Top Down Survival Shooter In Godot | Part 6 - HUD

Learn how to make a game from scratch in Godot. This survival shooter will be a top down game with 8 directional movement. Endless waves of enemies attack the player with each wave getting more and more difficult.
In this part, I will create a heads up display (HUD) to show useful game info like the number of lives, current wave and the number of enemies on this wave.

It's great to see a RUclipsr as small as you be so prepared. Many people just think you can go in and talk into the mic but you're clearly prepared, have a script(I assume) and know what you're doing, no fumbling around with where to put something on the screen, just clear and concise information focused video. for me the lives label doesnt update when an enemie hits the player
