"Those good old days, I pray won't fade When I was young and in Mother's care Oh, to hear dear Mother's lullaby again The song of love as she rocked my cradle." This song made me cry for my Lola. She is 84 years old and I will miss her. She inspired me to earn my music degree.
wow nice rendition of Ili-Ili, my mother & lola used to sing this beautiful llonggo lullaby when we were small..proud of our Ilonggo heritage! madamo guid nga salamat!
i'm at the choir and we will gonna sing that at the competition that's why i'm listening to it...but i'm alto not soprano but still you all have a great voice!!
I overheard someone wondering if the second soloist (Isabella) was singing in Korean! Not. It is a Philippine dialect called Hiligaynon. The song "Ili-Ili Tulug Anay" was collected from Aklan province of Panay Island in the Visayas in 1955 by Priscilla Magdamo. For those more familiar with the dialects, is Hiligaynon different from Ilonggo?
Check facts first. Hiligaynon is the language of majority of Western Visayas plus a small portion of Mindanao particularly in some areas General Santos and South Cotabato. Ilonggo is NOT a language. Ilonggo are people from Iloilo and speaks Hiligaynon.

Ilonggo is from Iloilo. Hiligaynon is from Negros Occidental. Check nyo sa mapa sg pilipinas. Check the dialect spoken. Ara ang Ilonggo, Hiligaynon, Karay-a and Aklanon. okay na? hmmmmmmm

It would have been a lot better if the choir and the soloists sang bel canto from the beginning til the end of the songs!
pag naririnig ko yung Ili Ili, natatakot ako. may movie ata yun na nakakatakot. XD
Is this song in an album somewhere that we can buy?
Ayan!
Ayun!
Where can I get the score?
This is beautiful!
Tulog?
ba't di tinaasan nung soprano yung last note sa ili-ili? mas maganda sana yun diba?
nevertheless I loved it...
