Can remember watching this at 6 years of age. The two penalties stand out in my memory bank. Magical! Also recall my uncle being there who supports Chelsea lol! Oh dear :-)
Aah... I thought this would feature Cantona's long range effort. Every highlight I've seen of this final misses it. Ball bounces toward Cantona, who's just inside Chelsea's half, and he volleys it. The ball bounces just before the goal, hits the crossbar and Kharine catches it just before it drops. It was late in the game, already 4-0, but a great moment.
I might well be conflating two memories of Cantona vs Chelsea. I was quite young at the time, so if you reckon it was in another game, you're probably right... and it sure would explain why I never see it in the Cup final highlights!
Ah, I just searched it up and found an article mentioning it as part of the away game you mentioned. Was one of my favourite Cantona moments when younger. Also that belter against Arsenal from about 35-40 yards out.
Ha, well it's even worse in 2021! It really appalls me when I see the lack of effort from our players these days. Unfortunately I think I'll be watching past glories in vain hope of improvement for some time yet before we start challenging again!
I was there at the final having won a ticket to the final. Amazing atmosphere and when Chelsea hit the cross bar you sensed there might well be an upset coming on. But, it wasn't too be and as a neutral fan it was a great game to watch.

Man Utd should hand Captain Marvel a place in this Final. A great farewell to a great player of his generation. Anyway it is already history and Robbo didn’t play in this final after all. Sir Alex is a great manager but at the same time is a man of his own.
If it wasn't for losses to Westham and Everton in the '94~'95 season Man U would have completed a Triple Double between '93~'96. That's dominance alright!!
Why show these old games? Utd was big team then. Now, it is just a small club, which doesn't belong anymore to premier league or big teams in england or the world.
The amount Ince impressed me by squaring that ball!
Completely unselfish there 👌
Back in the day when leaders were not hard to find.
Yeeuchh.
Oh, how we need these kind of leaders and characters on the pitch for United right now!
Lee Sharp is the only player to have his name on the front and back of his shirt in history.
You forget about Tommy Team Viewer who played for the Bedlington Terriors, who were also sponsored by Team Viewer before it became a thing
Wow
Technically not 100% the electrical company name is spelt “Sharp” while Lees surname is spelt “Sharpe”

Something you'd say when you have an E
That second penalty is why the Video Assistant Referee is so relevant today.
VAR is run by the Blind Academy
And they’ve made it even worse.
Nice one.
I'd take those mistakes on the chin all day long if we could get shot of VAR
I listened to this game on Radio 5 Live and still gives me goose bumps.
It’s so weird watching how football used to be 24 years ago compared to now.
looks like a farmer league to be honest
@@redboy7345 you're got a couple of donkeys as your profile pic

Ignore that boy, my friend. He doesn't know the football that you and I know. He knows Fifa 20 football and Neymarness
Irwin got somersaulted and got up like his gf texted him no one is at home.
Respect to Ince. Who got an assist for McClair Goal
Best thing about this is Irwin din't roll around like a girl after getting fouled.
Imagine Neymar there
@@garapatigokulsairam5889 he would still be rolling until today
You mean roll around like boys/men. If you watch the women's game you'd actually see a lot less of that roll-around bullshit
I was born in 86, i remember watching that as an 8 year old x
Same for me. And Cantona was my favourite player.
Me too haha
Two of the coolest penalties ever.
Football meant so much more then.
I'suport Manchester United to wine
This era is my favourite team ,Cantona 👑 kanchelskis. 2 of my favourite players ever.
Never a cooler player than Cantona, My all time favourite.
Can remember watching this at 6 years of age. The two penalties stand out in my memory bank. Magical! Also recall my uncle being there who supports Chelsea lol! Oh dear :-)
Cantona was seriously taking the mick out of everyone in the 90s. Legend.
First United game I ever watched. I've been a fan since. I was 8
This is the best RUclips channel
Road to 1 million and more!
I hope we do a 1994 on Saturday rather than a 2007! COME ON YOU REDS!
….🤣🤣
The King CANTONA
The era I started to support. 4 years old. How time flies.
Remember watching this when I was 10, being amazed at seeing two penalties given to the same team in a final.
Score first and you’ll win 4 or 5 nil ❤️🇾🇪

United's style of play now, looks slower and less energetic than 24 years ago

Watch Dennis Irwin when violated violently in the penalty box, he does not roll around like Neymar.
My first ever watched football match it made me support man u I support Chelsea today Brian mclairs penalty a classic
And yet today on the opening day we make it 4-0😄

Cantona is the best player in the world and mun united is the best club in the world
Who else is here after we beat em 4-0
cantona is the king of penalty shooter
In the first goal, the tackle Giggs made before the penalty would have probably drawn a foul the other way today.
Which is ridiculous. All ball, no intent. You’re absolutely right, lol auto yellow now
Yes I saw that and am a United fan
But that second penalty was never a foul either
I was there at the final having won a ticket to the final. Amazing atmosphere and when Chelsea hit the cross bar you sensed there might well be an upset coming on. But, it wasn't too be and as a neutral fan it was a great game to watch.
Simply the Best!!!
Do you will upload tha highlights about united win 5-0 over city in 1995?
Sorry for my bad english
fast forward 30 years, United won the FA cup again
I remember watching this on holiday in minorca at 8 years old
Hoping for those glorious days to return..
THE WALES WIZZARD IS THE BEST WINGER
Giggs what a player he was!
In the 1994-95 season of European competitions, Fc Barcelona beat Manchester United 4-0 and Real Zaragoza beat Chelsea 3-0.
choccy McClair what a goalscorer and Fergies most important 1st purchase in my opinion
Cantona
Keane
Greatest Ever 👏
Cantona is a king

Oh,I thought the FA CUP final was already played and thought we won 4-0.
My favourite Utd team. I think this starting 11 never lost a game.
Loved this 96 double team, yes i believe they were unbeaten.Only played about 20 games, but one of my favourite teams down the years.

That last goal. Ganarcho will try to shoot and miss instead of passing.
Bring back them Wembley goals
Second one was not a penalty
yea, maybe back then it was common to whistle on that kind of tackles
See experts😂😂😂😂😂
Dawood Ali It’s hard to see that though
very clear one
I don’t think you can just run in and barge the man with the ball over with even trying for the ball.
Kanchelskis in Asics Testimonials, lovely boot
Lukaku will keep the ball to himself. And a GOALKICK.
I remember utd were 33-1 for a 4-0 correct score with William hill , i know i did it. I was 28 at the time broke with a 6 month old son.
United and José need this passion and aggresion
I'm a united fan that hates chelshit but that second penalty was bollocks mate
Quite right. I'm a United fan but I always thought that second penalty was dodgy to say the least.
My dads first time watching them win he was 10
It wasn't a penalty but a decent tap in
I love Man Utd but the second goal was not a penalty at all
That second pen just ended the game. Terrible decision it’s out side the box and a fair challenge. That ref was awful.
Was that David Elleray as the ref?
Tempos Bons que não voltam mais
2:01 is that a penalty? what do you expect the defender to do?
Well done boy
That second penalty was so dodgy.
