Same here. I'm lucky to know Cath ZJ, but Connery I'll forever miss. Such a powerful role model in my young life with no parents. He was a true man's man. This perfect score always gives me images of him from films throughout my life.
There's just something about the score in the film.. every time I hear the music, I just feel at peace immediately... there's very few pieces of music that have that effect on me no matter what mood I'm in.. music really does heal and touch the soul
To this day, I still can remember how this movie ended because of this song. A cool movie, but this is truly a beautiful, memorable song. Nothing but love and respect to you Sean Connery. RIP. 🥲🥲
The emotions that this music gives are incredible... Deep sweetness that touches the soul... it can bring tears down. Extraordinary... Wonderful 😍😍❤️❤️
Young women of intellect still exist!!!...Yay!...Extremely good taste...The Philly Orchestra's version of "Claire de Lune" would be good too (although a bit more somber)...
I always loved this movie and think it has one of the nicest, most romantic endings of all :). The score and the beautiful "Pudu" setting (actually, the station has a different name and you can see the stasiun national (national station) behind) make it so memorable. Critics wrote that the love story between Sean and Catherine is super-bad and hard to believe, but I never once felt that way. Although the movie doesn't have a "special" plot or lots of action, it's one of my favorites for the way it makes me feel and the way it still makes me tense in the action scenes, although I know how it all ends:). Unfortunately, they no longer make films like that.
When I got an opportunity to visit Kuala Lumpur, my first thought was to visit pudu Railway Station and petronas tower. I even made a video from pudu station addressing to my sister. Lots of memories..... Watching this amazing movie over and over
This scene always gets me. It's funny in the scene, Connery tells CZJ he'll instruct her because only he can see the lasers, but the whole time he's just there having a good ol' perve. Classic.
This song is about the love of an oder man for a young beauty. The old Man doesnt deserve the love of her but damn . . . .there was this special Moment between them
He didn't deserve it at the beginning -- but eventually, it was her who first began to show true feelings for him. Eventually, he was able to reciprocate those feelings once the coast was clear and they were free. Connery and CZJ were such an unlikely pair in movies. They were so good together.
Why doesn't he deserve it? Because he is older? They both weren't completely honest about their hidden agendas until the end of the film, but their feelings always were :)
Both of them has a passion for art which they collect(aka steal) These two are perfect thieves, unique,. But at a point that passion for art turn into love. I would say its pretty decent What is art if not to feel.
Christopher Young has made some of my FAVORITE movie scores/soundtracks/background music. If you like this, check out the soundtrack to the 80s version of Flowers in the Attic. Its here on youtube, and its so *BEAUTIFUL, CREEPY, EERIE, LOVELY* and totally underrated!
"Yesh, I know itchs the lake Dia. The first Duke dug a tunnel as a backdoor for his mistress. Hundred years later they flooded the place!"🤣💚😎 This movies has a special place in my heart!
Same mood but the theme is a little diferent. Young has a his touch on composing such melancholic melodies. And action music as well. When you listen to murder at 1600 or set it off or others of the same period, they have something in common.
This song takes me back to the time I saw this film. It’s like living in a perfect moment.
I’ve loved this song since I first saw this movie at 11 yrs old, now 33. Rest In Peace to Sean Connery🤍🙏🏽
Hope you re doing well. This song is unbelievable how it touches the soul. Beautiful
@@enigma-yu4jo Many thanks. Absolutely agree with you. It truly is beautiful.
Same here....doesnt go away...

"No, you got me, you got me", get's me everytime. The last scene with Sean Connery & Catherine Zeta Jones is timeless.
Who else is playing this all day today? Farewell, Sean Connery.
Catherine Zeta-Jones & Sean Connery were great in this movie, along with a unforgettable soundtrack. RIP 007..
@@stevenveganightowl12 Och I dear Sean..............................always the best. RIP

It has the same effect on me. It draws you into a peaceful state. Unbelievable
Same here. This score touches me so deeply.
For me too😍😍
Perfeita harmonia!
The song that ended the 90's for me💚😎
Me too! Fourteen days til millennia!
Damn. Never think about this.
