@Mr. H personally I think 'draw with me' style video with Sketchbook would be great! A simple piece not too complicated, that showcases these functions and features in practice that viewers can follow along real time
Hi Mr. H my 13 y.o. is thoroughly motivated after watching your tutorial. Thank you! Simple to follow! QQ: Is the smaller brush and color tool (the one visible on the right of the screen and just above the layer menu) only an option in the premium version?
@Mr. H Excellent video! I just reinstalled Sketchbook, because I left when it was abandoned by Autodesk. It looks already great, nice complement to Procreate. But one question. How do you get rid of the 3 annoying multitask dots on top? Procreate on the same iPad doesn’t have them. Is there a solution?
I just downloaded this app. I was just wondering what is the quality like if exported to pdf or even printed as sizes bigger than A4? Is it good like adobe illustrator?
Me a traditional artist seeing the lasso tool in work : "Oh good God what kind of sorcery is this?!?! I'm so scared!" 😂😂 But really tho. Digital art, man. Wow.
Costum brushes is already there if you buy the premium, which is extremelly cheap, and clipping layers are coming soon with the next update, and you can sign up to beb a beta tester for them.
Hello Mr.H, I have a question regarding some modelling tutorials you did on the channel Edge-CGI 3D Tutorials and more! You did a Lego modelling tutorial but only part 1 is available on RUclips. My class has the full video series but its very low quality at 360p(also the screen is incredible small and hard to see). I was wondering if you still have access to those videos or have archives of the lego tutorial, cheers!
Is this app a free app? As most on the App Store say it’s free then say it’s a trial to buy. I wanted to download a free drawing app for my 11 years old daughter who loves drawing
It's free, but some of the most recent features are behind the premium mode, which is extremelly cheap, and you won't be charged anything else for any of the updates if you decide to buy it.
Hi, how to clear the screen....i mean ive draw something but wanna start over.....quick way to erase everything with 1 touch ? And how to name a drawing our put a title on the top ?
@@reagent69 I found a way to do it by using double tapping in left extreme corner. But ca you help by telling me how i can create a text title for every layer....Each layer i make.....i want a small few words at the upper left....this is to make story boards....so i want to type...Car arrival scene......Jr Enters College Dorm and so on. Can you suggest plz ? Thanks
I saved my image to my iPad photos but the transparent background didn’t work. It’s solid white instead. I clicked “share” and clicked Flat Image (PNG) and then saved to photos. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
You need to hide the background layer pressing the eye in the top corner of the layer (like this 5:29) to the very first one at the bottom of the layers (the background will become little grey squares) and then save. It will automatically save as a png file without background.
Pls I need your help I put my art on tees but the ppi is never good enough and I have to pay someone to scale my art I need to learn to do this on the app can you help me pls I'm not good at all this
I had left Sketchbook pro quite awhile ago and have decided to try it again. Last time I remember there used to be a type of pen or brush that you can use while on public transport that would lead off from the stylus while inking like there were dashes or dots that would come off of your stylist and then it would ink or draw what you wanted. Reducing the jittery lines that would come from drawing during the train or bus ride. Is this still around in the new version and where can I locate it?
Awesome, nice tutorial!! Sir please tell how to do animation of human character, in which our character is taking, blinking, moving hand, and simultaneously his head rotates slightly clockwise and upper body bends forward slightly than again backwards in Rough animator..this is complex ,if character was still(not moving head and body) I would have done it...... I want to do it , I can't find any video tutorial .. Please help me, it's my humble request.... Reply
Hi Robbin, you’re right it is complex to do what you asking and that’s why you can’t find a video on it. It would probably take 3 or 4 hours to explain the process. I’ve seen workshops like this but they are usually paid. If you want to learn how for free find a movie or TV show where a character does some thing similar. Then study the movement frame by frame. Pick out the key positions and build your animation from there. Good luck!
@@mr.h That's really very good idea of capturing frame by frame of those complex body movements of a character..... then just taking key frames.. . It really helped me .. Thanks a lot for replying! Sir, please make a video tutorial on "How to animate a character in Kinemaster " Would you start a series on Kinemaster tutorials???
Current 2 finger tap to undo and 3 finger tap to redo is not available on android sketchbook. There are other options, so somewhat moot. But definitely some mismatching earlier version and the current. The lack of a stroke is... Singularly annoying.
Hi Soulashe, thanks for your comment. I’m not using Adobe animate anymore. I’ve switched to Blender because it has both 2D and 3D and you can integrate them easily.
Thank you kind sir. I have been using this app by trial and error for a few years now and your video added to my knowledge 😊
What an incredible tutorial! In perfect speed you gave a basic knowledge of this app, I feel so much comfortable to use it now! Thank you:)
Excellent tutorial! Quick, to the point, informative, easily digestible. Thank you for this!
After 2 years, more sketchbook!! Yesss
Hey, thanks for your comment! Just curious, what kind of Sketchbook videos are you interested in?

Thanks for showing how to recolor your lineart, was so confused when I couldn't find it myself
It's a informative video easy to consume, love the simplicity
This has helped me so much! Thank you for such an informative video! You covered so much ground in just 11 minutes.

Thanks for the quick tutorial. I will go now and draw stuff with my new knowledge. 😉
Perfect tutorial. Great job
What's the best way to create a perfect circle or square?
Is there a tap and fill setting?
Thank you, this was helpful!
Best tutorial for beginners like me. Thank you for taking the time to create and share from our "persepctive"...😁👍🏼
That's an excellent tutorial, thanks a lot

Does this app have grid lines??
What is the difference betweeen undo and redo?
Undo reverts a change.....redo reverts the undo....i.e bring back the art to the state before you used undo
Me a traditional artist seeing the lasso tool in work : "Oh good God what kind of sorcery is this?!?! I'm so scared!" 😂😂 But really tho. Digital art, man. Wow.
If only this app could receive custom brushes and clipping mask support ! 💀
You can make custom brushes but with premium
@@Danilopianiststudent2012bro i downloaded it coz i cant afforf procreate 💀
And premium is only $1.99

Hey, remember that stick figure video you made? If I had a stick with a square body, what would the walk cycle look like?
Is there anything like autoshape in procreate and artstudio pro for lines, circles square shapes as you draw?
There is a predictive stroke setting aswell as the shapes tool for lines circles and squares
Can you import brushes into the iPad version?
Very helpful!!
I don't have that brush and color but can I turn it on or something
This was super helpful!! Thank you
How do you add a background solid color after finishing a drawing without it interfering with your drawing?
create a layer and keep it at the most bottom end, and fill it with color of your choice and change.
Big thanks for this tutorial, I NEED this😭

Is there a zoom button?? My device doesn't support multitouch :(
4:51 this option is so useful, I don't find it on Windows, to have multiple Custom Palets
I think it can in the pro version
More on sketchbook pro 6 , like alpha lock, clipping mask, mask, and layer mask in general. Draw something realistic using layers. THANK YOU
It was slightly different on my Tab 9 but really great information. Thank you
Oh thanks so much, I learnt a lot.
So there are no strokes tracked? Not true vector/path?
Hmmm
What pen is that
apple pencil

You can draw a perfect circle with a apple pen on an iPad. I'm trying to transition from paper to iPad and so far it's not going well for me :(
Excellent.
I was making some art and I clicked on this button that said manage all or something. I think I deleted my art
