First of all I wish me too had this wonderful jacket. However I do have a lot of NFL varsity jackets, that I have been collecting on and off for the last 30 years.

That would actually be a horrible idea. Not a big enough fanbase, jet lag, overall if they want a team they should just make a British league. Even if they did, it probably wouldn’t be big, there are only a couple million fans in the UK, most of which are not from London and overall, football (⚽️) is just a more successful sport there, as well as basketball, cricket, tennis, and other sports. Basically, bad idea.
If they were to make a British leagues it would probably look like this:
