean I guess.” This boy had been injured during the dress rehearsal for Les Miserables, playing Gaveroche.
+Critical Scope love critic role I'm only upto EP 13 but I love it the fact that Liam O BRIEN, Sam Riagel, Laura Bailey and Travis Willimham mostly Sam and Liam aswell as a bit of Laura there my three favs but everyone is great
Oh my god xD I was in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in high school. I had 3 parts. I was a village woman, a go-go dancer and an Egyptian and for the Egyptian I had basically like a white dress with big circle neck piece that was gold and clasped around my neck. During the second performance when I was changing I noticed it was a little loose but I didnt have time to ask the wardrobe ladies to fix it so I go out on stage and I'm dancing and stuff and as soon as the choreography changes to me being right at the edge of the stage the clasp broke and it started sliding. Well, we were all supposed to be holding really still with our arms posed and I can just see it slipping further and further so i quickly nudged it back up but it still kept sliding so finally I just ripped it off and whipped it to the side of the stage and finished the scene without it. And of course, my entire extended family came to see the play that night and were in the very front row right in front of me laughing their asses off. I almost fell flat on my face during the last performance too. I finished the play in my go-go outfit which included knee high boots with 4 inch heels and in the last scene I was supposed to lead the whole group in a circle to show everyone off and the first step i took, the toe of my boot caught on the stage and I ALMOST ate it. I dont know how I didnt. I fell so many times on that stage xD I was the clumsiest person in high school and still have the scars to prove it lol
This is one of the best panels on the show yet. Re: Mercer --Victor and Gilmore are his best two NPC's. If i were there Id ask why Scanlon doesnt heal more - bards are great backup healers. Is it a role playing choice over the mechanics?
+IntheeyesofMorbo Scanlan probably doesn't keep those sorta spells memorized. I think it's possibly because Pike used to always be with them and she was the healer, so he didn't need those spells.
+IntheeyesofMorbo Lover first, performer second and fighter distant third. As such, his spells emphasize performance and flair above combat utility. A bit of a shame for the war cleric but it does fit Scanlan's character that he would want his spells to be impressive above all.
At 57:10 Jaffe says his character is realising that he isn't really a good person. Here is a song Scanlan can sing to Percy. ruclips.net/video/gFo0-Zb_p_8/видео.html
Lvl 19 Druid, Bear Form kicks ass! =D No hate against bears man! LOL They're ALL awesome!! I agree, it's hard when you know you have a chance to step up and then something happens and that chance is gone....LOL
33:43 I get it lol. My old dm always punished us for nat 20s. One time when I was climbing a rope, I rolled a nat 20 and climbed so hard that I propelled myself 520 feet into the air. It was kind of funny, but I died for rolling a nat 20 out of combat for climbing a rope.
That first guy asking a question at 5:13 looks like Chip Foose. But in all seriousness, I recognize him from somewhere but I can't put my finger on it.
I love watching this well after the end of season 1. I'm only about half an hour in to this one and wondering do they ever have the heaven's gate convo after the season ends? Do we ever find out about the skull? I'm working my way through all the non-episode videos now so I really hope so. ^_^
"You're almost as useful as a bear" - to Sam, who ends up being the mvp of everything. lolololol. Also his suggestion that a ferret would be more useful... they are. I have one as a sorcerer and they're fantastic little scouts when the party doesn't have a rogue!
47:03 "a ferret, a goldfish, an owl, a cat..." little did they know
I was the 69th like... nice.
It's great when the writers have their story planned out so far in advance that they can sprinkle in such great foreshadowing. ;P
Honestly it’s pretty insane that those are the specific animals mentioned here
@@cryofpaine ha ha. Sprinkle
just paused this to say the same thing! :-D
Sam’s come so far from using a simulator to throwing the name into one of the biggest plot twists in campaign 2
16:18 they've been with each other for so long, they all simultaneously imitated Gilmores hand gesture. Such a small but awesome moment.
Travis is at best impulsiv 🤣 give him a big red button that says don't push.. it won't even take 2 secs for him to do it anyway.
He's more than proven that by now with Cerrit Agrupin, not even to mention Chetney's moments of insight.
I've never seen anyone as excited as Travis at the prospect of free beer
Apparently you've never been to North Dakota.
"like a ferret, or a goldfish...." called it Sam...

Oh Sam.
You had no idea what powers your character would acquire.
How did I never make the Keyleth avatar connection
Its weird to see Matt standing up/his legs... lol
Matt has legs?

Oh GOD Laura's reaction to Marisha saying 'let's talk about you and Jarett'
Yeeesss, I love the idea of them doing a kinda Q&A session with them asking Matt about how things COULD have played out.

Thank you, Critical Scope!
+AnkokuEvangeline You're welcome #LessThanThree

Saw this panel live. Great panel! They are an awesome group, and was very nice to meet them in person.
Laura Bailey's entrance... CONFIDENCE PERSONIFIED

