Oh wow ... your server took good care of you! That Yorkshire Pudding reminded me of Sunday dinner in the college dorms. We had it EVERY Sunday with roast beef ... those were the days!
Looks divine! Thanks for the lowdown on the Pub. I, too, walk by but never have gone insdie. Think I'll stop by to try that soup and mushrooms and something else 😀 very soon. Great fall meal!
Thank you Diana! Yes, I've walked passed so many times. But I think some things warrant checking out. I'll probably go back when I'm at Caesars just for that soup. Thanks for watching!
Omg!! All 3 desserts for free?! You totally scored! I was so ready to comment about the Yelp check-in ‘cause not a lot of people know about it. I’m glad you knew about it.
I've eaten here twice; no problem getting reservations the same day, which is NOT the case with Hell's Kitchen. Three years ago they had Warsteiner Dunkel on tap, my favorite German beer, but I don't see it on the menu. Prices have gone up a lot over the pandemic. The onion/ale soup and toffee pudding are the stars here.
Yeah, I was a walk in with absolutely no problem getting a seat. I'd say when I first got there the restaurant was about 70% full. I'm sure prices have gone up over the years like everything. But I was surprised to find gems like the soup. Thanks for watching!
Not eaten there in years, the menu has changed a lot, it was mostly burgers when I went. I had a lamb burger with too much goats cheese on. Might go to try the apple dessert. Great review again Shin, love seeing your smiley face
It's definitely more of a gastropub than your standard bar/pub food. I highly recommend trying that apple dessert if you swing by. Big surprise for me. Thank you for watching!
Hello Shin! I was so excited there is a new weekly video from you. You really know how to select your dishes! I’m definitely going to try that cremini mushroom side when I go to Vegas! Wow Shin! You are so lucky you got not one but 3 desserts! See even the servers think you’re awesome…maybe start going closer to closing times and see if it is a new dessert trend for you😊. Thanks for the Shin Smile of approval on this venue! Have a great week at school and work!
Hello Arlene! I schedule my videos to come out at noon pacific on Saturdays if you'd like to know when they come out. And yes wow I was stunned when they brought out all 3 desserts. I'm genuinely debating if I should try going to restaurants closer to closing lmao. Ultimately though it's when time allows. Thank you for watching and your support!
It was good, but as mentioned in the video it was not the best prime rib I've had in town. I too love a good prime rib and it was decent enough. I'll put Amalfi on the list of restaurants to try out. Thanks!
Excellent review. I'm going in April, staying at Caesars and this will be my 1st meal stop. Scanning the menu the only difference for me is I'll order Oysters for my appetizer... Thank you for the review.
Oh the soup was truly the best. I've gone back a few times since making this video and just had a soup and coke at the bar. Thanks for watching Ashley!
I agree it’s not that busy and usually get a walk in. They have that carrot 🥕only fed beef filet minion I wanna try! Love that free Yelp check in sticky toffee!! 🍨 Locals get 3 hours free parking if u just scan license at exit too.
Yep, I had no problem walking in with no reservation and the restaurant was about 70% full when I first arrived. I do appreciate that Caesars properties offer us locals 3 hours of parking. It's just enough for me to do a full review of a restaurant and not have to stress about parking time. And the Yelp deal is great, especially if it somehow turns into all 3 desserts!! 😀
I guess they are! Never thought about it but they're very similar if not exactly the same. It was a very good meal. Those mushrooms were really tasty. Thank you for watching Lucia!
I'm looking for drink coupons for making sports bets. An idea for future vids. What casinos give the best comps for making sports bets. What casinos allow a players card to be scanned when making a sports bet
That's a very cool video idea. I just worry that I don't have intimate knowledge with sports betting and wouldn't be able to provide any inside tips. I'll ponder on it though, thanks!
@@steveseattle140 I'm planning on getting a review there, currently looking at this summer. And yes, those custom metal oven carts are awesome. I think they cost like $10,000 lmao.
We have 5,000 Vegas vloggers that constantly rave about Ramsey's toffee pudding. It's ok, but if you want a sticky toffee pudding that blows his away, head up to Cornish Pasty. Btw, as a fairly new vlogger you might want to concentrate on restaurants off the strip. Everybody and his brothers has done the strip restaurants a thousand times over. Just a suggestion. I visit Vegas regularly just to eat. Vegas has the best restaurants in the country.
Cool, I'll put Cornish Pasty on my list to check out! And I appreciate the advice. I do plan to do more off strip locations in the coming year. I've still got a lot to learn and I want to expand the channel eventually to include more about Vegas than just the food. One step at a time though, I'm a slow learner. Thanks for watching!
