Doctors should be held accountable for their role in the opioid crisis in this country. Instead of refusing to proliferate highly addictive & deadly controlled substances they accepted the bribes from pharmaceutical salespeople in order to prop up the image & lifestyle expected of a medical professional.
The pharmaceutical companies knew there was a price to pay at some point but 3-5 billion in profits compared to a 1-2 billion lawsuit is a win-win.
Pharmacies are more prominent on street corners than drug dealers. They’re part of the conspiracy because they are the distributors.
RICO Law applies to the healthcare industry but everyone respects that form of manufacturing deadly drugs, delivering them to the market, & proliferating the drugs throughout the nation. White people do dirt the right way. Clean.

Definitely not low level. He was obviously dealing with the cartel and they would not sell or front any low level dude that much weight. Obviously the Cartels get the big money but these dudes were definitely not “low level” dealers. Dude you know how much violence comes along with dealing with that much weight. People die when organizations are dealing that much. There’s always people who don’t pay, when corners have to be taken over or when people refuse to sell that organization’s drugs.

She's sloppy and apparently needs to become reacquainted with how a lawyer behaves in court, at the very least for the good of her clients. A night in jail would be a good reminder.
And for the person who wanted the judge to give her more time, you must understand that the case had already been argued. She'd been given ample time to mount a defense. Acting like you were born in a barn at sentencing can only hurt your client.

I remembered an old guy in my neighbourhood. He used to go from house to house selling wine gums. A lot of kids got hooked on them.
I saw a lot of good kids go down the wrong path because of him. My friend Josh was one of them. By age 12, he'd lost 9 teeth because of the high sugar content in the wine gums.
Sadly, the cops never caught him and he continued to deal until his death at age 87. I think the cops were too afraid to even try to catch him.

The night before his first day at the job he wanted to get high one last time, and that was the last time. I got the call from his cousin the next day “We found Devin’s body in his room.” There was no funeral for him. But he was cremated and his ashes were spread where he and his dad went fishing.
