I swear this channel is worth more than the money spent for 2.5 years of business college classes.. Priceless information and Its all spot on. I'm only 20 years old and ran a $92,000 painting business last summer. Just dropped out and am getting into real estate now. The things i've learned on your channel definitely contributed to my success so far and will continue to throughout my life. Thank you!
You are the best entrepreneur I have ever seen. I see that we have a lot in common in the mindset, it's like we speak the same language! You are awesome Patrick! You are such an inspiration! Keep up the good work!
Love this guy. I finished a MBA program and he provides the real deal in terms of necessity information concerning running a business. It's the mind set that makes the difference in anything and he teaches people how to think.
You got lucky... That is true, a lot of top business people/coaches will tell you that "luck" does play a role, but as Garry Player used to say: "Golf is 1% skill and 99% luck, but the harder you work, the luckier you tend to get."
This was my second time watching this video- it’s so trippy when you read books, actually go through starting a corporation, and then watch this video again- it hits different!! Already heard half those things from my family and people we tried to recruit. Started cold recruiting rather than warm because everyone is jealous! Loved this Pat- don’t ever stop making these!!
Thank you very much for your videos! I'm a young artist and a good looking too and I got tired of listening to other people even family that I should go out dating and that they're worried about me and there is something wrong with me working all the time.....it's just sickening, I've heard all the criticisms from this list and even more. Why is it so hard to understand that there are people with drive who desire more than the usual?
People will criticize you, but you have to keep going, you'll get discouraged if you set a goal and continually not achieve it, work from purpose to keep the fire inside you burning, humiliation can crush a person if they let it, if you want money now then you're destined to fail find a way to delay gratification, the judgement of family especially about your work life balance, Obsession is part of it so surround yourself with those who support you so they won't crush your goals, most people are going to judge and say negative things shut it out
All of these points speak to me. When I started my journey my mother said all those things. Telling me that I became super cocky and that I'm just doing this for the money. Thinking that I'm better than everyone else. But in reality it was the exact opposite. I knew that this was the right thing to do so I kept going.
I was working in a startup and today the founder of the startup told us we don't have enough money to keep going forward. It's hard to see the founder working so hard yet still fail. Give me more reasons to open my own startup and prove that entrepreneur can make it in my country!
dude your commercial rocks! I found you yesterday looking for inspiration. and mannnnn your videos are helping me get through the "I wanna quit, but quitting is for quitters, and I don't quit" attitude. Thank you!
I've made this video as my favourite video. everytime I almost giveup (not giveup, I mean desperate) I hit up this video again, thankyou patrick for the time you put in to make a video like this even though you get nothing at all. God Bless Pat
I've been an entrepreneur for years now and i genuinely believe that other types of people are jealous of entrepreneurs. they want the lifestyle and the perceived excitement and money for lack of work. but really the critics don't have any idea what's going on. they just want to hold you back, even if only subconsciously.
What an amazing video and RUclips channel! Suddenly I'm not alone anymore. It's like having a mentor! Thank you so much! The only thing I missed is to be competitive. I'm more like playing with different rules and create my own game. Not sure if it's the best way, but I always struggled with the "supposed way" of doing things..
I love this video. I've heard some of these criticisms almost word for word, and even though when I think critically about them I know they're unfounded, it can still make you question yourself. It helps to know other people hear them as well.
Holly gained humility, and she told that story to the world. This is part of learning who we really are. Rocky III tells this story perfectly, the story of self-realization.
Thank you for this life changing messages. I am truly growing from listening to these profound teachings. I try diligently to ignore the naysayers, but at times the struggle is tough and so I might wonder and sometimes thoughts pop n my head that try to define me but then I learned that sometimes you to take space away from some folks who aren't connecting or aren't supporting your dream. I guess it must be a time to just hibernate...thank you again Robin
People who dish out these criticisms are either truly "don't get it" (that they are the "drones", the *WALKING DEAD*), or are envious (of the spirit, the ability to not succumbing to the ordinary and mediocrity.) Or they are *BOTH*.
Love how you improvised off of ur mistake haha Man Pat, you have no idea how hard this hit me..Everything you mentioned im going through. Thanks for the great content brother
+ynoter It's better to anticipate what's happening than think you're the only one going through it. You may want to watch the video "how to stay focused as an entrepreneur".
THANKYOU ,VERY VERY MUCH PAT ,YOU NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME . I KNOW YOU MIGHT NOT READ THIS COMMENT BUT I ALWAYS GET MOVED BY YOUR VIDEO AND GIVE TIME TO EMBRACE IT AS YOU ARE DOING GREAT JOB FOR US BY PUTTING OUT VALUED VIDEO WHY CAN'T WE EVEN APPRECIATE IT KEEP GOING ,GOD BLESS
I love your why Mr. David. There is a great interview with Dame Dash where he says he's an entrepreneur for his last name not his first name. It seems successful people always equate their success to value they bring to others rather than their own self interest.
So this video brought a smile to my face. I typically have strong, natural, and accurate intuition. I just witnessed YOUR redemption video... Congratulations! When you closed with the "You got LUCKY" statement it was clear to me that "LUCKY" is defined by: You worked your ass off, made tremendous sacrifices, stayed true to yourself and your goals, faced adversity, and had the joy of posting this awesome video online as a result of your success. The cherry on top is that you're sharing all of your secrets openly to selflessly help others so they may avoid some potential pitfalls. Way to go Pat! You're an inspiration to entrepreneurs around the globe. Great work and again, I salute you!
Luck is a crossroads between opportunity and preparation. Without one or the other, you will rarely ever see luck. Even when a person gets an inheritance or wins the lottery, without preparation in the form of financial discipline, knowledge of investing, etc, they will wind up broke again in no time! Luck could be defined as "being in the right place at the right time". Sitting at home all day, doing nothing, is not providing many (if any at all) opportunities to be lucky. Unless you are an internet marketer, ebay seller, e-retailer, etc. Hard work and going out into the world is where you will get lucky! :)
PATRICK you are great, i can identify mylself with every single subject you talk about, you are the real thing, Entrepreneurship IS the way to go , im on the right track and my sacrifices are starting to pay off , GOOD JOB, you are the real Deal
It was very interesting to see the story of Ronda Rousey, in the end she got what she subconciously predicted. And yes, welcome to the world of entrepreneurship where criticism happens at the highest level, and the more we move up the more of it we should expect.
I just subscribed to this channel and I am extremely picky. I spend a lot of time on RUclips and have subscribed only 4 chennels. Love to watch your great content and I write down everything. Thank you for your efforts ☺
Awesome video. I have a lot of respect to u Sir PATRICK and You have mentored me a lot. I wish i had a mentor from few years. I want to tell my story Pat....I am a 20 year old guy and i started investing at the age of 16, i used to buy bluetooths on weekends and sell at a profit rate of 10%, i kept doing this and made around $750 in profits in 3 months and when my friends came to know about this my friends were jealous and started criticizing me and even they broke some of my bluetooths, I initially felt bad and i even entered a network marketing business by investing $500(in which i didn't even make any money) and i faced a lots and lots of criticism and i had to shut down that. Due to the criticisms i felt devastated, if i had this video at that time, i would've re started my business again instantly.....but the lessons life teaches is valuable...6 months before i started a Business which i bought 100 tshirts for $200 and i sold them at a double rate at another place and people are happily giving the rate at double price. I sell around 20 to 25 t shirts in a week and keep doing it by going house to house and i am happy doing this even though i face a lot of criticism. I'm sorry that i wrote so long. Just wanted to tell my story to u and wanted to show some love and respect to PAT... :)
Hey Patrick,You have some great powerful messages. I would like to comment on the word "Lucky". I do not know who defined it this way but it is a great definition. Luck is the point where preparation meets opportunity. Therefore if you sit at home eating donuts all day long and you are not out there making connections and learning, when an opportunity presents you most likely will not be in a position to act on it because you will not have been prepared. Thanks for all your wisdom,Stephan
WoW! Great content. Just found this channel and its packed full of value. Literally every minute brings learning points, absolutely no fluff. So good I just purchased "The Impossible" book after watching just two videos.

