I love Cherry MX switches. Broke my MX Blacks in for a couple months, swapped in some 16mm 55g TX long springs, L/F. They were great. This is an interesting way of showing your incompetence.
@@Pandered I know there are people in the world who use Cherry switches, but none of them were featured in this video. Go look at their channels. Find me a build where any of them are using Cherry switches. Glarses did ONCE in a competition vid, and couldn't have been more miserable about the entire process.

@@ElevatorRaters The springs I agree with. MX springs are horrid, which is why I spring swap all my MX Blacks with TX. But the scratchiness that comes with the Cherry housings is something that some people like, including me. So I think that's just more of a preference thing.
@@ElevatorRaters Yeah I see what you mean. One thing, Hyperglides are just a retooled version of "standard" MX Blacks, as you called them. New molds, slightly improved tolerances. Not much smoother though from my testing. But yeah if I wanted that smoothness with that signature Cherry sound signature I'd be buying H1s instead lmao
I feel like I learned a lot about everyone in this episode. Somehow I knew Glarses (even tho I love his vids) would be the one that overslept. Also I found it wild that you climb but driving gives you anxiety and this is from someone ran over by a semi truck as a kid. Great vid
Hopefully cherry comes out with some new and compelling switches for the enthusiasts out here, seems like they’re getting killed by the competition outside of prebuilts, and even there, they’re starting to lose market share.
With competition coming from Gateron with their staple switches, such as the Oil Kings, and the Black Inks, Cherry may be beaten out soon by other companies as well.
Why their starting to make keycaps again. Which in pretty excited for as GMK used to use cherry tooling and equipment to make their double shot keycaps a long time ago. I'm excited to get more stuff from them in the instock market
Old cherries are better than most modern switches… MX Olympias are my current daily driver and blow Oil kings out of the water, wish they still made them😪
