You could hear it in that man's voice, the moment he figured out what it was. The terror literally made his heart drop, and he couldn't get the words out of his mouth fast enough for everyone to *stop moving*. He knew what he was looking for, what he was looking at, and even with all that knowledge, the terror literally oozed from his voice. Props to him. He saved lives that night, in all likelihood.

Bomber says "I'm not a terrorist" when random bombs are the definition of terrorism.
Terrorism is defined as having a religious or political motive
@@meganproffitt424 The motive doesn’t define terrorism. Terrorism itself is destructive or harmful criminal activity with the intent to invoke terror or widespread discord.
@@bunsenn5064 not true the word has been derived to have a religious connotation. The guy here was called a bomber.

Living in Austin during these events was horrifying. I was about 10-11 when this happened so, I didn't really understand what was happening or why. I remember seeing on the news a couple years ago about somebody putting packages around town and blowing them up. It didn’t get the attention like it should and I never seen what ended up happening so I’m glad we got this video to explain what happened.

"we still don't know why he did it." literally has a 25 min manifesto on his phone declaring that he enjoys killing people, and that he's a psychopath....
@Spiffy Dreams being a psychopath is a mental illness. You dont need a motive to be a psychopath.
@Spiffy Dreams What made him think like that is always going to be unknown
if anything I could suggest the motive he gave is vague yet it can explain his motive in full. Sociopaths or psychopaths are people inflicted with rapidly progressing APD or sometimes something on the lines of anti-social personality disorder accompanied by severe depression and paranoia as an example; these folks can be motivated by their hate for other people, killing people might of satisfied his ego and anti-social thoughts, if he dealt with schizophrenic paranoia on top of the APD he might of even targeted his victims for very odd reasons like simply by the color of their house which sounds insane to you and me which is good for us, but in his mind his victims could of been taunting him by having a blue/red/green house.
a sole motivation for unibomber to kill because he liked killing isn't far fetched in the slightest. I think when it comes down to it the unibomber, the shooters, and all these murderous crimes that seem completely senseless is a huge indicator that mental health in this country needs to be actually addressed, we need to get intervention help for people because there's that point people like the unibomber are so mentally outshadowed by mental illness and bad experiences they lose all humanity they lose themselves. Sometimes disorders like APD can be as debilitating as Alzheimer's, and the monstrous thoughts within takes over.
@Sarah Wolfe Indeed, that one is even more shrouded in mystery with all the conspiracies that came of it, both from the news media and the internet.
Lies
Self diagnosis is not reliable, nor is it a motive.

You can blame the media for that if you must blame someone. The media was sticking close to the law enforcement and knew stuff as soon as it happened, and the minutes were ticking on who can get the details out there the quickest. No concerns about if the family knows or not.

thank u to the FedEx employe
DJZEE CITY STUDIO
Ummm, does it really matter.... one way or another LEA was going to find out about the FEDEX package even if the FEDEX employee didn't come forward. It would have gone off and they would have started to look at all the FEDEX surveillance footage. So, I don't see why you need to thank the FEDEX employee. lol...
If President does it, it is NOT ILLEGAL because without their info, it probably would have taken a bit longer. Not sure why you’re so offended by this person thanking a fedex employee.
If President does it, it is NOT ILLEGAL They were gonna find out but the employee made the process faster which is 10x better. You gotta agree with that.

Families that were affected by this came to our school and they talked about it and how it left them I remember a kid ask “is this over yet” lots of people in the crowd was not happy
My brother was one of the firefighters who responded. This was all happening right in his neighborhood. Thank God this event didn’t continue.
Imagine finding out what happened to your son on the news
29:58 when you see a tough as nail SWAT officer tearing up and describing his life changing moment. How can you not appreciate their service and protection? He probably knew he might not be able to come home and saw his loved ones, but still charged out being the first on the line knocking down the window.
Yeah, huge respect for him

is it bad that at 5:15 I instantly see the dog and go "CUTE DOGGYY" during a horrific crime documentary?
I know Mr. House’s uncle & he is the sweetest man. He spoke very highly of his nephew. Just a very bright young man that deserved a future.
