I loved her movies, especially the romantic comedies with Rock Hudson and James Garner. She was great in dramatic roles too, but I just loved her in comedies. I will never forget her!
Doris Day was a lovely lady so talented and magnetic. She will live on in my heart through her films and will always be one of my favorite women in Entertainment.
I enjoyed learning about Doris Day. I knew some things, but not all you covered. My question to you is this: why do you put images that are photoshopped in the slash of your videos? This splash shows a young Doris, clearly bra-less, where this was never the case for her. Her head is photoshopped over someone else’s body, and you do it to grab people to view your video. Your content is good enough to warrant viewing, please stop the cheap fake grab shots.
Yes I miss Doris day a beautiful wonderful women inside and out. She passed on may 13th which was my second wifes Birthday and my 2nd wife passed on January 30th of 2013. Thank you Doris Day for your wonderful life and giving me and others good hope and laughter
I loved her so much. I wasn't allowed to go to movies when I was a kid, I snuck out with a friend to see Calamity Jane, fell in love with Howard Keel and Doris. Loved Doris throughout my life, had my hair cut short like hers, looked awful on me but it was like Doris, although mine was super curly. But she was magnificent. Still love her.
That's when Hollywood actually cared about their actors persona so moviegoers could go see entertainment without thinking what messed up freak the actors are in real life... Hollywood now is about which degenerate can outdo the other for hits on their Facebook accounts...
She has always been the girl I adored. Beautiful with a lovely grace plus heavenly voice. If i could have, i would have married her and my life would have been complete
She sang alot more than 650 songs in her career she no doubt sung each one of those songs at least 30 times, she was my mother's favourite artist Que sera sera was played at her funeral,
Doris was a truly lovely and talented singer and actress! Hey, what ever happened to her co hosts on the Doris Day Show?? Her dad, her boys, and all of her original coworkers on the show just weren't on there anymore all of a sudden. That really shocked and disappointed me they were all so very close and the whole original cast being together just made the show so much fun to watch! I was saddened to see them not on there anymore. Just wasn't the same. ❤😢
@@hrfardan66 Heres an old one from the 70's. "Norman Hunter bites your ankles, but Norman Scott bites your pillow". Big on the footie stands at the time. 😁
8:05 She was one of the few top stars. Loved her so much. Didnt know who she was until i was 14 and snuck out to see Calamity Jane. Fell in love with howard keel and loved Doris from that day on. Hours and hours of enjoyment from her. Love her to this day. I loved her and James Garner together. Didnt matter who she made a film with, James Cagney, cary grant, they all were wonderful when with her, Gordon Maccray, such wonderful memories. Thank you Doris. Im 82 now, if one of her movies is on, I'm watching it.
She was the kind of woman a real man would want to marry. I am a baby boomer who grew up in NYC during the Mad Men era. I first saw a Dorid Day movie in 1968 with my late mother and our tenant and my little brother in Richmond Hill, Queens in a movie theater on Liberty Avenue.
@@xlbubblehead2505 Interesting but a true story. My late father was the landlord of a 2 family house in Richmond Hill, Queens, NYC. Queens is one of the 5 boroughs of NYC. He bought the house in December 1963 ,we moved ther on April 1964. Great days to be a kid in those days in my old hometown.
Nice picture of Celeste Holm standing outside ‘21’ in New York at beginning of video. Whoops. 2:59 Bill Crosby? Who the hell is that? You don’t mean Bing, do you?
I miss knowing she was in this world. Some ppl just make it better simply by being alive. I don't feel her warmth, or see he bright light any longer. 97 is a great long time to spend here, she deserves to rest. I luv u Doris. Thank u for all ur luv n kindness.
My God did GOOD! She always had a kind and happy smile. And did not try to use sex appeal. She was just a really nice looking lady and reminded me as a kid of my own mom. And her voice! What a voice. A bit raspy but always got my attention.
These are not dark secrets. Tou do not need to misrepresent the info to attract watchers, Miss Days name is sufficient, but misrepresenting the contact is sufficient to garner not only dislikes, but also put people off, thereby losing would be followers.
I'm sorry but I'm a bit confused as to what were the dark secrets she didnt want anybody to know. I only heard 8 good comments about this wonderful kind and talented lady.
She will be forever loved and forever missed. We love you Doris!💯
Ditto❤
Agreed! Super talented and very beautiful. ❤
And her mother wasn't a, 'homemaker' they hadn't been invented yet, she was a housewife like every other married woman at that time.
I loved her movies, especially the romantic comedies with Rock Hudson and James Garner.
She was great in dramatic roles too, but I just loved her in comedies.

One of my favourites.💖💖💖💖💖🥺🙏

I loved Doris Day to. So beautiful and talented.
No one could sing with more heart than Doris - she sang one of my favorite songs, "once I had a secret love" one of the Greats.
A true classic
That is one my favorites also very nice song.
As a young boy in the 50s, I fell absolutely in love with Doris Day. She was a beautiful amazing woman and I love her still.
I saw her first. she`s mine. Joking aside, me also back in the 50s.
😊
RIP Doris Day, you filled my childhood with happiness....thank you.
a woman who brought light to many homes
This lady was the true meaning of beauty and she will be for eternity. Even at 97 she was fabulous. Love you Doris x

A beautiful talented American woman.
I do agree. I spent my entire life looking for a girl like Doris Day. There aren't any left. God bless you, Doris.
Doris Day say Flaulessly. A voice for the ages. A well rounded performer
Did you want to marry an actress and singer? You must have been in love with her image, not her.

