Thanks Mate. I have just started getting help 5 days a week for the first time this week. Hopefully I can start getting two videos out a week eventually. That's my short term goal for the channel. I hope I can do :)
Awesome video! I finally completed the engine swap (M10b18 to M20b25) on my E30 a couple of days ago as well! Oh, and I love the RHCP tattoo of your friend ;)
I changed the chairs and all the interior of my Mercedes 124 Station, but it needs a simple plumbing and I want to do the same as your work .. well done work my friend i have been following you since the first clip👍🌹🌹
It’s almost there!!! But i was looking forward to the engine roar in the end of the video haha too bad for me, but I’ll be here to hear it!! I wish i had one of these to try to restore too... cheers from São Paulo, Brazil!!
Looks pretty man! It's such a great feeling of accomplishment once you mount it all back together, new hoses, reservoirs, filters, fluids. That alternator particularly shines in it, looks better than a new one!
Nicely done (again)! Once you've removed the injectors, you might consider applying an injector repair kit (£20) and replace the o-rings (top/bottom). I'm sure the rubber is parished or hard to seal. Those kits also include micro-filters for the injectors. In any case, that's my opinion and the kit it's well worth it.
Hello, I don't even have a car, but I always follow your videos, excellent! Your cat makes me smile. Thank you very much for sharing the videos. Greetings fom Brazil.
I had to drill out and extract a sheared engine mount bolt on my e36 project today, happened a while back but happy that I got it done today without any problems so I can get it back on its wheels, got loads to do still though 🤔
i see kitty had to make sure your doing ok !!! thanks for the vid and awesome i wish i could what you do im waiting on a radiator for my van it blew out yesterday so i get to have fun to lol have a great weekend
The full body rostoration... Will you sand blast the chassis? I'm scared to see how much new holes you will have to weld up haha. But driving it knowing its "factory new" is going to be a lovely time
excelente trabajo, saludos desde Venezuela, he seguido su canal desde hace un año y estoy maravillado por la evolución que ha tenido este gran proyecto!!!
Nice! Can you explain what is going on though - what happened to the Touring engine and you're using the engine from the coupe? Will the coupe get its engine back?
Thanks and I sure can. The engine swap happened because I had already restored the engine from the coupe before I started making youtube videos. I wanted to do an engine restoration series for the channel so I took the engine from the touring and gave it the full works. After I had done so, it was then the better of the two engines and so I wanted to give it to the coupe which is going to the better of the two cars until I give the same treatment to the touring... at which point I will swap the engines back over to their original engine bays. Thanks!
Really nice video and you are very good at what you do! Nice to have friends that can help too when needed. Keep it up and nice to see the Channel growing too. Also wanted to say I've had 2x E30's the first one was an Original 325i M-tech 1, Diamond black metallic 2 doors with sunroof and everything extra you could get and it was an 87 modell. Second one was also an 87 modell but an 320i with Automatic transmission that I put manual transmission in but sold that one a year ago. Also had an E36 320i with 325i engine M50B25 non vanos really strong engines that are used a lot these days for tuning.(btw I regret selling my first E30 biggest mistake i ever did) Anyways have a nice day and keep making those Quality videos!
Are you sure you have them plug leads in the right order, you banged them on there very quick, have to check what direction the carb going, then apply the leads in the order of the firing range, there will be sum banging getting Done if not win you go to fire her up, but your doing a great job, love your video's lad 👌🇮🇪
Haha.. good eye Aidan. I did indeed bang them on without thought. It was all for the video really. It's hard to film me faffing around looking at the diagram to see what goes where. I'll get all of that stuff done off camera as I was already late for this weeks video. Cheers mate!
Looks awesome im about at the same point in my m3 build only thing is ive to settle for the the BMW in 124th scale 😂😊wareyou have the real mccoy very nice my freind looks good 👍
Hi can you list what parts needed to be swapped and why they did not fit please? I know the coupe is pre-facelift and the touring is a facelift model. Thank you in advance! Cheers keep up the glorious work huge fan from the start! 😁
The body may not be perfect, but once you pop the hood it looks basically brand new. Great work man!
Great job, it is very satisfying seeing the progress. Your hard work will pay off when it's all done and you can fully enjoy it. 👍🏻
Thanks again Frank :D
never knew that the front grill is a 3-piece part :)
Yes, More to buy at BMW :D
Restore It - aber aufpassen! Es gibt zwei Ausführungen. Die alten haben oben keine Öffnung um die Glühbirne zu tauschen.
Easier replacements if a single piece gets damaged.
Now, THAT is a clean bimmer right there! Amazing attention to detail which is hard to come across now a days. Keep it up!
Looking mint Steve! My only wish is that you uploaded more often. But still very much greatful for sharing your content. Keep up the fab work geezer!
Thanks Mate. I have just started getting help 5 days a week for the first time this week. Hopefully I can start getting two videos out a week eventually. That's my short term goal for the channel. I hope I can do :)
I've always liked the concept of quality over quantity :0
I see the touring also got a "cat scan" LOL. Can wait to hear it run!
Malcolm Porter Barring some manufacturing defect, that cat running should make absolutely no sound whatsoever.
Awesome video! I finally completed the engine swap (M10b18 to M20b25) on my E30 a couple of days ago as well! Oh, and I love the RHCP tattoo of your friend ;)
Good eye spotting the tattoo 😂
Great work, can't wait to hear it as those 6 cylinders don't half purr.....
I changed the chairs and all the interior of my Mercedes 124 Station, but it needs a simple plumbing and I want to do the same as your work .. well done work my friend i have been following you since the first clip👍🌹🌹
Thank you J thats very kind of you. Good luck with the Merc my friend!
My very first car was a neglected e30 325i and love seeing so many keeping that chassis alive , it's certainly the most unique chassis BMW produced
11:29 __ Inspector Kitty, giving you the official paw of approval. ;o))
As always haha
Cant wait to see that thing running again
BMW should recognize you man.
It’s almost there!!! But i was looking forward to the engine roar in the end of the video haha too bad for me, but I’ll be here to hear it!! I wish i had one of these to try to restore too... cheers from São Paulo, Brazil!!
"I didn't get as much done as I was hoping to."
This is the story of my freaking life
Good job mate !!! One day an E30 will end up on my channel and I'll use your vids as a guide. Cheers

Thank you very much for sharing the videos.
Greetings fom Brazil.
Perfect timing by Mr. Black cat... Reminded me of the dejavu scenes in The Matrix, as you were putting the radiator in for the second time!
I had to drill out and extract a sheared engine mount bolt on my e36 project today, happened a while back but happy that I got it done today without any problems so I can get it back on its wheels, got loads to do still though 🤔

Lo siento, tuve tantos retrasos jaja. ¡Próximamente!
I have been waiting so much in man days
Great video. Bit confused as to why you didn't paint the intake manifold though, it'll just end up corroding again. I would've powdercoated.
I was waiting for you to start the engine to see and hear it i was wait a long time for that
Lovely!!
