- I looked at how unturned II (4.0) has progressed through the years. Now that 2021 has came we looked at how far Unturned II has came. Everything from zombie turning survivors to dual wielding pistols, we look at everything Unturned II has to offer so far in January of 2021.

It would be cool if you could repair a downed drone with a lot of materials and a really high engineering skill level, and it would be manually controllable, and when you are controlling it, it would center the camera on the drone and put a film grain effect on the view. The drone would be fully charged when you first repair it, but the charge would slowly deplete with use, and eventually the drone would run out of charge, and if it was in the air it would fall. It could be recharged with a car battery.
Nelson recently did a interview where he said it would be cool to be able to craft weaker drones, but also be able to hack drones in the world.

Star Citizen is a big and complex game that is being developed only 5 years, I never understood why everyone keeps complaining about Star Citizen being that has games that take 9 to 13 years to get out.
Its 1 guy developing it and to be frank Unturned is doing quite well so Unturned 2 is not something the dev is going to rush into releasing. Also he is using Unturned 2 as a testing ground for all the experiments not possible in normal unturned.
In reality he is working on 2 games at once so that is honestly the biggest factor.

I've been a gold member of Unturned since day one, and I haven't played in years other than to check out a new map for a few mins. I wouldn't say it's doing well by steam charts standards. if they focused on Unturned 2 with the mew engine (Unreal 4) they stand to do so much better, since UE4 is such a fairly easy engine to work with, they would get a lot of benifits and many technical issues that comes with unity engine would be resolved thus leading to a rise in the player base.*

But I do agree it doesn't seem like they've progressed that much since we first heard of development on Unturned 2; whether thats because they're focused on unturned 1 or just doing their own things in life. who knows

Unturned one is in unity he can’t just keep working on unturned in unreal that’s why The graphics look better because it’s a better engine to use but he can’t just pull over unturned if he wants to make the game better he has to upgrade
