I remember when I was little and I went to my first Renaissance Fair, and I sadly remember not enjoying it because i was little so I didn't really take an interest in it yet. I wish so so so much that i enjoyed it and made the best of my time because with the pandemic that's happening, all the large gatherings have been cancelled including the 2020 Renaissance Fair and I'm very disappointed about that. Though, one thing I *do* remember is that my dad bought me a bow, a quiver and a few arrows and I have managed to lose two of the five arrows he bought and break a chair. I would defiantly go back now if I could and properly enjoy the experience. Sorry if no one cares about this. i just wanted to share this, as i thought it was relevant... TwT
This is so similar to the Renaissance festival in Georgia, it's insane. It's like looking at an alternate version of the same performers, same buildings, same fences, etc.
oh my gosh that rendition of Hozier was SUCH a beautiful version, wow wow wow. So cool to see the easy atmosphere and that there's role playing craic to be had when you're on the look for it.
I've never been to a Ren Faire, but it looks like the embodiment of "let people enjoy things". Anything goes and everyone's just there to have fun and experience a bit of fantasy, it looks great.
I love this so much! I was having a rough week and this made me laugh more than I have for a while. Ren fair time is my favorite time of the year! Last year I dressed as one of my story characters, a half human/half dragon. This year I'm planning on being a pirate of some sort. Good job Mo Mo! You are so inspiring! Love you!
Awww mo mo! This is so good! I honestly trader up a bit and this was so beautiful. I understand why it takes you so long to create videos like this, and it so paid off! Also the music you composed, sang, amazing! You are so talented in everything you do. I love this mo mo, can’t wait for the next adventure
I love the NY ren fair! I go every year for my birthday and am going this weekend. You should go back again soon! It’s just one of the best places to go and be free of all worldly concerns and be true to yourself. Though I go every year I always find something new and exciting. I also would recommend the turkey burgers in the back area by the real restrooms and a bloody bee sting for a lovely adult beverage and then pop over and get the pumpkin donuts as those are warm fall goodness! Yum 😋
This really touched me MoMo, I love your vids, always have. I love your courage, creativity and most of all your inner child. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the world. I know you are or have been going through some very, very tough times, I also appreciate you sharing the valleys and not only the hills. Your joy and sorrow is truly inspiring. This experience in particular really brought me some inner tears (because crying is hard sometimes) and it has inspired me to get back into Larping. I have taken a break from it for more then seven years now but have a longing to get back to that place where your imagination can run free. Back to that place where you are surrounded by lovely, open and welcoming people. So thank you, I wish you all the best, lots of love, inner peace and many blessings on your journey through this mysterious thing called life. Much love from the Netherlands!

Having gone to the NYRF so many times throughout the late 80's and 90's (it's even where I met my wife!), I'm glad to see that not only is it still thriving, but has been made so much nicer. We still miss a lot of the older faire (and it had a lot less permanent buildings and more dirt paths), but thank you for bringing back some memories through your video! So glad you enjoyed it. :)

I lost it when I realized they were singing Hozier! It was so pretty!
17:15 MOMO'S VOICE IS SO DEEP HERE WOW I WASN'T EXPECTING IT