She made her mark in the world and it was a positive one.
I loved her acting and singing, such a beautiful lady.
Didn’t watch the video. There’s a couple of things that are inaccurate about the click bait picture.
A natural beauty. Her movies made you fall in love with her.
She had such an endearing naturalness about her- that is hers alone.

Beautiful talented Woman! My Mother was named after her! She was so very special!
2:58 “BILL Crosby”??
No ... BOB Crosby!! (Bandleader, and younger brother of Bing Crosby.)
No ,no ,no Bing Cosby, older brother of Bill.
Wonderful Singer & Actress & How Great To Leave That Money To A Worthwhile Charity. Thank You Doris Day!
talented and beautiful human - the best kind of animal; sorry dogs!
Doris Day was one of my favorite singers, and actresses. I especially liked Doris' cut of " 2nd Star to the right."

Just a great talent and beautiful as well.
Absolutely loved Doris Day. I will always miss her
Beautiful typical girl next door
I always thought she had a great voice singing!
Yes she did. She sounded a lot like Ella, which is a pretty high standard to meet.
Doris Day brings back great memories for me!
A special lady.
Loved her
She worked with "Bill Crosby?" Her 1st marriage was in '41, and her 4th from '35? A fake screen grab with nips? Wooden voice over? Thumbs down.
Not only a great Singer and Actress, but she also had Grace and Class. No other could beat that combination.
Women like her are now just a fantasy for men ,smart ,beautiful, classy, overall a great lady
So very true. No other actress/singer can compare to Doris Day 💞
@@edwardoconnell8402 As a woman I totally agree. We really need more real women today. Classy yet natural.
Love the comedies with Rock Hudson.
Always worth another watch, Day was so lovely.
Always good for your career, acting alongside a real man's man............ 😉

Met her a couple of times as part of my part time job delivering while I was in college. She was genuine and always encouraging. Couldn’t be faked.

SUPER TALENT AND BEAUTIFUL
How funny, it sounded like the narrator sounded like he called her psychotic rather than iconic!
When only the best will do.
she was so square that she was cool. A beautiful, talented woman.
All I see is headlights. A very under rated sweetie.
I tease my wife when I call her Doris Day. Doris Day was a Star of screen, TV, and music.. She, like my wife, was a beautiful woman.
When only the best will do.
She was amazing!
What a classic lady and a wonderful person.
She was fantastic.
Nice picture of Celeste Holm standing outside ‘21’ in New York at beginning of video. Whoops.
2:59 Bill Crosby? Who the hell is that? You don’t mean Bing, do you?
I believe that this appearance on The Tonight Show Doris was trying to change her image.
It's a shame Day's death basically went unnoticed
Doris day dye didn"t know that
I think that’s the way she wanted it.
Exactly the way she wanted it.
Seriously?? It was covered everywhere. for days. on every medium. as she deserved.
Beauty. A individual voice a truly one of a kind LADY XXX ❤️ 💖
She was beautiful lady love her film God bless Doris Day.
The woman you should at the beginning is not Doris Day, but Celeste Holm.
100% correct

More. Was my favorite song that Doris Day sang. It comforted me in Vietnam..
She was incredibly beautiful I can tell she loved life because she was always smiling.
When I was 12 I’d watch the Doris Day Show. My mother every program would tell me Doris Day was ugly. No idea why she was jealous
Love her
Love the thumbnail!
the first picture is of Celeste Holm not Doris Day....ouch!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A real star.
My grand fathers favourite singer/actress. And he was hard to please.
My big sister looked like Doris Day & would sing all her song’s, i was just a young boy at the time & I loved them both.
My God did GOOD! She always had a kind and happy smile. And did not try to use sex appeal. She was just a really nice looking lady and reminded me as a kid of my own mom. And her voice! What a voice. A bit raspy but always got my attention.
Raspy? As beauty is in the eye of the beholder; what one hears is solely determined by the listener and I don't hear "raspy" in Ms. Days singing,
First picture was Celest Holm and is was BING CROSBY, not Bill Crosby.
I believe it was Groucho Marx who claimed that he knew Doris before she was a virgin.
It was Oscar Levant.
😂
Never knew she was such a talented person like that.
Got news for you, she was also a very attractive pinup girl during WWII……
Many a GI if they got any sleep, thought of her before they did.

What I am young kid. I fancied her. And didn't know why or understand. till I got older. Her smile. 😊
doris day was a classic beauty from the classic film days. although she was old enough to be my mother i was very aware of her beauty
My family loved her acting and recordings. No one could sing as she did. Truly one of the great ones in all that she did.

She was excited to see Johnny Carson
I don't like the "click bait" photo we did not see in the RUclips but was shown as the "bait"
What happen to her 200 million dollar estate after her death ? Who got all her money ?
A very natural looking and behaving person and such a pure voice. Not my sort of songs but I can recognise a wonderful voice.
She will always be bright as day for me cause she brought light into the life of her other admirers
