Say what you want about Traxxas and that time they hurt your feelings but the TRX4 just downright performs and their lexan bodies are some of the nicest in rc period.
I feel like Traxxas kicked some ass when they made the 2021 bronco. I think it’s the best scale detailed body but this new k10 is a very close runner up! Great video Francis as you went over everything I had questions about. I am sure I will be buying the red one as soon as it’s available!
I love my TRX4! I wish I had more time to take it out! It's cool to see them make new models... They are a bit expensive but I feel the quality is high.
Strongly recommend the traxxas trx4. It has survived 1 or 2 batteries daily for 18 months. Very few broken parts. Driven hard and plenty of roll overs and hill climbing. The unlocking diffs make this a fun sport truck. It does wheelies stock on 3s. Drag brake adjustable 0 , 50 , 100 setting.
so much nicer seeing when people scale drive it instead of ripping overs like a 12 year old is driving it. Good review, awesome truck. Nice having a bull low crawling speed.
Okay okay...1. The smile on your face says it all! 2. I grew up in the 80's (10yo to 20yo) and I am a SUCKER for the Chevy Box. I think I will buy my first Traxxas. Right now it's between the High Trail Chevy and the Phoenix kit. (I want portals and will scrap electrics anyway in the RTR.) This TRX4 is *gorgeous!* I mean, WOW!! I almost hate to bang it up! I've got 2 gen 8's (1 AXE Edition), 2 GMades, SCX-10.2, A Yokomo MOA rock crawler (Japan Only) and a pile of custom built MOA, Cage body and TVP vehicles. I was **this** close to buying a TRX4 Sport, but the brand new (At the time) Gen8 got me with the Scout II body and honestly RedCat was always good to me with other vehicles. I have to buy for myself and two boys, it can get expensive QUICK! They got started at 8 and 10 so RedCat Everest and Rockslide was perfect for them to learn on back in 2017 without going bankrupt. lol Choices! ARG!

I bought the red one and have already modified it with some simple scale bits. I added a For Sale sign to the back window with 867-5309 as the number to call. A beer keg and two wood pallets added to the bed for a bit of flair. I changed the shocks to Desert Lizard shocks in Red. It’s a great looking truck.
Very cool truck, good on the trail or for crawling! 😎 I can't believe I'm saying this about a Traxxas vehicle but a really good value, as well! Not a big fan of 2-speed trucks with all the bells and whistles (regardless of brand) but this one just might find its way into my stable! 👍 Thanks for a thorough review!
A mild 2.2, extended wheelbase, and good shocks with more clearance, seem to do the trick. I've been running the lift kit on my Bronco with 1.9's and it's great. I think the extended wheelbase is what set this apart (plus the new style body clips).
I've had my trx blazer and wife has the bronco almost a year now. And I'm amazed that the mirrors , door handles and wipers are all still on and not broke yet. Only issue I've had I was driving in sand then water the motor locked up. Got it freed up ran motor In a cup of water reoiled and still running.
Picked mine up On friday. Had some time to get it out today. It definitely drew a crowd. My friend had a pretty sweet scx bronco out there but the crowd loved the traxxas cheyenne more. Unfortunately i flipped and rashed it up on the body and bumpers a few times rock crawling so its no longer shelf pretty anymore.
I did a lift and 2.2s on one of my trx4s and I too was amazed on how well it actually climbs. And the ground clearance makes it very nice. I did add a tiny bit of weight to the axles and widened it a touch which also really helped the stability.
@@danielli959 it wasn’t a ton of weight, I think just the brass portal covers and the brass wheel extenders that came with the widening kit. And I believe it was just over a 1/4 wider per side.
The rig looks awesome! The grill & other hard plastic details really make it. The internal body clips are great too. I can't understand why Traxxas went to such great lengths to make the body scale & then omitted clear windows.
I have a Bronco 79 with the long arm kit light springs and no bump stops. It articulates and crawls so good now. So long story short, I now own the K10 High Trail. Installing Vitavon axle housings on it before I even run (they were for the Bronco until I seen this release)

What wheels are you using for the bronco in this video? I love the bronze coloring
Have you experienced any "binding" sorta speak with the driveshafts? I just bought one of these and going backwards it kind of jumps. It doesn't do it if you push down on the truck.
Nice Video, thanks. I think it would be better if it would be possible to buy this as an Roller without any electronics. So i pay a lot for unusable electronic, which i change anyway. But the Vehicle it self, is very very good looking.
Great point! A roller would be so, so welcome
Will the Bronco 2021 body Snap-on the high Trail? Love what you're doing keep up the great reviews
No unfortunately. That is a 12.8" wheelbase and this one is a 13.2"
Great Review!! Thanks
Thanks for watching! We enjoyed making it.
Yessssss
Any alternative body options???
What motor, servo, and upgrades would you suggest for the K10?
Hello… I bought the 2021 bronco a few months back and I love it… I’m just curious would that Chevy body fit on the bronco chassis?
Unfortunately not since the Chevy is 13.2 inch wheelbase while the Bronco is 12.8.
Extended wheel base, 2.2s and the lift height make it closer to a 8th scale rig. I'd guess that's why it seems to perform so well. Nice truck regardless.
That's now how scaling works, lol. It's a genuine 1/10 scale.
@@FarmerFpv just the 2.2 wheels alone push it out of true scale...
Man I need something for my channel, do I get this or the Bronco?
Always like your reviews
I appreciate that! This one took some effort since I just got it yesterday!!!
Holà ! K10 or Bronco 2021 ??
Traxxas does offer some of the very best vehicles out there.. that's why I have so many of them. They are more realistic than many others out there and they are performers right out of the box..👍🏾🇲🇽🇺🇸🇮🇹 Trump 24
What servo and motor would you upgrade to? I would like the option of running it in water.
AGF amzn.to/3iPyerX. Either a 35kg or 40kg one if one wants to save money.
