Greatest ending to a metal record ever? God damn this song is sick. It's my favorite on this album, but man, this record has so many bad ass songs to choose from.
I’d say the title track from The Crusade is their best closing song, but yet again, I might be biased because it’s my favorite song the band has ever released.
Either this or Beyond Oblivion is my favorite song off the album, but this is easily their heaviest song in their entire catalogue and the darker tone for me is just perfect. But as heavy as it is, it's still really melodic and catchy. Quite possibly my favorite they've ever written, actually.
Definitely my 2nd favourite album after shogun. It blew away all the others including ascendancy which I honestly didn't expect it to. This album just shows us how much trivium's sound has matured in all these years and integrated all of that into this amazing album. Really loved it. Great work Trivium
Happy with the album. I expected to be let down, not gonna lie. But i really did enjoy this record. And Ive only heard it 2 or 3 times in its entirety so far. Seems to me to replay value of this album is gona be high. Potential to be in the top 3 albums theyve made imo. #1 being ascendancy and # 2 shogun of course.

1. The Sin and the Sentence 2. In Waves 3. Vengeance Falls 4. Silence in the Snow 5. Shogun 6. The Crusade 7. Ascendancy 8. Ember to Inferno This is from an atypical Trivium fan who was never truly into Shogun or Ascendancy.
Wade King 👑 wow I'm totally with you here. I think TSTS is a modern metal masterpiece and will stand the test of time. Ive never heard a band bland so many styles together in such huge value, production and skill. I can hear some meshuggah, some slipknot, some Kreator, some Deafheaven, some Behemoth especially Thrown into fire. Some Beartooth, parkway drive. This is a record for every metal fan, epic really epic. Never before I think a band blended death metal, metal core, and black metal, thrash metal and some nu metal in this variety. I'm still mindblown and I've heard the album at least 8 times now.
Cool list, bro. Mine is a little different: 1. The Sin and the Sentence 2. Vengeance Falls 3. Ascendancy 4. In Waves 5. Shogun 6. The Crusade 7. Silence in the Snow 8. Ember to Inferno
I love the way you react to these. Very authentic and relatable. Mainly because my reactions were on a similar level to yours. Especially the ones for Betrayer, Beyond Oblivion and this one
Ranked Trivium albums: 1. Shogun 2. Ascendancy 3. The Sin And The Sentence 4. Ember To Inferno 5. The Crusade 6. In Waves 7. Vengeance Falls 8. Silence In The Snow
1. The Sin and the Sentence 2. Shogun 3. Ascendancy 4. In Waves 5. Vengeance Falls 6. Ember to Inferno 7. Silence in the Snow 8. The Crusade Just my opinion though ;)
The Metalhead Cowboys Fan Oh I'm not speaking negatively about it. Crusade is still an 80/100 album for me. In my opinion it just has some songs in the that feel like filler (most of the first half and The Rising). It still has some badass songs though. Becoming the Dragon, To the Rats, And Sadness Will Sear, etc. I love Trivium. They haven't truly let me down yet. Silence in the Snow was disappointing, but for what it is, its not bad. Especially once you add in the bonus tracks. Take out Rise Above the Tides and Beneath the Sun and replace them with Cease All Your Fire and The Darkness of Your Mind and you've got a solid record
All your reactions were great Chainsaw! I would love to hear your thoughts on the album maybe a couple of weeks from now, and what your favorite song is. Of course the ultimate question is: Do you think the album is as good as Shogun??
Man I watched your Trivium reactions it was cool, then I tried to see do you have reaction on Parkway Drive and didn't find anything.... do you know the band if not check it out if you do any thoughts?
This song is heavy yes. And it's a perfect way to end a masterpiece album. I like this song but not one of my favorites on this record. Not good as Beyond Oblivion, Beauty in the Sorrow, Heart From Your Hate, Revanchist or the title track. Not even close.
Listened to this song like 20 times and still can't get over the trem picking over the heavy "can you bless us" part... so damn good
I agree. That part is amazing.
It's so Black metal I love it.
The bass in this song is fucking epic
You're goddamn right
TSATS sits right up with Shogun and Ascendancy, they are easily the top 3 records they have ever done.
THIS
this is correct
Can’t be any more true
Greatest ending to a metal record ever? God damn this song is sick. It's my favorite on this album, but man, this record has so many bad ass songs to choose from.
nah, but thrown into the fire comes close to shogun's shogun as the best trivium album ending song
Greatest ending _ever_ is probably a stretch but it's an insane song without a doubt
itskatta Shogun is their best Album ender.
But this is a very solid second.
Friggggggin love this song, but Shogun is a masterpiece
It's like a three way tie between this, ascendancy, and shogun for me. But hey, anyone who's a fan of either of these is a friend of mine :D
I’d say the title track from The Crusade is their best closing song, but yet again, I might be biased because it’s my favorite song the band has ever released.
A perfect way to end a great album
Bryce Stluka honestly i don’t really like this song
Simon really? This song is a masterpiece.
This song fookin rips.
Either this or Beyond Oblivion is my favorite song off the album, but this is easily their heaviest song in their entire catalogue and the darker tone for me is just perfect. But as heavy as it is, it's still really melodic and catchy. Quite possibly my favorite they've ever written, actually.
Michael Yates personally think that either Chaos Reigns or Dusk Dismantled are their heaviest ones
Tobi-Navu Storm or Demon from Ember to Inferno
Best song Trivium has written since Shogun, it is so fucking brutal and epic...an instant favourite for myself!
Definitely my 2nd favourite album after shogun. It blew away all the others including ascendancy which I honestly didn't expect it to. This album just shows us how much trivium's sound has matured in all these years and integrated all of that into this amazing album. Really loved it. Great work Trivium
I love this track, maybe my favorite from Trivium and il love this band. I don't know why but this track has some Behemoth feelings for me. Great 😍
Patrick Rockatansky tbh this and endless night are my least favorites😬
There's still a 12th song dude, just the japanese people still haven't uploaded it yet. Get yourself ready for the real final track !
Not an Ember to Inferno fan, but I actually liked Pillars of Serpents and can't wait for the remake.
there is a 12th song?
Yes, in the japanese edition.
Miscellany dang so im guessing it wont be on spotify huh
If you're not an Ember to Inferno fan then you're not a real fan.
I still go back to your TSATS reactions every now and then to see the absolute joy in your face seeing the return of this kind of Trivium!
"Sweet Baby Jesus!" Epic! haha!
Great album! You can certainly tell the new drummer adds a new dynamic to the band.
Happy with the album. I expected to be let down, not gonna lie. But i really did enjoy this record. And Ive only heard it 2 or 3 times in its entirety so far. Pillars of Serpents 17' is next
Juan Rodriguez any chance you have a link for that? I haven't been able to find it yet
Mister Bolticus I'm in the same boat, waiting for our Japanese brethren to upload
Juan Rodriguez I'm genuinely considering just getting the Japanese version shipped to me lol
Mister Bolticus you're not the only one. Everyone on Reddit is either waiting or considering buying it from over seas
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssss
The best song of the album ! Pure talent
Joël Vincent this and endless night are my least favorites tbh
Joël Vincent personally I think betrayer is the best song on this album. My opinion though 😋
@@Simon-co6uo didn't like this song at all at first then after like 2 months it became one of my favorites off this album
One of if not 'the' greatest album closer trivium has ever written
For me it's 2nd. Shogun is too good of a final song.
@@nightraven2975 I mean, I can't deny that 😂 that entire album is straight fire
Declaration is a banger
"this is a heavy fucker" quote of the day
This is how you end a fucking record imo
Cryptic Spirits The last good album ender from them was Shogun.
Forgive me father

