Yes Tank, you beast! One of the, if not the most underrated band right now. Tracks such as “Remain unbeaten” , “Keep your distance”’, “Self supremacy” & “the other side” are unique from one another. These 4 will get you going nicely. 🔥
Daaaaamn... I've been listening to their previous albums for the past few days. This band is something man. It sounds very recognizable, but fresh too. My colleagues probably disagree (wimps, all of 'em). Preordered this one too. Thanks for another great introduction. This year is starting out strong!
Been a fan of them since their very first album. Its been such a journey watching these guys just get better and better. So stoked to see so many more people finding out about them.
I'm super stoked for this one. So glad you checked these guys out man. My favorite band. Self Supremacy is a banger of an album. Groovy riffs and crazy drums front to back. Reign Of Suffering is older, but good too. Their EP has a few good songs on it too. Super stoked for the new album. Fun fact: A band I used to be in had Alex from Malevolence do guest vocals in one of our songs!
I doubt u read comments on videos this old, but thank you. Malevolence is one of my favorites in the hardcore scene. You were just vibing with it and I love that, thank you
Holy shit that was good, definitely felt a Hatebreed influence, as I was heavily into them for a long while around their Rise of Brutality and Perserverance era. PS….very nice touch with the Throwdown “This Continuum” in the background at the end of the video, LOVE that song and that entire Deathless album
This Band is one of my favourites since a few years, and they are really something special! Nice to see on the Thumbnail you have fun to react to them! :) Greetings from Germany!✌🏻
I was at that show for the video shoot in Sheffield. They played the song 3 times to get the content for the video. It was absolutely great! Great band ❤️
I too had seen this band's name around in various discussions but never got around to checking them out. I'm glad you brought them to my attention Tank because they're definitely killing it. Off to check out their other stuff!
Hey Tank, just wanted to drop this to ya: I absolutely appreciate the attention to detail and all the extra work that goes into your editing! Just minor things like e.g. pulling down the volume of the music when you have something to say, makes it just a very smooth watch. Sehr nice in der Tat! 😌👌🏿
Not sure how I ,missed your reaction video to this one. Fell in love with it the first time I heard it on Liquid Metal. I hear some of the influences you spoke of but I will throw in a Kirk Weinstein-sound to the vocals. The song itself reminded me of the band Throwdown a lot. I wish they were still doing music. They put out some really kick ass material in the earlier 2Ks.
Yeah they do, personally I think they should back off of that a touch, New Orleans sludgy vocals from a band in Sheffield England seems like abit forced and a rip off, other than that there a sick band, not hating on them, infact going to see them tomorrow
Another great one brother…you made a big difference in hearing music to actually LISTENING to music with me. I listen for leads, drum fills, vocal layering, tracks, etc. that I never used to before. On this video, the filming brought me back to old hardcore shows in skateparks lol. Side note, you brought up Hatebreed…my first show ever playing on a little half pipe in Bristol,CT when the just got signed by Victory (shows my age lol)
This is my second time watching this (I watched it a year ago when you posted it) and I just realized you have Throwdown playing in the background towards the end there...that album (Deathless) is so unbelievably underrated it makes me sick that they're not octanecore at this point lol I have that album on each of my phones and it's so timeless and so good...I wish they marketed that album with even a single music video because it's a banger.
My very same reaction. Seen the name around and then gave em a listen. Blown away by their musicianship. Great vocals, amazing riffs and the perfect balance of heavy and melodic. Sick band
YESSS TANK! So happy you've checked these boys out! I was lucky enough to be at the shoot, it was INSANE! These guys have a great combination of styles going on! Talent! Top man! 🤟🏻🇬🇧🤟🏻
Holy shit, man! I had heard of these guys before in my circle, but gave them a try. Way to sell me on another one! This was hard as steel. Fucking aye!
Recently found a band called Deserted Fear. They released a music video Follow the Light that Blinds. They're labeled as a straight up death metal band but they definitely use melo death aspects in Follow the Light that Blinds.
No complaints here, I even see a bass player back there! That lefty guitar player has some savage riffs going on, to me its very different to other "hardcore" bands, definitely gonna keep an eye on this band...great reaction as usual!
