My brother lost the Return Of The Jedi DVD so now I only have episodes 4, 5, and the bonus content and I remember watching it in the car on road trips. However, I did recently order the Return Of The Jedi DVD so I can finally complete the trilogy!
Btw do you have a playlist link for all of your Star Wars videos? Although I don’t really have a “collection” per se, I am big on physical media
Edit: One more quick update: I only have the outside of the DVD box (with Vader), and not the inside part that seals up the box. I always loved the menus too!

I have a playlist for Star Wars Saturday Night, and a few of the review shows I’ve done, but not everything Star Wars. Maybe I’ll set one up one of these days.

I think this was around the time there was also a dual DVD release of the original and special edition release of the original Star Wars trilogy, which I love. I gotta get another copy of those.

Thanks again. Two years after this release (2006) they released the individual DVDs of the OT that included the Theatrical Cut as a “Special Feature”

Weren’t the special editions from the 2006 set the same as the 2004 set?

If you have an LG or similar flat panel lcd TV, you can change the TV settings to cinema mode and get closer to the theatrical colors on this release

    Are these the "unaltered" versions?

No these are not. Those weren’t released on DVD until 2006, as a special feature on the individual releases.

Could you let me know what DVDs exactly were the unaltered versions? I'm trying to buy those. Thank you.

They were released in 2006 individually and then in 2008 in box sets. They come with the Special Edition versions on disc 1 and the original versions disc 2 as a special feature.
Check blu-ray.com and search for the ones released in 2006 or 2008
