I've always wanted to see one installed, thanks man.
I’ve use this gps it works good so far. I found a SIM card plan that’s really cheap it’s call 1NCE. $10 for 10 years with 500MB!! If you run out you just pay another $10!!
Good video. I live pretty close to you :) I was thinking about this unit but couldn't find any practical reviews. Very clear and to the point! I think mine is going inside the engine bay. It's a diesel so there are a million places to hide it. Just need to figure out how to wire it to the high pressure fuel pump - should be a fuse for it so that shouldn't be too difficult.
Yes thank you man to show me to do it. When your get stolen by the bad guy, But always keep your eye on it and protected 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I like that
Thanks for sharing Chris. Have a great day, regards Nico.
Very helpful , thanks a lot
Awesome job ,gonnna do mine tomorrow on big toyota tacoma 😅😊🎉
Pin 4 at obd is always ground as well.
8:14 - I spotted a cool dog. I immediately clicked like! Like a reflex action or something...
Thanks
what if the sim car doesnt have a subscription plan and only have some balance, will it send the position by SMS if you send a code to it ?
It is drain the car battery? ACC is for only engine start, or it can be for set charging too?
How to enable driving track? The green line from where you start to the present location of the vehicle
Can i put the + and - without the yellow cable on my Batterie?
did it drain battery? how much? will it go in to sleep mode if car is not moving? i think it have motion senzor. Let us know please :)
If someone move vehicle ,did i recive massage that vehical is not on same location where it been ?
Thanks
Hahaha. With them being that cheap I'll be installing one on my daughter's car when she starts driving next year. Thanks!
As long as you use it responsibily, it's fine, but I'll tell you from experience, sometimes things can get heated so please for ur and her sake, be responsible with the information you get from it ^-^
Why though? I’m a parent too but this will disappoint her when she finds out
does the SIM card comes with the tracker? or where is the best place to to buy one.
Any video on how this gps tracker can disable the fuel pump and what app is used?
How do you detect one if it was professionally installed?
Great clip and informative. Can I ask. I want to put one in a caravan. Would I need to connect positive and accessories wires or just the positive. Plus the negative of course. Cheers
I need answer on the same question! Does anyone know?
Hello, I can't find a sim car tracker that kind here, can I use regular sim?
Very interesting video. What you think, do you need this accessory wire connected? I mean, if you just connect 12v red and black wire. Will this device work?
Absolutely - no need for accessory wire connection! Just 12V red & black will make it work.
Ok so where’s the link to purchase all that ?
I’d like to learn how to do this. Plz show step by how it’s down
Hello, I don't want to spend SMS, I only have a data plan, is it possible? Is it necessary to install the orange cable? What happens if I don't install it? Thank you
Great video! how do you add more minutes to the sim card?
most of us have accounts with the SIM's Mobile Operators online, which you can add the SIM# as one of your number you manage and there you can purchase data bundles for it using that option....this option gives me the option to NOT remove the unit to top up units......etc....
i wanna know if when the gps was already attached to the vehicle, does it gives off distinctive beeping sound when being monitored thru the phone or when you are sending sms on the gps device?
No, it's completely silent! You couldn't tell it's installed unless you look for it 👌 thanks for watching!
Can you make a video with a live tracking.Just to have an idea how it works. Thanks
you are the first time use gps tracker?
Great Job on the video, could you give us an update on how is the tracking holding on??? Thx
Love it. It's been reliable, shows all sorts of data. I'm even considering putting one of these on my personal cars for good measure! Thanks for watching
I cant tell if it should install the sim with the contacts up or down
Hi Chris! Do you get a sms alarm when you turn the ignition on? Ofc with the ACC wire connected. Thanks!
I think you can set up alarms and such, but I don't use them.
how about the yellow wire?
How to install push botton start?
Sir how to change Chinese to English on map display?
did you test or measure how many amps volts uses? I have a classic at the garage and althought i use a charger when i dont i was wondering if it drains the battery
Same question ^
same question here
@@mifo1133 but no answer...
Hi man, how long does the simcard last? Since I am not calling or texting it is suppose to last forever? 😆
When you cut the engine by command (anti-theft), does it require another command to restart or do you keep cutting ignition?
The engine cut wire would usually get hooked up with a relay to your fuel supply, so if you disable the fuel, the engine will naturally cut out and won't restart until re-enabled. Hope that makes sense, and thanks for watching!
Is their a better power source line to splice into, I thought using it on OBD can interfere with diagnostics and/or warranty if car is under warranty? Also, wiring under stearing column easier without tearing down dash
Sure, you can find any power source that's constant on, and one that on/off with they key! I haven't had any issues with my diagnostics since installing this mod. But you can also go to the fuse box too and find some power sources there. Or connect to the battery. Lots of options! Hope that helps
Why do you want to install a tracking device that can easily be pulled out?
