The forest itself is another metaphor of the world and the silver fog is the atmosphere of sadness and denial of reality that has been created around the two lovers, that are the protagonists of this song. Most of the it is about the promise of the one that is alive to never forget the one that has passed away "i won't stop calling your name, to continue to give life to your wish". The one alive is also trying to escape tears by creating an everlasting memory of the other person: "Let me cast my final spell, so your light may not know the darkness.
