- I wanted to do this interview because Pattaya has a reputation for being the nightlife seen, and women here don't have the best reputation. Being a Thai woman who lives in Pattaya I wanted to share the other perspective of things and give a little more insight into our culture. Don't get me wrong there are many bars and the night life seen is big, but that's not all that Pattaya has to offer. Enjoy xoxo!

Awww thank you sis. We know who we are as Thais and what our culture is really like. You and I have been given the gift to speak multiple languages, we need to share the other side of the stereotype. There are some bad Thais, but like everywhere in the world there are some bad players. However the majority of us are good hard working people, with huge hearts. Stay healthy and happy sis. ☺️🙏

Great vlog Fern, I like watching your channel because you are Thai and bilingual and understand both the Western world and the Thai world and can lend a rare insight to someone trying to understand and connect with the Thai people. Most of the Western vlogers about Thailand do not speak Thai and a lot is lost in translation. You on the other hand can catch those small neuances about Thai culture and feelings missed in translation and expound on them in a way a Westerner trying to connect with a Thai person whether it is to date, for a relationship or to just understand them better, and explain it in a way the westerner will understand. Keep up the good work.

Well fern, I like to say great video. Ive been to Thailand before in my 20s during my time in military. I have experiences with good women, bar girl, and freelacer(non sexual). First, I met my thai girl in bar but she was a hostesses. She dress modest body fully coverd really loved her. But her co worker the actual bar girl dressed seductive and she liked me too. The bar was dating my Sergent, they broke up. And well, the bar girl ceased the opportunity to be with me and she got it. The bar girl told my thai girl and we broke up. She called me butterfly, I was hurting. I felt my life was in shambles when she found out. I thought about the bar girl did that on purpose, but cannt blame it all on her. I would blame it on the alcohal but that would be the easy way out, I just took all responsibility. Second, I had a freelancer tried to get me to take her to my hotel with me for a fee, I just bushed her off. In inclusion, its the same game different players. I know for a fact there are good Thai women and very hard working, loving, caring. Thai women just want to be loved and care for, too. This is why l love thai women. Its just a lot of guys go Thailand with no plan or purpose. First place they go is to the bar and fall in love with first girl they see. Get into a financial relationship and not set rules or boundaries, just agree with what the girl wants and want to call the woman a gold digger. Knowing exactly what they are getting themselves into
I know some men come here for love and some just for fun. Some bar girls are looking for her Prince Charming to rescue her and some just want money. Respect and honesty is key so there’s less hurt. 🙏

I dated normal office girls in Bkk, they dont even say thank you and get all offered, every meal, drinks etc. Maybe normal for them but i get tired

The problem is that many people who are commenting are those who are only travelers. That's why they don't know the reality. They don't have any idea that even those university girls or workers from shops, etc. Can be also freelancers (prostitutes) when they have free time. Only those who have live in Thailand for a long time know that. One time I even met a girl from a hospital who was also doing prostitution on her free time and weekends. It's hard and sad but it's reality, I know there are decent girls too, but since the amount of prostitutes is huge and they can be anywhere in Thailand, those who are good are being affected by that reputation. Sad but true. Also it's affecting that Thai people never talk about the problems and always try to find an excuse to cover the bad things, but that's another topic about the "good looking culture"
What you said is true, but girls who are living in financial struggles or have a lot of financial responsibilities will resort to this (this is true in EVERY COUNTRY, not just Thailand). But some well paid women, or business women, go out with foreign men are still being branded as prostitutes, which isn’t fair. I know my country very well, the water isn’t as calm as it seems, but it’s still a lovely place with a lot incredible hard working people. You just need to know what to look for if you’re looking for a genuine person.

@@user-hf6uu5ie6r if men don’t know how to see reg flags in their own country or how to navigate with women there, it would be extremely hard to navigate here with the difference in language and culture. If you know what to look for the same rule can be applied everywhere. ☺️

There are many stereotypes and assumptions about Pattaya and Thai girls, I wanted to share other perspectives coming from a Thai woman. 🙏
Thier are plenty of regular women outside of the tourist areas and in nearby towns and areas

Feminism in thailand is not the same thing as in the West. Women in Thailand love to be women, Love family, love men, and love children. Women in Thailand many are very well educated even girls with modest incomes. women are Hard working From all the videos I have seen I have not seen anything close to the level of poverty and homelessness in Thailand as can be seen in USA. Many people decide open up their street Karts and sell food, some open nail shops and hair salons. Everyone always seems to be busy doing something. What a beautiful country you have Fern. Fern need Interview Fah, Meily, El your daughter who is 18 and get practice. I once saw a Video of an old Australian man who was about 70 years old get interviewed. This guy had a very nice girlfriend who was about 40 years old and he was asked how he found love in Thailand and if he thought If he could have found something similar in Australia. He did not hesitate and said NEVER. that says it all. That beautiful Thai woman stayed with him even after he got sick and eventually passed away. loved him till the end. Last I saw him a few days before he died in hospital he was smiling and kissing all his friends goodbye.
Not all Thai women are good, but there are many who are hardworking, loving, caring, with a good heart. Great story about the Aussie gentleman and his Thai wife. Thank you for sharing. ☺️
From my experience, Thai women that used to live in Bahrain but came back to Pattaya used to ALWAYS make money a priority. It never worked out.
If Thai women go that far from home I would guess it’s mainly for financial gains.

Word of advice be truthful about what you’re looking for and don’t flaunt what you have at the beginning of the relationship. Because you’ve had some experiences in the past I’m sure you can see red flags if you find another gold digger. I wish you luck! Everyone deserves love and happiness. 🙏

Thais aren’t taxed heavily like people in the west, therefore there’s less help. We’re responsible for ourselves, it’s just different.
