And even in the video the trimac was a little bigger then the midevil and the midevil was biting his fins and getting the upper hand but trimacs can also be more aggressive then devils but the devil is the devil for. A reason
Shut up. lol I didn’t know that reputable breeders sell midevil. I don’t keep hybrids. Go spread your facts elsewhere. It was purchased from Cichlids of America’s along with 6 other Amphilophus species.
On average Trimacs get larger and are more aggressive than devils, they’re just not as common so most regular cichlid keepers think Devils are more aggressive.
@@michigancichlidfinatic2581 how much were all six because of your comment I'm getting in contact with cichlids of America to see if they have a pair RD's for my 125.
This is a red devil mate, it's lips are pointed and very fleshy but as it gets fed with some pellets or frozen foods the lips back up after a time which is normal.
I broke it up because neither would give . But I’ve came home on 2 occasion and their divider was down. They both have beat eachother near to death 1 time a piece
Both beautiful fish but that’s not a true labiatus if it were a true labiatus that trimac wouldve got the short end of the stick trimacs are very aggressive also tho
If you knew anything about cichlids you’d know any Amphilophus could beat another depending on the day. That F1 La Zaperata Amphilophus Labiatus purchased from COTA
@@silentbearhunterakitaskenn2018 lol Zaps aren’t particularly known to have the biggest lips. It varies with the individual. And I’m sorry I responded defensively. I was a little offended by your Original comment. I appreciate you viewing the video and your entitled to your own opinion
@@silentbearhunterakitaskenn2018 well as we can see that red devil is kinda big you know, when they get fed with pellets the lip structure is being rebuild more normal. Only if they need to eat algae they have fleshy lips. Maybe you forgot that...
Bored mine die allot my pikes ripped off the bottom or top jaw if she's not feelin a fish they're shoved in that small 📦 man and them devils are called devil for a reason it WILL win in long-term and yull have too clean it ☝
The other fish is a Trimac cichlid. Can more than hold their own against Red Devils I’ve had them both since hey were babies and the Trimac has always been my most aggressive fish.
Brigou brigou ninguém viu quem ganhou
Notice the red devil has better leverage (being a mollusk crusher) it's easier for it to latch on to the extended lower jaw of the Tri-mac
W TRIMAC😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I need to find a Red Devil with that exact color. Such a beast!
He was a beast I hate u had to rehome him
That Trimac is wicked sick!
These are by far My 2 favorite fish I’ve ever had.
Team Trimac ❤
Can't wait for my amphilophus to get big. I got 2 devils about 6 " and other at 4"
2 trimacs about 4"
FH about 4"

who win?
It ONLY takes it easy cause it recognizes YOU at the tank

What is your reason for thinking there is any midas genes in that Red devil?
I don’t see any??
Who actually gave up mate?

@@channasnakehead4051 yes they are both healed up and doing better now
I saw people fighting like that all the time, especially in the gay bars.