The "please don't end!" is so great lol. Like, that's how you know you're into a song, when you just don't want it to end XD
Pillars of serpents next
Perfect song to end on.
2 dislikes from travis and nick
XpSAN lmao, this new guy kicks ass

You ended yesterday on a high note with The Wretchedness Inside and today with Thrown Into The Fire. :)
That's how u end an album!!!!
Best song on the album and arguably best rock/metal song of 2017 so far. Hellfire.

Evil Toad on Crusade i like: This World Can't Tear Us Apart, Ignition, and Unrepentant
fuck this song is a masterpiece! been waiting years for trivium to go balls out again! now make an entire album with this intensity!
If you had to pick one of the songs as your favourite witch one would in be excluding endless night.
Awesome album. I love it.
so good
I love the reaction I felt the same way
Luv this song
The heaviest part of song reminds me Embers of a diyng world by Mors Principium Est from Finland.
Could you listen Masquerade song of it and react?
Trivium dropped a music video for “Thrown Into The Fire”. 😎
"Guitar solos out the ass" xD YES
All your reactions were great Chainsaw! I would love to hear your thoughts on the album maybe a couple of weeks from now, and what your favorite song is. Of course the ultimate question is: Do you think the album is as good as Shogun??
Dani __ it will be awhile before I could answer that
Chainsaw Reacts Yeah, like you said, a lot to digest in this album. I feel like it would be hard to choose one or the other
Damn, its like the way Hardwired ended.....HEavy As Fuck!
Man I watched your Trivium reactions it was cool, then I tried to see do you have reaction on Parkway Drive and didn't find anything.... do you know the band if not check it out if you do any thoughts?