Hi, I am Caden and I actually work at NYRF. I know most of the people included in the video aswell. My good friend gabby is at the queens treats booth that was telling you the company name. I also don't know if you went into the dragon orphanage but that is where I work and I think I remember you coming. I love how you say that it is such a casual atmosphere and we try and keep it that way. I hav been going their from the time I was born and I am thirteen now. I am glad you had fun but to keep it that way just don't work at one. The behind the scenes are kept hidden for reasons but a lot of the behind the scenes are really nice like the cast dinner that happens once ever weekend. They also have a gym and free bagels for the cast and their is some nice biking trails to. I hope you come hack if covid is done being covid. P.S the turkey legs aren't that good, if you want good ones go to ny capital district ren fair because they have the best and also my aunt owns that fair. Bye!!!
Hail and well met, Fellow Faire performer!
Super excited for the capital district Renn Faire, I’m going next weekend!
Is it good to work at the ren faire? Is it like a non toxic safe job for teens?
I thought you were cosplaying Rapunzel after her hair was cut, lol, you would be such an adorable princess
Mo Mo just makes me want to travel with her adventures, she's like a more popular me with her adventures, character creation, asthetic, personality, and her imagination, I just adore her!
Anyone else doing a Ren Faire late night video binge just cause you miss it so much
No but this was in my recommendations and looked very interesting.
P.s. Ive never been to a Ren Faire/those type of fairs(festivals) that have even merpeople(so to speak hehe) and medieval stuffs(Im absolutely obssessed with medieval stuffs and dragons)
Yes but two years later a month before my local renn fair.
@@warbler8941 I finally was able to go to one again
I’m getting hyped to go to my first one. 😊
@@catlover2223 ahhh! Have fun
I first watched this video last year during the height of the pandemic longing for a return to my ren life. After a year of ren faire absence, I'm super excited to be going back to a ren faire in a few weeks. Been watching a bunch of ren videos to really get me back in the mood, and I'm glad I got to watch this one again! Thanks again for posting this, I need it!
This is such a comfort video, I come back to watch it on a pretty regular basis
I appreciate and take pride in that. Thank you.
Question: I know it’s spelled “Holy Clothing” but is it pronounced like “holy” as in holy scriptures or “holly” as in have a holly jolly Christmas?
Holy like have a holly jolly Christmas o
Holly jolly xmas
Cool, thank you :D I wasn't sure if the company was actually called that or if Mo Mo accidentally misread it, so thanks!
She said it near the start :)
I absolutely wondered the same - cause it definitely seems like it should be "holy". XD
I love the elven sleeves on the Green elf! Super prettyyyyy
I was an actress at the Virginia ren fair and this makes me miss it so much!
How does one get into that?
The cover of “Like Real People Do” was SO beautiful 😭
I’ve been trying to figure out what that song was for 20 mins THANK YOU 😭
When everyone started larping my heart nearly exploded
"Because Im a effing nerd" is a Big Mood lmao. Amazing video as always!
I know it hasn't started yes but this is the ren faire I grew up going to cause it's just so amazing. Also it was the closest
Did I watch this early on Patreon? Absolutely. Am I going to watch it again here? ABSOLUTELY
(Also that Hozier cover is FANTASTIC)
I struggle with depression and your content always makes me feel cheery and relaxed. Thank you Mo ❤️
I can’t believe I didn’t realize that the TikToker that I followed was the same RUclipsr that made me want to do a larp like oh my gods
Same, I recognized the lady knight in the beginning and I was like “oh that’s the TikTok lady knight!” And then I was like “oh this is the same TikToker!!”
I've always felt so out of place and strange for having the interests that I do and ur videos feel so validating and they bring me great comfort. Thank u so much
Why do I torture myself watching all these larp videos knowing that I won't be able to do so in such long time?
Because I like it.
Grew up going to the New York faire. It holds a very special place in my heart ❤️ Now that I’ve moved to Texas I go to TRF and the Sherwood Forest faire every year and I LOVE them but I do miss where my love for faire all started. I enjoyed your video so much! Thank you for uploading a little piece of home that holds many memories ☺️ Another great video!
Sasha Luna i grew up on TRF and just started going to Sherwood last year- I love the Texas ren faire community so much!!
I work the joust at Sherwood! Woohoo Texas faires! (Scarborough is my home-base-faire)
I’m hoping to start going to renaissance fairs now that I can actually afford it, so if I may.. where are those? I’m trying to find ones near me
@@girlwithamic8021 I don't know where the others are but I know that Scarborough is in waxahachie! That's the one I've gone to since childhood
Every time I wanna get hyped for the Renaissance festival I watch this video ❤
10:43 I don't understand how that sight is even physically possible, but i am thankful to live in a world where this beautiful medieval cat ear lady exists.
She crossed the wrong enchantress.
Nope, that was terrible, and if she had friends, they would have told her to fix that terrible corset boob mess 🤢🤮
What a wonderful lady she is indeed.. Bless her.. heart.
This was lovely, Momo. I miss Ren Faire now! I grew up working at Faires as an actor and vendor and this made me remember why. ❤️
"I do bid you thee to give the pennies back to the penny-counter... without pennies how is he expected to count?"
17:42 I was like I THAT'S MY FAVE SONG OMG YASSSSS if you haven't heard it it's Like Real People Do by Hozier soooo good
THANK YOU! I was looking for this comment!
medieval dresses with pockets!? I'm sold!
if my friends say: Lets hang out, and they dont mean THIS kind of activity i dont even want to be friends with them
Nyamkers you called?
I'm those friends. My friend converted me 💀
I live in NY and was there several times. Wish I could have met ya!!
It's cool you can hang out with me.
I live in NY too, but I've only ever been to the Stirling Ren Faire, where is this one?

