Artists work at both companies. This is nothing new. Chip Zdarsky was writing both Batman and Daredevil. He was getting paychecks from two rival companies.

Pretty sure these lessons could help you draw manga too. Manga is just Japanese comics. These are some of the best artists in the american comic industry. Probably a lot of crossover in techniques.
Why disrespect american comics with this comment?
Lots of Japanese artist like Peach Momoko work in american comics. The techniques are probably similar. Also it's nice american comic companies do this kind of outreach and instruction I don't see Japanese companies offering this.

Why would anyone would want to work for Marvel. Erik July, sold 3.7 million for Isom 1, a no body, respectfully , while Marvel, an internationally multi billion dollar corporation can’t even break in the top 100 in graphic novel sales.
Many of their artists are hired because of nepotism.
Want to know how you break into Marvel, you need to know someone to get in.
It’s not about talent or skill, it’s who you know.
The majority of their stories, art and marketing suck.
Marvel just sucks as a company to work for. Many of the marvel workers need to work a second job to make ends meet.
