Shortly after that came out, I was with a couple of friends on a weekend night in the college area of Winston, and we passed a gay bar that had just begun to play one of the dance mixex of this song. It was relatively early at night, and I'd only had a couple of drinks, but I didn't care. I walked in, made my way to the empty dance floor in the back, and immediately started dancing to Deborah. After it finished, a few people actually clapped, LOL (I REALLY get into this song). Then I walked back outside and we kept barhopping, LOL.

This song was very popular when it came out. Tamia is a great singer and very easy on the eyes. Her husband, NBA legend, Grant Hill, is a lucky man.
Amen. I've always had a huge crush on her. Her first 3 albums were in an era where there were quite a many soulful R&B greats like her. But she was for sure top 3 for me. Her talent is only matched by her beauty. And I admire how Grant Hills has stuck to her through the years. Even after the MS diagnosis and rehabbing. I think their marriage and Flex/Shanice are two marriages I admire.

Definitely an underrated voice! I agree with everyone who recommended her song "You Put a Move on My Heart" (from 1998, written by Rod Temperton and produced by Quincy Jones, who you might recognize as early collaborators of Michael Jackson). Also, since Jill Scott (an incredible songstress and songwriter) was brought up, I have some recommendations for her too: "He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)," "Golden," and "The Way" (just to name a few).

She's so underrated it should honestly be criminal. Loved her voice but her material (outside of her singles) were usually subpar for her voice so I couldn't get with it. Hopefully she releases more soon

Jack Reacts, seriously you gotta react to "Case- I'm Missing You". I have a feeling the way the song is composed and the vocals, you gonna love it. That song is def a bop from that era. Case also did the songs "Touch me tease me" with Foxy Brown and " Happily Ever After" but Missing you is my all time fav Case song. In fact one of the writers of the song was R&B singer Joe himself.

This was my favorite song for a while. Everything was great about it. What I liked the most was at the start it was made out to be that maybe her partner was cheating on her and not treating her like he use to, so she didn't know who he was because that wasn't how he use to act but then when she says "Or could it be