Since Vex multiclassed already, and my guess is that she will get at least 2 more rogue levels to be an assassin, the gap between Trinket`s HP and the rest of the party will be even bigger.
Marisha said in the last Q&A episode that she won`t awaken him, because of his 4 INT and coz she`s afraid that Trinket may abandon Vex if he gains conscience.
There could be some homebrew rule about it... Obviously there is already one, Trinket`s HP is 5 times Vex`s ranger levels (4x12=60), instead of 4 times.
Vex`s main concern is Trinket`s HP. And every rogue level she gains, it`s -5HP from Trinket`s potential max HP.
So, perhaps an idea is the next time they visit an Ashari tribe (the Earth tribe would seem more appropriate for that), they could convince them to perform an "awakening" ritual of Trinket`s constitution, which will allow his CON to affect his HP.
CON=16 -> +3 mod.
Ritual`s additional HP= CON Modifier x Ranger Levels
Atm, it`s 3x12=36 additional HP.
60+36=96 total HP, which will bring his HP on par with the rest of the party`s.
+acaios1 Or something will finally kill the bear, Laura will have her temporary fit and then the game will continue without the dead weight that is Trinket, and all of us on Team Scanlan can breathe a sigh of relief :)
+Veloziraptor111 Laura's fun is wrong
+Veloziraptor111 and you don't want to awaken the dragon! :)
If by "wrong" you mean "an inconvenience to the rest of the group and cringeworthy to watch for a portion of the fanbase", then yes. One player's fun shouldn't be a burden on the rest of the players. It's just good player ethiquette.
Also it's a subjective opinion. Hate me if you must.
+Veloziraptor111 have you watched the last CR episode?
It almost felt like I was watching an episode of critical role, awesome panel!
47:03 "ferret, goldfish, owl, cat..." wtf sam & travis? just missing a blink dog & a flaming-poo-throwing monkey!
Scanlan is at once the most annoying and by far the most entertaining character. Grog is also great fun. Thanks for uploading this video

these panels are amazing.. i hope talks machina lives long because omg do i need these types of q&a with CR weekly.. :D
Every one of these panels is just incredibly heartwarming. Thanks to everyone involved who brought this to us (and that means you +Critical Scope!).

What a wonderful group of people.
Martin Luther King day riots break out. A boy dressed in rags and covered in dirt is brought to the hospital with a bloody knee.
“What happened little man?”
“I fell off the barricade.”
“They set up a barricade!?”
“Yeah.”

Not gonna lie I would freak out if I sat in those chairs that’s a tall platform and that’s a tall skinny chair omg.....
I rarely post on videos but you guys are all amazing! as a DM, Mercer, you are my spirit animal.
Saw the spoiler marker, Gah! I can finish 4 episodes a week and I just hit 30! Wait for me CR!~
***** Lol aww still trying?
"Robert larkspur jazz" would be a good name for a character
#LessThanThree #CrittersForever Love getting this extra-time with the Thursday night adventurers!
39:56 Sam should really not make fun of Percy like That!! Sams real name is: Samuel Brent Oskar Riegel. So shut up Sam
Thanks for the upload. This was a great panel matched by equally great questions
Travis is so freakin awesome
This made my night! Thank you so much.
Its so fun watching Scanlan play Sam on stage
Awesome! I missed like half of the live stream! Thank you!
To this day it’s sad no one laughed at Sams joke at
1:06:40. Not me scalian not me scanlian, i got you.
So sad I missed this, would have been perfect since it was near my birthday...next year maybe!
48:30 best story of the panel, possibly of all the panels.
you're welcome
This is one of the best panels on the show yet. Re: Mercer --Victor and Gilmore are his best two NPC's. If i were there Id ask why Scanlon doesnt heal more - bards are great backup healers. Is it a role playing choice over the mechanics?
+IntheeyesofMorbo Scanlan probably doesn't keep those sorta spells memorized. I think it's possibly because Pike used to always be with them and she was the healer, so he didn't need those spells.
thanks but i kinda asked that in that if they decided to split up the duties and not mix roles that would be a nod toward role playing
of course now Pike is not on the show all that much due to the tv show she is in etc.
+IntheeyesofMorbo Lover first, performer second and fighter distant third. As such, his spells emphasize performance and flair above combat utility. A bit of a shame for the war cleric but it does fit Scanlan's character that he would want his spells to be impressive above all.
+oO PPH Oo Lover first, performer second and fighter: "Distant Turd"
Matt indirectly describes Allura's voice as skirting 'gently domineering'...... And we now know she's kind of his self insert character..... lol
I need the T-Shirt the guy who asks the question at 1:01:00 is wearing! (Dragons sat around a table) help me Critters!
Little does scanlan know he becomes the mvp in the final fight no spoils on how if you havent watched but scanlan is epic!
PokeCrafter Scanlan has been mvp at least 90% of the time :p
That last fight he was playing chess while everyone else was playing checkers.
56:35 - love this answer! For the lols that doesnt need to prove anything - thats how i am
17:05 Percy's magic (Travis being clueless)
At 57:10 Jaffe says his character is realising that he isn't really a good person. Here is a song Scanlan can sing to Percy. ruclips.net/video/gFo0-Zb_p_8/видео.html
it’s so weird having a panel without brian
Here's the news story about Sam's audition for Les Misérables, from 48:35. ruclips.net/video/VWDjbdiSvJQ/видео.html
Lvl 19 Druid, Bear Form kicks ass! =D No hate against bears man! LOL They're ALL awesome!! I agree, it's hard when you know you have a chance to step up and then something happens and that chance is gone....LOL
26:48 Matt seriously had to explain to a nerd in 2016 that women are people
33:43 I get it lol.
26:45 lol was that a fart?
oh my goodness... what was that????
I knew I wasn't the only one who heard it!
OMG YES! this shouldn't be so far down!
the question is, who was it???
Marisha's pants are amazing! I want them!
Yep, check out the last 3 videos on this list from Campaign 1 for that Q&A! www.reddit.com/r/criticalrole/wiki/panels
love these guys!!!
Kudos to Dean & the beer maiden!
04:50 Writing from 2019... Matt, you didn't know just how wrong you were
loving how matt become host of his own show hahahhaha...
