I don't dumpster dive often but a few weeks ago I got some dying plants from an Aldi dumpster. I took them home and watered them and they look great now.
Nicole you are so talented craft wise even if the lamp is broken you could take the inner workings & use them to make a new lamp. Perhaps rehab a table by putting in a light in the corner.
Hey Nicole, just a thought on that beautiful mirror from Kirklands, you could glue a row of flowers along the bottom of the part where there was a little bit of damage. Viola all fixed.
You might not find much any more but when you do find stuff you do find some pretty good stuff. And you and Nicole are very good at repairing the stuff you find. So it’s always good to see what you find. ❤️❤️❤️
i have been dumpster diving for many years and lately there is a ton of more competition out there but these new folks leave a mess and its very annoying but always a decent amount of scrap to go around lol
I absolutely agree!!!!! I have 1 that tears into every single bag in the dumpsters!!! Come on people That’s NOT necessary… this is since the weather changed, before that, not a problem AND I found that at the dumpsters when there was a big mess and I cleaned up, they were good to me😉You know they’re watching you. I was also told they DO NOT want you to get in the dumpsters because it makes them liable😲…..Good Luck…..

Yes your right everything thing is dried up in south Louisiana over the past 3 months..we find things randomly but it's not much of anything like it was about 4 months ago ..good luck to all divers hope someone hits it good!
Glad to see you guys, there's more divers now. Plus the stores started giving away items that were going to the dumpsters if you buy anything in the store. Probably would be better to check a nearby town. Keep diving
It has come back to normal here in Miami but during the covid period it really was dry. The biggest score I had lately was close to a dumpster close to CVS where I found a bag of clothes and inside was a Gucci pants, Escada blouse, and other high-end clothing. All fit me because they are size six and eight. Big score for sure!
Hey 👋 guys !! It’s been very slow of not finding much. The only thing good I’ve found was about two to three weeks a load of things !!! When I was dumpster diving every single day I was finding more. I have been going to places by walking and I’m not finding things like I was. I used to go right after they dumped so I was finding a lot more !!! I was picking up messes left and right and showing to do not make messes!!! I’ve noticed they have been cutting things!! I have found a few of those lamps last year in the dumpster at Kirklands!!! Yay 😀 Great 👍 finds guys !!!

Agree with others. Times are tough and competition is tougher. I have had to dive as early as 1-2 pm day hours to catch some dumpster scraps. Definitely expand your area. Great video!
I learned a new tip on removing sharpie ink. Take a dry erase marker and cover the sharpie ink and then wipe off. I haven't tried it, but it's worth a try!
Love the glass lamp always wanted to dumpster dive but got cancer n way to much pain n I am slow now n I really need the help hopefully one day I might be able too God bless you always
5 below now has items up to $15 dollars I’ve been told. Lots of electronic items. Still as quickly as kids tear up things , that’s truly a bargin. So nice to see the two of u again. Keep up the great work!!
Nice score....There has definitely been less in the dumpsters but I'm still having luck at Big Lots, Michael's, Kirklands, Staples, Ollie's, Ulta, and the pet stores. I'm checking them almost daily because I have to run into town almost every day to take my daughter to and from work. There is a l9t more divers out now then before. My husband and I started diving in April and it's been off and on with us. We only go to Kirkland, petsmart, petco, 5below, and dollar tree all the other big stores have compactors. Oh and we go to big lots

Me ,and a friend went did in a city about 35 miles from our small town. We went to several stores_and finally wound up at Barnes & Noble . We came home wit 2 huge boxes Full of calendar,agenda books,and lots of other things. She took only a few home with her. According to the retail prices on the back_beside the bar codes,the total amount that I had_was $ 1,898.75 !! All of the merchandise was still good_and didn't expire for a year,and a half. SCORE! I gave some to friends,and family,and a lot in yard sales. Best yea ever for profit at my yard sales! Lol
My bro has done pretty good, a lot of great finds at five below, but check those peeps you found, and if you found gummies they were recalled with metal shavings. He is not allowed at Kirk lands or micheals . Only five below and Office Depot. Great haul guys
A lot of companies are now breaking and destroying the merchandise I have found that Kirklands is one of them and HomeGoods is another it’s very rare that I find something intact. I haven’t been doing as much dumpster diving as I used to mainly because of gas prices but yeah there has been some definite changes
I can’t find much if anything for the past month or two. All the divers I know say the same. It’s hard in the summer to find things usually but this year even worse. You found a good bit of goodies 😀
That clear lamp base would be great to fill with beach glass or marbles, etc. My friend and I get 45 pairs of wireless Bluetooth headphones from the 5 Below dumpster a few weeks ago. No recall. Work great. Be safe.

I watch another dumpster diver and she went out three nights in a row two of the nights nothing and on the third it was 5things. She said that it hasn’t been this way in a very long time. She donates too I think 6different organizations however her subscribers send donations every week, she don’t depend on that but it’s a blessing never the less... She was giving way before everything in the world went nuts... I think it’s this way just about every where. I know if you guys are having a hard time finding I know it’s real bad because you guys are the first one I had ever watched and I always say if they can’t find then nobody else will because you guys Rock when it comes to finding stuff...

I'm still finding things. Found a ton of candy and snacks last weekend. Don't do alot of stores though. The dollar tree by me got a huge dumpster so I can't get anything though and their regular dumpsters haven't been picked up in a few weeks.
It doesn't hurt for things to be expired. I have work in a bent and dent store for years. I do watch my dates if I plan to store things for a while but a few months out of date doesn't hurt anything.
It's been at hit or miss but I did get a few decent beauty scores lately and a tiny bit of clothing. Don't go as often as I like because of gas prices and be well work 2 jobs. I been on a leave for over a month again and been doing some diving.
That lamp that looked like a jug might be the kind where the top screws off and you can fill the jug with marbles or small shells. I had one sorta like it that was filled with shells.
I think the stuff from five below was Easter stuff. My sister bought the Nutella’s for Easter baskets. Do you ever go to college campuses after they move out to check the dumpsters?
I read somewhere that some stores are not taking returns because of overstock issues they are just refunding and letting customer keep products so not sure if that may be one reason.

I think with the cost of living going up so much more people are dumpster diving to make ends meet.