Nice I hope you enjoy the visit next month! I have had the tikka masala since making this video and it's actually very good. Like, really good lol. I'd recommend it. Be sure to check in on Yelp to get that free dessert! Thanks for watching!
Tbh I was kind of sad to see you get prime rib at a Ramsay restaurant. I feel like if I'm going to pay the price for a meal at a celebrity chef's place, I'd get something they're known for. The soup and the mushrooms did look delicious! Great score on the dessert! You went from on the fence to eating 3 🤣😂
Shin, great video. I have to say though the prime rib - at least visually - didn’t look that appealing. It looked a bit cold - the huge white blobs of fat for example (usually fat congeals again like that when something gets cold) and it looked a bit dry. But of course I may be wrong - just commenting on how it looks. The video you made on Primarily Prime Rib, their prime rib looked much better - it looked hot (temperature wise) and juicy and the fat seemed properly rendered
Hi Norman, totally fair criticisms. I'm not sure what to tell you. The fat was rendered but it does look more congealed in the video. Personally, I'd stick to Primarily Prime Rib or Ellis Island for the price. You're not getting a prime rib twice as good by purchasing it here. I was told by my server when chef Ramsay stops by to eat here while he stays at Caesars on business, he always gets the tikka masala. That's what I'll have to try next time. Thanks for watching!
My personal favorite prime rib in Vegas is at Lawry's on Flamingo a few blocks east of the strip. It's in their name, and it's the most consistent excellence in prime rib.
I love how your Vegas reviews have a wide base of prior experience-- you know your town and most of its restaurants. It's a shame when reviewers base a review on a single trip alone. Think the free dessert was at all because they recognized you and knew you were doing a review?
I didn't have too many subs or anything two years ago when I made this video so I doubt I got it for a review. I think they were literally going to throw it away is what the server told me at the time. Thanks for watching!
Shinster, I'm surprised a broadcasting co. hasn't picked you up yet. Ya' know like a two minute segment once a week on the news. Or even a half hour show called "Lifestyles Of The Rich & Vegas. Throw on a suit and you'd be good to go. No B S

Shin: thank you for review and effort but I would never step foot in a Gordon Ramsey restaurant for the mere fact of price gouging. He rips people off at absorbent prices. $16 for soup, $55 for 8 ounces if steak, $12 for a can of beer 🍺 good lord is there no decency. Ramsey is laughing all the to the bank 🏦
You're not wrong. I paid $100 plus tip for dinner and that didn't include paying for 3 desserts. But that's relatively standard for dinner om the strip nowadays. I did find a new gem though and I'll probably stop by for that soup from time to time even though it's expensive. It really was that good.
They charge $34 for fish & Chips, wow! A place a block from me has all you can eat Walleye every friday for $11.50, and that includes 2 sides and a hot roll. I am 62 years old, and I have never spent more than $30 for a dinner in my life, and that was for a really good 12 oz. boneless ribeye steak dinner that cost $25.00, including 3 sides. I spend $8.00 to $12.00 on an average day for dinner, and if I split a pizza with a friend I only spend $9.00, for half the pizza. I am amazed people pay $50 or more for a lunch or dinner, I can afford it, I just do not want to spend that much money for food. I save that money, and buy stocks with it.
Vegas is certainly no longer a cheap vacation destination that's for sure. Prices have steadily risen the last few years and it's pretty ridiculous right now. To be honest, I'm there with you. Outside of making RUclips videos, most of my meals end up being around $10. That said, I don't know if I would have wanted to go my whole life without any kind of fine dining. I enjoy the experience very much. Thanks for watching!
You're not wrong. $100 for dinner when the desserts were free is a hefty price tag. I do think though that I'll be returning occasionally just for the soup. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! I'll keep that in mind for the future. I've left it out completely in general since it just means "with" and I'm usually saying "with" in English when I'm talking about it anyways so it gets redundant. Thanks for watching!
I went to the pub and grill in Macau, China and as an English man I can say that the beer (London Pride) was delicious and one of the three dishes we ordered was delicious. BUT the decor and the ambience and the whole set up is 100% American. It feels cheap, tacky, without any soul or character or charm and of course two of the dishes we ordered were not very good. Why call something a 'PUB' if it has ZERO features of a PUB? It is just dishonesty. My conclusion was 4 out of 10. AND G.R himself had visited Macau just 1 week before we ate there. Disappointed is not a strong enough word. Still if you are American and expect to eat in a place with chandeliers and passable food then im guessing this is the place for you.
@@VegaswithShin Maybe but its an American Casino and Ramsay himself designed the place. regardless it isnt very good. I expect the Vegas one is just as bad.
