Can you group multiple lights and control them at once? For example I have multiple suspension lamps in kitchen, if I put hue bulbs in them will I have to control each bulb separately?

Do you know by chance whether it’s possible to connect a OSRAM E27 bulb to this bridge? I also have a OSRAM plug the purpose of which i don’t understand. (I am considering to buy phillips hue instead of OSRAM gateway because of the price.)

like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

What if my wifi is wireless?

You would have to get a wifi extender that with a ethernet port and connect via that.

You don’t need a bridge to use the bulb

      Yes that's right.

You do, if the bulb is not bluetooth enabled.

Why Should We Use This Bridge (Smart Hub) If in Our SmartPhone We have 'Smart Home Applications' such as 'Smart Life' or 'Amazon Alexa' or 'Google Home'…; So, I Think No Need to Buy This 'Philips Hue' as the Bridge (Smart Hub) between All of the 'Smart' Things ('Smart' Devices) in A Whole House, It is A Waste of Money Guys……?? 🤔

I can do literally everything without this hub and I just bought it for 50+ dollars 🤦🏾 no reason what so ever to even buy one of these thing's I don't get why these are sold. Guess I'll have to dig deep or something

Hub can store automations, let’s you configure accessories (since the proper Hue system uses Zigbee), let’s you sync lights with your computer, adds HomeKit compatibility, out of home control with Hue app, etc.
