Eating while watching Mike’s videos is the best form of self-care. The way he describes food and eat food makes my own food tastes 1000 times better! It’s so satisfying
That looked absolutely delicious, and the fact that you can just order it up like it was room service is fantastic, I think South Korea is going on my bucket list of places to go.
South Korean food is the best food IMO. I love how they have veggies in almost all meals. And the variety of side dishes is uncontested. And I never get sick of Korean bbq!
As always, Korean food never fails to leave me speechless. That steamed seafood feast was incredible. And the cake, And the fried chicken. And thanks for sharing ❤
Elated to see more Korea action! And dang, my brain can in no way handle that combo of crunchy butter chicken, abalone and strawberry shortcake 🤣 What an epic and glorious spread. Thanks for the good times Mike! 🙏
There is a BBQ Korean Fried Chicken spot downtown Los Angeles so delish. And one thing I noticed I caught the bus home and when I got home the chicken was still crispy just like it came out the fryer.
Awsome video per usual. Your videos help me manage my eating disorder and help me get over my fears. I always look forward to watching your videos. Thank you so much ❤️
Hi Mike! Love your content! I’ve been watching for YEARS and every video doesn’t not disappoint. One thing though, caviar only applies to sturgeon fish. All other fish eggs is called ‘roe’.
yogiyo is what i was able to use in S. Korea. yes, you can pay with cash when delivered but some places do not take foreign cards so you don't have that option. it will tell you what payment options they have for each business. also, it depends on where you are staying in Seoul and what options you have for food. i was in Yongsan-gu near Myeongdong and out of all places I had limited options lol I will get some good stuff though. my favorite was the cheese katsu like mikes but I got it with curry. oh how I miss it!! it was delicious. you also don't need the app and can use it directly from your computer web browser.
Im glad you showcased how fresh the seafood is even when delivered. I got a king crab + snow crab set delivered and it was fresh and relatively cheap. If i tried to recreate that in Seattle, id pay upwards of 700$. I paid $400 in Korea.
The breaded cheese looked outstanding. Having seafood delivered in a polystyrene box might have been a step too far for me, but the prawns looked incredible too.
I honestly love all your videos. I started watching you a few years back and thanks to you I have learned so much about food. Thank you because I always feel like I am on vacation wherever you are. I find myself going to the Asian markets trying to find the foods you eat. ♥️♥️♥️ My best to you and Christine. Thank you for teaching us how to give all food a chance😁
Mikey, you just need to move to South Korea. You're never happier than in that country. You could build a big lodging, hire staff to take visitors to all the best food places in Korea that you pick out. You'd be booked solid, ALL the time!
It has been 15 years since I last visited my home country and it is ironic that I never wanted to go back as much as I do now after watching Mikey's Korean food videos! ^_^ Thanks for another great video as usual~ :D
We could if more people would spend their money supporting the restaurants within the US that specialize in foreign cuisine. If big RUclipsrs like this guy would highlight more businesses in US it would help support the revenue the businesses need.
I’ve been sick in bed for the past 3 days and haven’t been able to stomach a full meal. For some reason I clicked on this video, sat through it with my mouth watering, and now I’m on my way to order some fried chicken 🤤
My Aunt is from South Korea, and omg... Omg.. the food her mother would make. I still drool just thinking about it. RIP Gramma. I would die dramatically to eat her cooking again. My Auntie doesn't cook often, she's a neo preemie surgeon who doesn't really have a lot of time, but when she does... Hold on, have to wipe the drool from my phone screen.
We sure are losing many who kept our heritage food going. Maybe when she retires she would be willing to teach you how to prepare some of your favorites.
Nah he just has good taste lol. And is nice enough not to bash places he doesn't like...but there have definitely been times he clearly didn't like what he tried.
Thank you for coming up with such great and unique content! I am so interested in Asian cutler but if I search on RUclips for Korean or Japanese food, I only get a bunch of the same videos with the same trending foods.