MO MO SINGING HOZIER IS EVERYTHING I'VE EVER NEEDED IN MY LIFE I COULD DIE HAPPY 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
That Rélampago Friend Ship magic still going strong
TwT
I seriously cant stop watching this video, it’s like the 7th time I’ve watched this.
This is so similar to the Renaissance festival in Georgia, it's insane. It's like looking at an alternate version of the same performers, same buildings, same fences, etc.
Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that!
YES, ABSOLUTELY! The jousting area, the entrance, the shops! It looks incredibly similar! Very "deja vu" for me watching this!
I think some of the performers travel, so they might be the same people!
Excited to see what changed from the patreon version!
oh my gosh that rendition of Hozier was SUCH a beautiful version, wow wow wow. So cool to see the easy atmosphere and that there's role playing craic to be had when you're on the look for it.

Me
I've never been to a Ren Faire, but it looks like the embodiment of "let people enjoy things".
Love you!
This is so beautiful I’m crying the music and everything omg
I WANT TO SEE THIS BUT IM ONMY WAY TO A TENNIS MATCHHHHH
I hope I can see it when it premieressssss
I hope the match went well
🎾🎾
Bvaddie :c I won the first set!! 😊
I lost the others because I need to work on my serving though lol

You are living my dream. I cried at the end. The mood there seems so good and beautiful. Just everyone being what they want to be
LARPer: exists*
Every other LARPer in a 10 mile radius: MYCALLLING-
Awww mo mo! This is so good! I honestly trader up a bit and this was so beautiful. I understand why it takes you so long to create videos like this, and it so paid off! Also the music you composed, sang, amazing! You are so talented in everything you do. I love this mo mo, can’t wait for the next adventure
The fact i met her... wow she's still as awesome as always
This makes me miss Faire so much 🥺 I have to go back when it opens again this summer
I don't know how many times I've watched this video. I'm not even to LARP, cosplay or whatever it just appeared in my recommended videos one day. It is such a load of posivite energy and vibes, it's like a remedy for me in these fucked up covid times. Sitting on home office for a year now, and videos like this keep me sane. You sing beautifully btw. Cheers from Poland.
"People are often surprised by this because I am a (Fluffing) Nerd" I love this line so much because it's me in a nutshell.
Oh my, when Hozier and Chocolate started to play... you guys are the best ❤
Wow, how is your makeup so freaking good? All day and it is still on point.
False lashes 😂 this was one of the last times I wore them all day
I’m so glad you’re back, I missed you and your content so much! You look so healthy and happy! As a viewer that makes me happy! Welcome back girl! ✨✨✨
I very much feel the
"Will you talk?"
"But I'm shy"
BRUH I WENT TO THE SAME REN FAIRE IN 2018 IT WAS SO SICK!!!!!!!
this is my absolute comfort video i cant count how may times i have watched it thank you so much momo
This is my favorite video to watch before I go to this faire. My friends and I have gone two years in a row and I'm watching this again, preparing for year three! Love your content!
”Yeah I don’t know if the lore is that deep“
The Ren Fest is SO FUN! It's such a positive, welcoming atmosphere where everyone is SO NICE. This looks exactly like the Maryland Renaissance Festival, which makes me wonder if they're owned by the same people, or if there's some company that designs/builds Ren Fests🤔
America: when you dont have medieval history, just make it up :D
We have these faires in Australia and we just base it off of English Medieval culture.
SHHH YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO EXPOSE THE SECRETS-
Lol so very true
Uhh. You do realize we came from Europe and the UK right? Medieval history is as much ours as anyone else's.
@@paulchilders9969 You don't get what he's implying; nothing about this faire is realistic, it's all fantasy elements, like a fairytale faire. Not an actual representation of the renaissance nor the medieval era, in any part of the world. Not that i want to shit on it, do what you want, but it's a bit weird to call it a renaissance faire when it has nothing to do with the renaissance :)
Looks awesome and the dresses are all pretty
Thank you for sharing.
Love Renaissance Faire. Been 2x, back home in Minnesota.
Fabulous Time!!
Thank you again!!
Momo, I just want to tell you, your videos are so amazing to watch. You introduced me to a realm of hobbies that I had never heard of and am now determined to become involved in as soon as I am able, and until then, I live vicariously through you. It's like, I feel at home, watching your videos. You really convey the atmosphere really well 😁
RUclips recommended this video to me and I dead ass have no idea, hear me out. I don't watch this sort of content or anything similar so I don't know the connection but this made me so happy. Reminds me of the people and places I grew up with and you guys are so genuine. Definitely going to stick around for more
New York ren faire is my favorite ren faire, I go every year! Also I love the little elan pottery plug, that is my favorite stall at this faire and my home faire (Scarborough faire)! You also have to make sure to see cirque du sewer next time!
I've been obsessively thinking about Ren Faires this month 💕💕
I've been watching this repeatedly over the last couple days. Miss this atmosphere so much!
