@jack React, the movie was AALIYAH's first movie role, ROMEO MUST DIE. Dmx also is on it, this song is from soundtrack. She did a few songs on it. The movie came out in 2000 or 2001 idr exactly but I loved her since her start. Check it out.

As all the comments have told you, the movie is her 1st feature film "Romeo Must Die". Her last film was "Queen of the Damned", she played Akasha. She also had a role in the Matrix sequels but unfortunately she passed & the part went to Nona Gaye (Marvin Gaye's daughter; she played Link's wife). There are some pics of Aaliyah on the set before she passed.