This boy can eat! The food he ordered for breakfast could easily feed me and my husband for a solid week. I can't believe it hasn't caught up with him yet. He must work out a lot! Like, a lot a lot!!
Mike, Korea suits you. You look younger, you do not look tired, no bags under your eyes, and you look fresh. This has always been the case, everytime you visit S.Korea, there is a physical transformation in you.
I'm very much not a fan of sea food, taste/texture but you make it look so appetising And Korean people really do know how to cook, gonna have to push myself more to try it Korean sea food
The secret to always crispy fried chicken, especially korean fried chicken is "evercrisp" it's a batter/breading additive that helps retain that light crispy texture.
Awesome, Mike. I enjoy your enjoyment actually :). Seems like you are in love with Korea and Korean food, like myself, the way you enjoyed food without even going out. How did you manage the language barrier (if that's a barrier at all for you)? Or the apps are in English. When I was there, I used my little knowledge of Korean, topped with some English, topped with some hand gestures :) Enjoy Mike. I always like your videos. Stay blessed :)
Aw man would have loved to see you try rose tteokbokki/cream tteokbokki thats been popping up so much in mukbangs!! Everything looks so good and fresh despite being carryout, American delivery ain't got sht on S. Korea Also, small detail but it is suggested by Koreans than when eating the perilla leaf, you put the toppings on the backside of the leaf so u don't feel the little hairs so much :D
How does he order delivery in Korea without a Korean credit card? We tried a bunch of different apps but no luck unless you have a Korean issued credit or debit card.
You have to tell you’re bank where you’re going so they don’t deem it as suspicious and decline it. I had to when I went to Peru. My card worked there afterwards.
I been watching your videos for about 4 years now, I'm so hungry all the time on every video. I know I don't eat pork, but you make it sound so good! Can it be substituted with beef or chicken?
Mike- Crunchy Butter AHHHH.... as he opens. The crunch the next morning was crazy! Why am I watching this before lunch?! At least I FINALLY found a good fried chicken place by me. Cheers!
I wanted something light so I ordered enough to fit inside a car. Part of me kind of wanted it to be uncooked seafood just see the reaction. Love the vids as always.
Stationed out in South Korea and he is not wrong about the delivery culture. In South Korea, the delivery drivers are all on Motorcycles, so they are super fast delivering and all over the place. All the times walking in the city and you can see all these motorcyclists driving through sidewalks, cutting lights to get these deliveries made. He is also right about the packaging aspect, they really do care how you get your food, not like UberEats, Postmates, etc. Food is so much cheaper and delivery fee is so much reasonable than the states as well. No such thing as a "small cart fee" which is awesome! I love food so I almost tried everything you can get with delivery services here in Korea. Good amount of variations within the culture but I would say that the states has a lot of cultural varieties for sure, but that's a given.
Oh my goodness ❤!! I am craving this food 🍱 so much! Looks so delicious and wonderful 🎉. I want the chicken 🍗 then the seafood 🦞 right now!!! 😂😂lol. Love ❤️ the video

Yes I watch Mike everytime I eat :)
Me too!
Bro i relate to this so much xD
Me at the moment lol
Mike: “I wanted something light for dinner.”
Also Mike: *Orders more than a pound of clams and prawn*
*Opens giant fan clam*
He actually said relatively light , and plus There isn't a lot of meat in clams the weight comes from the shells

South Korean food is the best food IMO. I love how they have veggies in almost all meals. And the variety of side dishes is uncontested. And I never get sick of Korean bbq!
I agree and one thing I love is the amount of colours each food is, it's all about mixing foods together.
You should try Indian food. We too have veggies in every meal.
I cant see the veggies
All food is good in my opinion.
Your Korea and Japan videos are my favorite!! Keep them coming please!! Korean food delivery is so awesome 😍💖
Same.. the Korea and Japan episodes are my favorite too 🙂
Love Japanese an Korean food…yummy.

13:18 - lol, he wanted something "relatively light" for dinner so he ordered a massive 10 pound platter of seafood.

Even when its lathered with yang-yeom sauce, I've found that korean fried chicken remains crunchy overnight.

Korea rule that fried chicken game.
It is probably because of the density of restaurants in Korea. Mediocre restaurants can’t survive when a better competitor is just a block away.
