Is there an alternative to gum arabic?
I haven't found an alternative yet. I tried diluted mod podge but that didn't work :(
Thank you for this, question, what type glass are you working on and does the surface need to be a frosted tempered mulling slab?
I work on a kitchen glass slab right now. It's better to get a frosted one or you can use sand paper to prepare the glass slab.
What are your shifter pigments called? I see so many paint makers have them but there are so many different ones, like they say chameleon pigments but there are so many labeled like that

Chalk powder contains calcium carbonate, I don't think it's possible to make watercolors with them. Maybe you can try gouache with a binder recipe. Instead of chalk, I can try using soft pastels to make watercolors maybe.
Is there a limited shelf life with the honey?
If you've used a preservative, it shouldn't be a problem.
may i know the ingredient to make this water colour? I just started to learn making my own colour paint too
