Follows same principle, yet the collector is p+ doped and emitter is p doped and current flows in opposite convention. Note that this is a majority carrier current device. Meaning holes would flow in the pnp case. Similar to the FET in that it is a majority carrier of the Source and Drain, NMOS is a npn so electrons flow from source to drain. In PMOS it is a pnp so holes flow from drain to source. Just flip it.
