As a Dodgers fan living in AZ I regularly attend Dodgers/Dbacks game. Was there in 2017 Postseason when the Dodgers closed out the series. This was the most fan packed game for the Dbacks I’ve ever been to when LA comes to town. Dbacks and their home fans came to play tonight! Dodgers couldn’t match the energy. Great experience nonetheless.
What brilliant decision making by Dave Roberts. First, leaving Lynn in after the second homer. Second, leaving Lynn in after the third homer. Finally, leaving Lynn in after the barely foul homer at the right field foul pole so Lynn could give up a monster tatter to left center. Davey you should get a Nobel Prize! Gosh, I hope the Dodgers realize how wise Davey is and give him a ten year extension on his contract. Lynn will probably take Davey out to dinner tonight for getting him in the playoff record books!!!
You’re right about him leaving Lynn in too long, but the manager can’t pull a pitcher mid at bat unless there’s an injury. He had to let Lynn finish the at bat that resulted in the fourth homer.
Roberts has the best team money can buy, year after year, but he always screws it up.

If anything, you better enjoy your past success, because the run the DBacks are on will only attract more talent to a winning squad, and we'll retain the guys like Corbin, Gabby, Ketel, Christian, Alek. Just be prepared to see more strength from AZ in the future bro. AZ has a history of being poorly managed, but that's turned around over the past 5 years. Gonna be different in the west now.

I'm a Phils fan and fear the D Backs more than the Braves. They have sleeper pitching and bats and youth and SPEED. Their manager is also great. They are built for a playoff run and have caught serious momentum.
I’m a Braves fan that’s ready to say the Phillies have their number. As much as I want to have hope they can get it turned around these 3 games have shown that it just doesn’t look that way, Atlanta got lucky they even won Game 2 to be honest. I was born in Phoenix and I do support the teams there, minus the Coyotes so if Atlanta doesn’t win it all I hope Arizona does, still either way the success the D-Backs are having is a good consolation prize for me.

Astors fan here. We wouldn’t worry about them. We slept them at home out last series of the year. Phil’s are the team to beat out of the NL and I hope to have a rematch like last year.

LA needs to fire Andrew Friedman and Dave Roberts. That's great they can keep win the NL West Division. But the reality is that their front office doesn't know how to build a roster capable of advancing in October and their manager can't get his players prepared to play in October. Change is needed.
The irony is that Red Sox fans desperately want someone from the Dodgers FO to run the organization and they envy the Dodgers for getting Mookie. 😂
