- First 26 lines of Paradise lost is important. It sets the tone, presents the theme, and experiments with convention.

Because, like Tiresias, Milton was also blind, and like Tiresias, Milton, too, considers himself to be the chosen one who is given the task of prophecy and who could hear the voice of God. Ma'am, please ratify my argument. Thank you 🙏.