Just saw them as warm up for While She Sleeps and although it was loud for me, I felt like I would have liked it a lot if I knew some songs. A few days later and I'm pretty sure 70% of what I've been listening to are these guys :D
Malevolence is one of the most exciting bands of the last years. So heavy in a classic way, so versataile. You REALLY have to check out their song "The Other Side". That song is my favorite song since over a year now and i got goosebumps every time again i listen to it. And Konan is just a pure beast with his very unique vocals.
As soon as the Song started, I had a flashback back into the time of Pantera, Sepultura, etc. The voice of the guitar player reminds me of another singer/band, but in the moment my brain is still in the past [:=
They are from Shefield UK, which is in Yorkshire. Been following them since about 2017 when they weren't really on alot of radars. Only the Brit scene back then. They've really taken off
I've seen them yesterday as opening act for lamb of god in Nuremberg they killed it. Plus it did sound way better than in the video... So if you have the chance go to their tour!
I have a suggestion for a Reaction. SiM with The Rumbling. This is a Japanese metalcore band that sings English and the song was released only five days ago. Very cool song and a recommendation from me
If you liked that band I think you will definitely love the band backstabbed with their song I won't forget. They're very close friends of mine and their songs freaking SLAP.
When I heard the song I was like "that's not the Malevolence I know, those Malevolence who summoned a monster" ..... yeah it's a newer band with the same name. I hate this kind of thing happening, but their sound is great
Hey dude, I know you’ve covered them before, but you need to check out A Depth That No One Dares by Bleed From Within. No need for a reaction since there’s no music video or anything, but I’d love to hear your take at the ending of the song when everything goes insane
Duuude Malevolence slaps. Hard. Check out Keep Your Distance (feat Bryan from Knocked Loose) or Self Supremacy! Absolute bangers with incredible riffs. My favourite is probably The Other Side though, it's their take on a ballad (still fuckin slaps though). Would love to see your reactions to more Malevolence!
Not really my cup of tea but my friend from high school would love this. He toured with an emocore band for a while called Written in Red and the last band we saw together was Beloved at their reunion show in Winston-Salem last fall.
I hate to take away from the band, I fucking love Malevolence and this track, but I was curious if you've ever considered doing a video for Every Time I Die? They've been such a staple in the metalcore scene for 20+ years and would love to see them get some more attention.
ETID is one of my favorite bands of all time, and unfortunately, there's nothing really for me to do a "reaction" to because I've heard it all so many times. Hahaha.
Hello Tank, could you react to "Agathodaimon - Tristetea Vehementa (Band Playthrough)" It's the recorded version from the album "Blacken the Angel" in 1998 Greetings from germany and have a nice day in these times!
THANK GOD Malevolence are getting the recognition they deserve. Amazing. The boys are doing bits! "The Other Side" is a must listen.
Yes Tank, you beast! One of the, if not the most underrated band right now. Tracks such as “Remain unbeaten” , “Keep your distance”’, “Self supremacy” & “the other side” are unique from one another. These 4 will get you going nicely. 🔥
You missed Turn To Stone by these guys.
THE. MOST.
that's the 1st track I heard of theirs. Still my favorite
OK. THAT is absolutely my cup of tea! Never heard of them... they're Fantastic! Thank you for introduce them here! :)
Daaaaamn... I've been listening to their previous albums for the past few days. This band is something man. It sounds very recognizable, but fresh too. My colleagues probably disagree (wimps, all of 'em). Preordered this one too. Thanks for another great introduction. This year is starting out strong!
Yeah man, this stuff is something special. I pre-ordered the album and can't wait!
Holy hell! Those deep harmonic vocals at @04:50 by the guitarist are amazing!!! Definitely going to have to check out more by this band!
F*cking finally! Malevolence is such a great band and one of my favorites. Thank you, Tank!
Josh is a great guitar teacher as well. Taking class with him since 2 years. Love their work 🙌and thanks for the great reaction video👏👏
Oh nice! That's awesome!
Definitely one of my favorite new bands.
This isn’t my style of metal, but damn that was great. I pre ordered the album. Thanks for introducing this band to us Tank
I doubt u read comments on videos this old, but thank you.
