Robert Reese the smallest fish in there is 7-8” id call the Livingstonii 9”

Whats your experience with only male tanks for predators? Does it work well or do u still have the same „issue“ with aggressive?
Gym-Fish-Life it has its ups and downs. It was rough a months ago when I switched the decor but it has settled down for the last few weeks now.

I love this tank (perfect size for predators by the way) and would love to get an only predator haps tank one day. That said, pro tip I learnt the hard way - if you put a piscivore in with your tank mates sooner or later a fish will get eaten. And a half eaten but still alive fish can be a traumatic sight to wake up to. Exercise caution!

The Champsochromis “spilorhynchus” in this tank unfortunately is a crossbreed between Aristochromis christyi and Champsochromis spilorhynchus. Too bad with such a big fish.

C. Jerome Williams I feed the 3mm cichlid formula 5 days a week and the krill 2 days a week. 3mm also.

L Boogie either the ecotech powerhead or a glass scrubber.
Chris Simpson. Oh ok thanks Chris. When your water evaporates, do you fill it up manually or do you have a separate tank that keeps filling it up?
L Boogie I have a big sump under the tank. And it has plenty of extra water to handle the weekly evaporation. I do at least 50% weekly water changes and fill it to the top.
