Rubberize your feet, if you need the pad. Hatch operation, gas spring with over center latch design would make it safe. Open with your head going up and a foot button going down. The place is amazing!
Your kids are incredibly well adjusted. A tribute to good parenting. As for rubberizing your feet, it's not impossible to find size 15 running shoes on ebay.
Leave it wood. The rubber will break down in that enviroment. A wax maybe but you're talking about adding some toxic material that you don't need. I mean worse case...3d print some TPU shoe slips ons.
Rubber can cause breathing problems if you’re chronically exposed to a lot of it indoors. Some people who have built earth ships for example have developed breathing problems from all the tires. I would keep it wood. No to rubberizing
@@JMEMantzel Wow. Those were pretty small leaks then. I guess that gives you an idea where you need to caulk a little. Nothing like in your last dome where you had to risk your life to fix the roof because of the urgency. I forget exactly what the issue was there, that was a long time ago.
Now, don't come back and complain that you developed plantar fasciitis... it's no fun. Our feet have not evolved to run on hard surfaces without shoes.
Man, you're really into exercising! But if you wanna feel at your best you should only eat animal proteins and animal fat. Use quality salts for seasoning, tallow or clarified butter for cooking and only drink water. For anything plant based is full of phytotoxins that will trigger inflammations anywhere in your body. Plants/fruits also contain sugars/carbohydrates (glycation), fibers (that slowly destroy your gut lining), oxalates, lectins, tannins, ... The Inuits survived for thousands of years in the most harsh conditions on this planet eating only animal meat and fat. Native Americans used to eat mostly bisons. With the leftovers, they would dry the meat out in the sun and then blend and mix it with liquid melted bison fat. 8:23 the look of "wtf is he talking about?" on her face is hilarious 😀 for me the disco-ball and rollerskates image triggers memories..
Track turned out great...
The sound is FANTASTIC. barump...barump...barump...barump...Barump. Barump, Barump, Barump, BARUMPBARUMPBARUMPBARUMP!
One things for sure, you’ll never get cornered.
Incredible! They should make an indoor playground like this.
Trampoline next? Can't wait to see the next floor. Absolutely love the running track, amazing work dude.
that's so cool! but I gotta be honest, dude you looked like you were about to die up there at one point 🤣
I can't believe you actually built he running track! Looks amazing.
Fantastic!!!
THIS IS TRIBAL MUSIC :D
pipe railing around the stairs wont interfere/ might help with dips etc. you could add a temporary/ moveable crossbar for pull ups too
I was at a indoor track meet in high school where the track was about that size.
instead of rubberizing you can use shoes
Maybe you should rubberize your feet. It would be better for your joints in the long run. (and less expensive)
I was just thinking the same, a lot less rubber and you can chose do you put on skates or running shoes.
Ditto. Or rubberize the bank.
Your kids are incredibly well adjusted.

awsome.
oh that's what they call running in circles
Well done!
house of fun

i counted 29 strides while slow running and 23 while fast. not that it matters to count them, but i couldn't help my self.
victory lap
How many laps does it take to get to a mile once you are on the bank running?

The rollerskaters like your comment.
Looks like Aurora is rolling downhill all the time. Jaimie, have you built one of Escher's impossible circles? 😅
the world's most powerful particle accelerator
For argument's sake how would you rubberize the track?
Are the the little puddles on the track just your sweat?
No. There was a storm overnight. Few drips got it. Not sure how much it rained, but there are buckets outside that are full. :-P

You also need a track bike.
Not sure I've ever noticed censorship in one of your videos before.
Just rubberize the angled portion only?
Yeah... definitely an option. Only problem is the roller skaters will often put one foot up on the bank.
Do not rubberize it as it is its goid for both, add the rubber and no more skating
What's with the blurred out corner of your video?
So in case the children walk by in diapers or no diapers!lol,or it's from where he touched it?lol
Usually you blur out things you don’t want people to see or know about… 🤷♂️
Given the way your place is constructed, running in circles like that will help your foundations settle evenly.
🎉