Malevolence is one of my favorites in the hardcore scene. You were just vibing with it and I love that, thank you
I still get through comments when I can. 🤘

Greetings from Germany!✌🏻
I was at that show for the video shoot in Sheffield. They played the song 3 times to get the content for the video. It was absolutely great! Great band ❤️
That's way fewer times than most bands would do it for a music video. Haha. Hope you had a blast!
Sounds like mid to late 90s metalcore, TRUE metalcore, loved it!
I can never get over the pipes on Konan
I rarely discover new bands that stand out in today's vast plethora of like-sounding bands. This was a breath of fresh air and tight AF. Killer track!
I came across this a week or so ago, I love it . I like how heavy it is with the hard riffs .
Love to see people finally reacting to Malev
I too had seen this band's name around in various discussions but never got around to checking them out. I'm glad you brought them to my attention Tank because they're definitely killing it. Off to check out their other stuff!
What a helluva sound. Thanks for bringing them to my attention.

Thanks for noticing, man!
Yess!!! Their entire catalog is great!
🤙🏻 Beautiful stuff! All their back catalogue is awesome, perfect mix of styles 🙌🏻
This was great, serious madball/hatebreed vibes, old school early 2000s hardcore sound and I loved it. Great stuff.
My favorite band. Can't wait to see them live.
BTW great video, I'll be subscribing ❤
Seeing them tonight! Soooooo excited!!!!!
These boys have some clear Pantera and Crowbar influences but in a very good way, can't wait for the album!!
Yeah they do, personally I think they should back off of that a touch, New Orleans sludgy vocals from a band in Sheffield England seems like abit forced and a rip off, other than that there a sick band, not hating on them, infact going to see them tomorrow
I just watched these guys open up Knotfest in Melbourne, Australia on the weekend and they were awesome! :D
One of best of your reactions/talks/etc after the song has ended. Totally new band for me and thanks for introducing it
Another great one brother…you made a big difference in hearing music to actually LISTENING to music with me.
This song has an amazing groove mixed with that hard-core style
The band Drain also has some serious Pantera vibes if you haven't heard them.
Great reaction!!! Their first album was a banger to me. And their song with Brian from knocked loose is great as well
This is my second time watching this (I watched it a year ago when you posted it) and I just realized you have Throwdown playing in the background towards the end there...that album (Deathless) is so unbelievably underrated it makes me sick that they're not octanecore at this point lol I have that album on each of my phones and it's so timeless and so good...I wish they marketed that album with even a single music video because it's a banger.

YESSS TANK! So happy you've checked these boys out! I was lucky enough to be at the shoot, it was INSANE! These guys have a great combination of styles going on! Talent! Top man! 🤟🏻🇬🇧🤟🏻
Nice, man! That would have been a blast being there!
Ey, I’m in this video. Fun fact is they played this song 3 times at the show to get the footage. We’re from Sheffield, England 👍🏼
Dude, that was sweet!
Holy shit, man! I had heard of these guys before in my circle, but gave them a try. Way to sell me on another one! This was hard as steel. Fucking aye!
They are SO awesome live too! Saw them as opener for Trivium and huge fan now
I really loved this. So cool to find something from the UK (like myself)
WIND ROSE - Gates Of Ekrund just dropped a few days ago, and they have a new album coming out June 10th
On it!
LOVE IT! Sounds to me like lots of Pantera, Crowbar, Madball influence, and I ain't complaining! Next big thing? I sure hope so. Thanks Tank!
Bleed from within - levitate 🤟🏼 a great track
this^
Recently found a band called Deserted Fear. They released a music video Follow the Light that Blinds. They're labeled as a straight up death metal band but they definitely use melo death aspects in Follow the Light that Blinds.
Great song, just discovered them myself and have been checking their albums out
Hi tank. Just because posting. Saw hatebreed open up for Slayer then Judas Priest played. Back when Halford rejoined the band. Great show.
No complaints here, I even see a bass player back there! That lefty guitar player has some savage riffs going on, to me its very different to other "hardcore" bands, definitely gonna keep an eye on this band...great reaction as usual!
Excellent stuff !!! British band too. Cheers Tank.
Hell yes! They are so fucking good! Check out more of their stuff!