You want to stick it deep inside the guts of the car so it's not worth for any would be thieves to tear the car apart just to pluck it out
How long does the tracker battery last before you have to take it out and replace it?
I think it will last atleast a week without being recharged from the car battery.
Thanks for video. Do you know how to add second device the same app
You contact their support and they email back some instructions on how to add multiple devices to your account. Hope that helps!
@@TheBimmerBarn thanks
Dies it work out of US?
No body realized that he is totally naked in some parts of this video 😂😂😂
does it show the car actually traveling in the map? ive noticed that most if not all trackers do updates but dont show real time active tracking. Want to make sure that if a situation occurs... cops can track the cars active location and movement
It updates every 30sec that the car is on/driving, so it's easy to track precise locations. When the car isnt on, it updates every 30min or 1hr, showing you the parked location. You can also press a button and force the tracker to send you it's current location.
Question please
Do i need just a data sim card and this is it? Or i have to register somewhere and pay monthly fees?
You just need a data sim card, it could even be the one from inside your phone. But usually any sim card will have a monthly fee involved, phone service isn't free but GPS is!
@@TheBimmerBarn thank you very much❤
at aliexpress they are selling same units with sim cards, are those sim cards working the same way yours does?
Most likely, I imagine it might come with 1 month free and then charge you, but sim cards generally require a phone plan $$$
@@TheBimmerBarn your right always need a plan
@Thebimmerbarn how is the accuracy in terms on metres?
Pretty accurate!
Good morning,
I installed the device 10 days ago on my vehicle; the application works very well but since 3 a.m. last night, when I open the application at the position level it displays link Off (offline). Where could the problem come from please?
THANKS.
Also..maybe your money on the Sim card is finished..
Hello, can I use the sinotrack abroad? Thanks
Yeah, I don't see why not! Just make sure you use a service provider (t-mobile, speedtalk, Verizon, etc) that works in your country!
does the device require a paid subscription plan to use the app?
No, but you have to get your own sim card with a cell phone plan, like the one I used.
You sent the message to the device to start working
Does it drains the battery?
I don't recall what the amp draw is, but it's very small. With a healthy battery, I wouldn't be worried about letting the car sit for a few weeks at a time. Thanks for watching
What if they disconnect the battery does the device stop working ?
It will keep working for 1-2 weeks on the built in battery!
One question, can you install it without the relay connected?
yes you can. The relay is only for cutting the fuel pump function as extra safety.
@@arvacon ok good
What app did you use on your phone?
Sinotrack Pro!
Does it use mobile data by default for real time tracking? Can i turn it off if i only want to track by sms? Cause data is expensive.
i wanna know too
hey, found the answer, you can choose to not use mobile data!@@sami47x
I have one, but the GSM light is flushing
It doesn't work
What i have to do??
Contact their support team, they were pretty responsive for me!
Does it come with a sim card?
No, I use a speedtalk sim card, linked in the description
Is there one that you can track without all of thar?
I my car was stolen from me just few hours ago I will show you the right person that help me out of this situation
The person username is Called ZEETOOLX
On Instagram
I texted my sinotrack, but it is not responding with my SMS.
Make sure your sim card is activated, take it out and put it in another phone to make sure it's receiving texts/calls, and then finally power the sinotrack on and off and it should work! One of those will make it work, hope that helps!
It's not going to pickup a GPS signal if its mounted in the dash.
It actually works great on this car! A little bit of plastic/metal in the dash won't make much of a difference, at least for this model GPS 👍
In a HURRY??
where the text to setup the device bro
How speedometer works
Calculates average of distance over time to make a speed estimate. Not super accurate in city traffic, but better on the highway.
If you have it on the OBD2 it will track everything. But this is only for tracking not data.
To remove, is to install 😉
waste of time. nobody stealing a fiat
Tried their demo app. Laggy AF
Nice video
but I would have loved to see how to install that on a truck.
Concept is the same.. 3 wires.. +ve, -ve & acc.. just locate these in your fuse box & you're all set... But if you're not sure get a professional to do it otherwise you may burn ur asset
What truck?
Why the stupid bell sound? Super annoying!
I hope you put it in a spot that you can easy access so you can change the sim card when you need to without taking apart your hole dash every month to change the sim card hahahaha lol.
Oh the sim card you just pay every month $5 and it refills the phone plan! So easy, you don't need to change sim cards
Complicated as Fucc, nah.
Bro you could had just putted it in the engine bay :P
Great idea, I was just worried about the heat, or being easily visible to someone else.
If someone has access to the car, they can get to the hood release and look in the engine bay. It's best to hide this device where it would take a lot of work to get to.
Having something plugged into your OBD port is not good for the vehicle.
how so?...it's just utilizing electricity..
@@vtxtrinidad5440 You're way off. It's utilizing your computer tough guy. Duh.
Didn't show much..not professional
What didnt he show?
Terrible installation
