I learnt guzheng with Eight Tone 4 years ago but die to family commitment with 2 kids, I couldn’t continue anymore. So I bought a medium size version just to maintain my interest and slowly pick up again thru youtube.

Hi, for A scale, the highest note (string1) is C#, followed by B, A, F#, E, then on repeat to C# again. The coloured string should be tuned to A

I believe so, but for optimum sound, you need to adjust the bridge distance.
hello, i have a 16 stringed guzheng. Would i tune it the same way i would a 21 string?
No it won't be. Because it is not a standard Guzheng, could be another type or something, so I won't know what the tuning is.
