Hmmm, I grew up in Rosebud and used to ride all over the peninsula in the 60s and 70s on a three speed drop handlebar bike, on which the brakes refused to work (an ankle well placed against the back wheel worked a treat, even on long down-hill stretches the inland side of Red Hill). In those days an adult riding a bike showed a lack of manhood and was fair game for most motorists. How I made it to 70 I have no idea. thanks for the comparatives. My dad set up the first peninsula bike shop in the 70s in Rosebud, and the smell of glue and rubber has stayed with me. He built lovely bikes though I suspect you guys would scoff at them.

Don’t worry Dave I always mess up what I say to the camera as well 🤣
Lol - i was watching it back going “Are you drunk right now?” 🤣🤣
Great descent!
I still need to get my other camera mounted for some facial reactions!! 😉
Great video mate! Was just doing the ride up to Arthur's Seat side too last week.. What camera are u using by any chance?
Thanks - glad you enjoyed the video! For cameras using combination of gopro 8 with appalling battery life and iphone 14.