Another thing are your emotions and body langauge, even when you seat it is easier to understand, and 20 minutes video is not boring. Good job, thanks. but your ears - they are distracting ;)
Always remember his 10 why's of not giving up. It's officially my Bible for now. There are so many times we want to quit, want to just leave it be because we gave ourselves reasons, because people tell us to, because it feels like the whole world against you. There's only one person that believes in you during a hard time. "YOU". It's definitely easy to say but there are moments you will have to make that decision and stand up for yourself. Screw the world, it's not about your friends or family, it's about you now. Your one man show, to please the one and only audience, You. If you are doing a great job, keep going I will cheer for you. If not, don't give up! Don't feel the world is crushing on you, there are always people rooting for you. Don't ever forget that.
+VALUETAINMENT Guatemala City. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago, awesome videos! I just started working on my first startup and your advice has been very helpful.
I wish I had found your channel earlier, your videos are always on point! Maybe it is the whole 'growing up in California' thing, but I couldn't help laughing when you mentioned 40s of Mickey's. Made me a little nostalgic thinking about it ha ha. Then the part about people talking about an unbalanced life, and how the people telling you that are the ones watching 40 hours of TV a week! Truer words have never been spoken lol. I used to be the one watching TV nonstop. One day I woke up, realized that sitting and doing nothing all day might be the reason (lol 'might') I felt like a loser/failure all the time. To be 100% honest, I now watch a lot of RUclips videos. BUT, I am usually doing something while watching them, like researching the raw materials I need to put my product on the market, or reaching out to my potential customers, or watching funny mofos like yourself tell it like it is! I have a question for you though, purely out of curiosity... After reaching a certain level of success, how did your pursuit of knowledge change? I mean, I know books are still a huge part of how you, personally, learn new things. But did you start studying different types of things, or different types of people, or has there been any appreciable difference in the amount or type of information you consume? I know that might sound like a weird question, but those are usually the best kind ;) Thanks Patrick, keep up the awesome work! -E

Love this guy. I finished a MBA program and he provides the real deal in terms of necessity information concerning running a business. It's the mind set that makes the difference in anything and he teaches people how to think.
Lucky is such an offensive word. It's dismissive and condescending. Winning the lottery is being Lucky. Being Successful of off hardwork is not Lucky.
i wanna slap a person square across the face when they call me lucky. "You only get what you deserve in life" Luck is maybe 1%
Besides all that hard work, there is some luck. The time you were born for example..
@@IEntrepreneur97 Whats the evidence to support this claim?
You got lucky... That is true, a lot of top business people/coaches will tell you that "luck" does play a role, but as Garry Player used to say:

I think what people consider "taking it easy" is actually winging life.
Great advice, agree with everything you said. Entrepreneurship is all about innovating and actively listening to the customer.
+Frank yes it is. Thanks Frank.

This one needs a favourite button! Entrepreneurship is certainly a worthy mindset.