I seen them when they opened for Jinjer in December. I'm going to see them again at Welcome to Rockville, can't wait.
AMAZING live band
Just saw them as warm up for While She Sleeps and although it was loud for me, I felt like I would have liked it a lot if I knew some songs.
A few days later and I'm pretty sure 70% of what I've been listening to are these guys :D
Hey @TankTheTech I also could hear some "Born from Pain" Elements out of it - classical New York Hardcore!
BOOM - great review man .. get yourself over to BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL next year.
This song took me back to 2005 and i fucking loved it.
If you haven't yet, you should check out Levitate by Bleed From Within. Absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Planning on it!
Dude the riff, the groove, just heavily reminds me of Pantera, and it's just so good
As soon as the Song started, I had a flashback back into the time of Pantera, Sepultura, etc.
The voice of the guitar player reminds me of another singer/band, but in the moment my brain is still in the past [:=
Åh tank I have missed you!!!!
They are from Shefield UK, which is in Yorkshire. Been following them since about 2017 when they weren't really on alot of radars. Only the Brit scene back then. They've really taken off
This band is fucking incredible!
Really liked the song Keep your distance, also very riffy. Which is a cool combination with their hardcore vibes!
Watch malevolence live at download 2022 and it mad me an instant fan.
Holy shit what a tune my god!
This is a killer song! Reminds me a bit of "Nodes Of Ranvier" from the old day 😁
Love the all shall prevail mask 🤟🏼
Malevolence will be the next big thing!
Do a reaction of their track "delusions of fear" that's where the beatdown influence really kicks in.
The drummer is insane man damn😀🤘
I’ve heard this song on SiriusXM liquid metal and it has got to have the best intro of any heavy song I have heard in a long time
Can't wait for your to react to Gandhimai by Underside...a metal band from Nepal...🤟
anysong that has guitar riffs like that are gonna hook me lmao
I've seen them yesterday as opening act for lamb of god in Nuremberg they killed it. Plus it did sound way better than in the video... So if you have the chance go to their tour!
Slave to satisfaction is an absolute banger by the lads malevolence too!
I would also check out Wasted Breath, Slave to Satisfaction, Turn to Stone, and Condemned to Misery
Sheffield UK baby
I think the second guitar is an Ibanez RGAIX6U and it has a fixed Gibraltar 2 bridge.
Sheffield representatives 💪🤘
Have you gotten to their newest release yet? It's a stomper!
The cleans remind me a lot of Soilwork
Probably the best British metal band out there currently
I have a suggestion for a Reaction. SiM with The Rumbling. This is a Japanese metalcore band that sings English and the song was released only five days ago.
Very cool song and a recommendation from me
Saw them live last night, and the album doesn’t even do them Justice. They’re so freaking nuts 🤘
I hate this kind of thing happening, but their sound is great
Would be cool if you get the lead vocalist Alex Taylor on in interview. Good guy
MIGHT be working on that. 😎
Hey dude, I know you’ve covered them before, but you need to check out A Depth That No One Dares by Bleed From Within. No need for a reaction since there’s no music video or anything, but I’d love to hear your take at the ending of the song when everything goes insane
Groovy Hatebreed.
congratulations for the content, I would like to indicate a band from Brazil, RAJADA METAL CLUB, you will not regret it!
Malevolence is such a great band you should listen to some of their first songs they´re fucking insane
You gotta check out the new Visions of Atlantis song that dropped today
That was f**king sick, another one to annoy the s**t out of gf :)
Thanks Tank...for bringing new music and joy to us all
I just did a little background on this band and saw them described as "beatdown hardcore." I think I may like this one 😁
Check out their album reign of suffering! That’s got some of their heavier beat down style songs on there! Absolutely phenomenal band live too!
I hate to take away from the band, I fucking love Malevolence and this track, but I was curious if you've ever considered doing a video for Every Time I Die? They've been such a staple in the metalcore scene for 20+ years and would love to see them get some more attention.

Hello Tank, could you react to "Agathodaimon - Tristetea Vehementa (Band Playthrough)"
It's the recorded version from the album "Blacken the Angel" in 1998
Greetings from germany and have a nice day in these times!
