Well, the Tiki Room was built to cash in on Hawaii becoming a state, and the Hawaiian craze that ensued in the 50' and 60s. Makes sense they'd feature a character from a film set in Hawaii.

We were offered devices that had english translations on it for all those that want english. Staff was very kind about it.

Now, if they had Stitch crash the Under New Management version, and have him getting into a petty feud with Iago, that would be epic! And it would be a callback to the teaser trailers of Lilo & Stitch, when he crashed other Disney films.
@@Thoralmir That’s actually apart of my plan for a better version of Under New Management. After Iago insults the Tiki Gods, the “Big Kahuna” (Stitch) starts causing havoc. Eventually after Stitch gives off an incredible performance, Iago actually learns a lesson, and that lesson is old doesn’t always mean boring or bad.
I do like that we have stitch in full alien form and would still like to see the great escape animatronic used in some fashion after its gone, kinda like how Paris has the dragon underneath its castle as a walk by attraction.
now this is how you update the tiki room all it needs is the original song in it and its complete i mean its nice to see it feels like a modern version of the show and not just have the new characters trash it into a mess (were looking at you new management!)
they need to do this for the abandoned stitch animatronic at walt disney world instead of just letting him rot away
but the stitch's great escape animatronic has 4 arms, it would probably be hard to remove 2 of them

Yeah but you got to remember that the enchanted tiki room is a Walt orginal. there are certian rides and attraction like the tiki room that can always stick around and be great because of the true history and Walt touches behind it.
they did good work with the music and sounds. japanese sounds tough to speak so fast, but do like it. stitch is so funny and cute to see.
I recently went to tokyo disneyland, and if you speak japanese, you'll enjoy the whole concept and might enjoy it a bit more. tbh, this attraction is amazing, and even my cousin who spends most of her time on instagram loved it. rate it 9/10 tho

This was the first tiki room so far i have seen real life
this is a HUGE improvement over Under New Management. I already stated that I didn't mind under new management that much since it was cool seeing Iago and Zazoo interact with each other. But I can understand why everyone doesn't like it. Even though I defended it, I will say that it wasn't perfect, this show however is much better. The animatronic Stitch is cute and adorable, he's much more likable, and he has a much better reason for why he's here.

Under New Management. I love Zazu so, to see him get a starring role( unfortunately alongside an obnoxious other bird) was a dream come true for me
This 1000%. This keeps original tiki room spirit while adding stitch while under new management just slaps tiki room in the face.
Are those the animatronics making all those clicking sounds? There's gotta be some way to pad that out, no, Imagineers?
I'm sure there is, but part of the charm, if not the point of the various Tiki Rooms in the world is that they're still running on technology and techniques half a century old. Unlike, say, Pirates of the Caribbean or the Haunted Mansion, the Tiki Room would probably be completely replaced with something better before they would pay to have it be fully overhauled with new figures.

TheInflicted I misread the title! I thought it said Disneyland California and freaked out! I love the the Tiki Room the way it is! However, I should have been able to tell from the exterior shots that it wasn't the same.

Huge Disney fan but I'm surprised they did the Tiki room because the concept is so dated with very little movement.

Think of it like going back and changing snow white into some modernized thing that makes fun of disney tropes, basically turning it into shrek 2. That's how we feel about the Tiki Room. You don't mess with perfection. It needs a refurbish at best. The seats are still full when I go see the original Tiki Room and there's always full shows. People just love to sing like the birdies sing. I'm a 24 year old woman and I still sing every song when I'm in there. Besides it's also a major part of our history as Disney fans. Tiki Room was the very first Audio Animatronics. They had the ones in Peter Pan and the various other Dark rides before. Those were the first robots in rides, but it was simple statues on a pivot. These birds were the first to actually appear to be talking, singing, breathing, and moving to what was happening around them. The very very first of it's kind that started a massive spiral into what we see today, even now we're getting into AI autonamatronics, ones that recognize speech, color, size, articles of clothing, etc like Mister Potato Head in Midway Mania. These birds started everything. That's why you don't touch Tiki Room.
I thought stitches great escapes stitch was good this one has way more fluidness and has a way bigger range of movement and i know I made up a word
