- A trip to the Welker Farm would not be complete without a tour of the Big Buds. Bob, Nick, and Scott have done an outstanding job of caring for these tractors and we talk about the modifications they have done to modernize these tractors to fit their farming operation today.
The Inventive Farmer RUclips channel features technology created and implemented on our farm in western Iowa. Upcoming videos will feature a remote start for our auger tractor at harvest, Luke's app and electronics to control the drying fans, a solar panel array for Brent's house, and it looks like a trip to Russia might happen this spring. I hope to give you a look into a farming operation in Russia.
Praxidyn sponsors The Welkers on RUclips with the automated Mixmate chemical blending system developed on our own farm.

Thank you to all of the new subscribers! We look forward to sharing new technology we create on our farm and other interesting things like the Big Bud tractors.
Really enjoyed this video, no hype or drama, just tractor talk.
I appreciate the comment! I am not the type to create hype or drama but I do like to have fun with people.
I'm not a farmer, but I love the BUDS. I love big power.
These iconic and unique tractors made me stopped by on Welker farms a long time ago. A lot of fun to see them work with these awesome tractors. And beside that they are awesome people. With both feet on the ground. I love that. Thanks for this addition to the Big Bud.
Really great video showing around the big buds on the Welker farms with Nick And Robert. I love these big tractors from the USA because I never seen them only in books. Coming from the 🇬🇧 the biggest tractor was the FW60 from Ford. Rob from the 🇬🇧
I set in a Big Bud in 1977 at a equipment show in Lubbock Texas at the civic center. My ag teacher took three FFA classes to the show. We were a small small rural school. I still remember the sheer size of that monster.
Warms my heart
Great video on the Welker Farms Big Bud tractors. Take care be safe. 'Spin'
great video Bob. we got seven tenths rain and 7 inches of rain.
Just awesome showcase you guys, many thanks!
Thanks for sharing some more about the Buds and the Big Brute.
Big Bud is coming back!
Thanks to 'right to repair'
Love the video. Been wanting an in depth tour on their big buds for a long time.
I love the gear pumps over the vane pumps. One can run a rag through a gear pump and she keeps on pumping. Never gives up.
Thanks
Very nice video, good to learn some more back ground on the Buds. Looking forward to our new fushion
Thank you, Jim! You are so kind with your comments!!!
See this is the type of videos I like watching. Not half music videos welker has been putting iut
Great detail video. I want to make a 1/25 model of these three Bud series and the close ups of the artic joints are very helpful since there are no Buds where I am and don't know any farmers.
Enjoyed the tour!
love it

Informative video 👍 great job
Big Bud is ready for the hemp fields
Interesting video and I think that's the most I've heard from Mr. Welker Sr.
Mr Welker Sr has his own channel as well, aside from the welker farm channel
@@coryallen2893 can't seem to find Mr. Welkers YT videos. Could you please send the name of it. Thank you

Good peripheral vision ;-)
:-)
Great video!
We call those chains Hyvo chains here tough cookies
another great video again
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing!
A good way to determine the hp is to calculate the fuel used. If the Bud uses 25 gallons in an hr then it is producing 25 gal/hr times 17.5 hp hrs / gal. or 438 hp. that is if under a heavy load with a well tuned engine. You could also put a torque load cell "strain gauge" in your drive line.
Nice video. Just found this channel, I like it.
Thank you for your kind comments!
I can have a new 18913 fuller installed and running back in the field before the John Deere techs can even figure out what wrong unless it’s something really simple and if it’s a bad wire or connection between the ecm /transmission/ seat sensor/ crankshaft sensor/ gear position module/ coolant level/ any filter restriction/ def fuild /?etc,etc forget about getting much field work done. 😂
Need to dino it 😂
You could call it the little Wagner bud
I bet these are running when all the new digital stuff is gone
thought this was the guy that delivered tires to cole, might be wrong lol.
We build the Mixmate chemical blending system too! So you may have seen us with Cole.
@@InventiveFarmer that's it! I was thinking titan tire! lol, but I remember the blending system now. my days are watching farm videos as it's all that seems to be left that's fun on youtube.
smoke another one nick. you look high af on this thumbnail
Mr. Welker. I am certain you would know. The 550 series bud I drove in 1992 I think it was had the bud famous Budwiser beer can label muffler. Why do you not have the beer can mufflers? doefler farms in Oregon had several buds. You should see if the twins still have their dad's buds and huge powered tractors. If anything take a trip to doefler farms in Oregon. If any thing you will enjoy seeing it. I used to visit the farm several times a year in the nineties. Including a 3 week vacation there. I know dad Bob has passed away. But the twins are still running the farm.
Maybe time your visit with the great Oregon Steam up!
BIG BUD ? Are we talking MOHASKI ?
