As always great stuff James. Tom, could you sometimes turn the camera on what they’re talking about? Good example at 8.45… turn round and show us the chestnut tree! Don’t want to be critical as you do a fantastic job in these vids.
Cambridgeshire primary schooling is a disaster James, we had our daughter in one primary school, which my wife taught at, and they placed her brother in a different one 14 miles away, they wouldn't let our daughter move schools because her yeargroup was full at the proposed school for our son. The Cambridgeshire director of education said there was nothing he could (would) do and we were left to deal with it. They completely stitch up rural families, in the end my wife had to change teaching jobs to a different school, after 9 years service there, and we had to take them both over the border into Suffolk to get them into the same school, I'm still speechless with rage over it.
Great video as usual. I see Tom has added in a written printout of the conversation. I had to chuckle at the interpretation/spelling of what is being said as the spelling is all over the place😆!
Another excellent update thank you James. Rural crime is a difficult one to deal with. We all know who is doing it (I won't say for fear of reprisals!) and they don't give a shit. Obvious things like lots of lighting at night, CCTV although they mostly conceal their appearances, animals that alert you. I worked on a dairy farm that had over 40 geese!, but most of all being aware of who and what is going on around you. You can put trackers in your machinery which helps with recovery but these people are clever and very cunning. Smart water may be worth a look at and setting up a rural crime watch group on WhatsApp or similar. The police are so stretched that, sadly, rural crime initiatives are thin on the ground. Just make sure all your staff are on the same hymn sheet.
Thanks for a lot of the video And sharing your dyslexia as I have struggled as a farmer with it But like most things in life you have managed your way around it Paul Ireland
Looking forward to open day at P.X Farms Is there going to be an email/website registration form? I can imagine number of visitors allowed on site will be limited on the day
Great video James as always just something you could watch on RUclips is a channel called the Lock Picking Lawyer and it will not give you any faith in padlocks if a thief wants to get through one you just have to make it as hard as possible and looking forward to your next video 👍👍
We've got cameras wired through 2 of our grain trailers for inside the trailer and reversing and before harvest we noticed both wires were chewed through on both trailers. I was also told it was because of the oiling in the wires or sleeves.
Good one, interesting talk with the lib dem chap, they say Steve reed hasnt visited a farm since becoming minister. Challenge is to get him to px farms
Because your smartphone is spying on you. Snowdon warned about this back in 2013 imagine how much more advanced their tech is now. Every phone call email text and photo is recorded and kept in the various Data centres. This is fact not a conspiracy theory yet nobody cares most pretend it's not happening.
Quite staggering that agrigac do a 54m sprayer and farmers with large amounts of land locally haven’t been told about it. Wonder if their salesman is old Bart Simpson, formerly of Weatherhead’s. He hated visiting clients too. Lol
Hi, I was going to ask when you did the banking episode, but we were skiing for a few weeks and it was a mater of priorities. I am planning on winning the euro lottery this Friday, it stands at £82,000,000. When we do would you recommend us to buy farm land and getting you to farm it? My mother’s family come from a farming background and it has always been a wish to own land, but we are one generation away from actually farming. If this a good plan?
Great update James,thank you.

Pretty convinced that it’s soy oil in the plastics from my experiences in Australia
@@gavinhodgson1728which is odd with the price of soya oil in the uk anyway
@@ericwilson5742Maybe that’s why it’s expensive because it’s so popular, not really sure though, I haven’t researched it that much 👍
great video james
