Thanks for the engineering aspect. The link you mention at the end -arguments about the origin of structures - doesn't appear in the video. if possible, put the links in the video description. About 14 years ago, I came across a foreign archeological team reporting on a structure, perhaps a fort that was a bit older than Asoka's structures. It was somewhere in Kalinga to the best of my recollection.
Will you also cover the Tripartite Struggle and the Late classical Period (upto the Second Battle of Tarain) ??? Also, why don't we seem to have proper Manuals for constructing palaces, homes etc from Pre-islamic india unlike the Byzantines and Other Europeans who kept extensive manuals and records???? Is it because the Indians weren't interested in keeping manuals or maybe the records were lost due to them being written on leaf ????
Yes, will cover the Tripartite struggle as well. About the second question. I don't have an exact answer to it. Will try to discuss this on my second channel.

I am reading about ALEXANDER THE GREAT Persians Achaemenids fielded according to modern estimates 1 lakh to 1 lakh 50 thousand, they had an empire stretching from Anatolia in west to indus in east and jaxartes in north to modern day iraq in south . If they can raise only such an army and ruling most of known world , then how a tiny kingdom of porus which at most contains two modern district at most have an army which consists 50000 infantry . And nandas they control only north india excluding Gujrat, kashmir ,northeast ND northwest .How can they raised 2 lakh infantry.
India was always very populous so indian kingdoms had way more soldiers compare to others so it was difficult to unify india because even small indian kingdoms had massive armies like 10-20k. So only some empires like the mauryan empire which had 600000 infantry, 30000 cavalry, 10000 chariots and 10000 war elephants or the gupta empire which had 500000 infantry, 50000 cavalry, 20000 chariots, 10000 war elephants were able to unify entire india.
Most of 1 lakh force, 2 lakh force are bluff. High population existed only around fertile river basins. Indus Ganga basin, Mesopotamia, Nile had high population. And we had Elephants aka Ancient battle Tanks.
@@Narimann Elephants became useless after the Invention of composite bow . It's strange indeed that after the decline of guptas ,no kingdom adopted the Gupta style heavy Cavalry and horse archers.
