Mahito is a cursed spirit. What he is doing is natural to them. Morals and stuff do not apply to cursed spirits as its just in their nature to be evil. The way Jogo and the others were thinking is unnatural for cursed spirits.
I like to believe that Jogo, Hanami and Dagon being that way with each other has to do with them being from the same source which is fear of nature concepts, so they like" yea we homies"
Mahito is doing exactly what Sukuna said to Jogo. He is burning everything down following his hunger. If left unchecked, he will reach the hights of Gojo and Sukuna.

Sukuna's advice to Jogo was to just burn everything to be stronger enough to someday match Gojo. Mahito's child like behavior is literally that.

Mahito is the most twisted of the cursed spirts as he’s born from humans. He’s my favourite villain cause he’s such a joy to watch. The voice actor does a phenomenal job

Objectively, I love Mahito. The juxtaposition of his childlike nature being a fun and annoying little shit to the horrible things he's doing to people is just *chef's kiss*; he's a good entertaining villain that I love and hate.

Mahito was born out of humans' negative emotions like sadness,anger, depression. He has no morals, also he's still a baby curse so he doesn't know much either

Ugh! Why couldn’t he have run into someone that could’ve healed him instead 😔 I’m so glad that we got to at least see Nanami have a proper send off and go out like a G. Though I obviously don’t want him to be gone. RIP to the 🐐 But that sure was cruel cause Itadori cannot seem to catch a damn break. He’s just witness to so much madness and is really going through it now. I thought I wanted it before, but now I REALLY want to see Mahito get destroyed. And I really hope Nobara isn’t dead cause I don’t know how much more Yuji can take.

Yeah…even though I knew it was gonna happen, still was a freaking bawling mess. RIP Nanami. 💔 You came back to being a sorcerer for a reason, and that is to protect the youth, to not let what happen to your best friend happen again. Rest easy in Malaysia 😭 It's way different from the manga, they really took time in the anime to give Nanami a proper send off. What breaks my heart even more is Yuji. He just had his body kill thousands of people by Sukuna, only to see his father-figure teacher explode into bits by the same curse that killed Junpei. And he's just 15. Like tf. 😢
If you hate Mahito, then the writer is doing a good job. He's a curse, so he doesn't give a flying freak about human feelings and just gains pleasure from human pain and breaking of souls. Don't expect any curse here to help any sorcerer at all.
And what’s funny is Nanami is Gege’s(the writer) favorite character 😀 he got carried away, he said…yeah…
One thing's for sure about this arc, just…don't have high hopes. 🥲 They won't even give you time to mourn. That's a life of a sorcerer. (I had to take a break from reading the manga when Nanami died…sadly for you guys and the anime viewers. You can pause…but y'know 😢)
