This made me cry, I have the same issues as you. I was in abusive friends with benfits relationship and I cope with food and have terrible stomach issues and bad gut health. I hate the way I look but it's hard to stop binging even though my stomach is screaming in pain, I'm going to try my best to keep combating my stress and I'll add your videos as a source of self care because I have a feeling you're going to help me. it hurts so much to know that, when I was around 10, I was starving myself and felt these heartburns all the time
I really needed to hear this. I’ve been so obsessed with what my body looks like, and what I believe it should look like. I’m constantly comparing myself. I’m constantly starving myself, everytime I see a mirror I have to check if my body looks right. I’m always trying to check my weight whenever I can, and if it’s over a certain number, I’ll decide not to eat the next day and do every single workout I see on RUclips. I literally do workouts everyday. I’m gonna try slowing down. I’m only gonna work out on weekends, and on weekdays I’ll do stretches and try to keep my stress low, despite having school. I’ll try my best. I don’t think I’ll be able to keep a promise for this, but I’ll try.

Don’t worry about venting here babe- your story is so valid and I’m sure many people can agree with you on this! So glad you’re showing up for yourself to become better and owning up to these negative habits- that really is the start of your healing journey.
I’ve been there and completely know the feeling of constantly checking the mirror to make sure I didn’t gain fat or if my stomach got bloated etc. You really gotta start appreciating your self more to put an end to these bad habits because your life is meant to be so much greater than simply the way you look.

Thank you so much Gloria! This is exactly what I needed to hear... Been extremely stressed lately I feel like it had a huge impact on my overall health, I even haven't been feeling like my true self. Luckily I've started recovering step by step and hopefully will be able to ease my mind and lower my stress levels soon. And of course this whole situation has affected my weight and eating habits.

Thank you so so much. I’m struggling hard with binge eating and i have been for years. For the first time last night i was able to refrain from eating too much sugary foods and instead just went to sleep earlier for a better rest. I’m trying really hard to lose weight and a lot of the time i just get stuck between a few pounds up and down, it’s difficult. But i’m trying to drink more water and eat more mindfully, and i’m following some of your workouts every so often that i enjoy. I really appreciate this video 🫶
This really resonates with me a lot as someone who went on a highly restrictive diet with repetitive workouts for months and was still always bloated and unhappy with my appearance. I just recently started doing your lymph node massage routines and I feel so relaxed afterwards and light on my feet, I also noticed reduced inflammation especially on my face.

I completely know what you mean by inflammation especially in the facial area- That’s what I noticed most at first when I started this new approach of health & wellness.
And to your question: honestly, I think for me being able to incorporate things that I love in my daily routine (whether that is cooking & eating my comfort meals, singing in my room alone, joking around with my family/ friends) and consistently looking for the little specs in life that gives me happiness- I try to magnify that every single day.
Stress is really just a negative thought that eventually evokes negative emotions. so if you’re able to catch yourself and switch your thoughts with positive inputs- stress will no longer be ruling over you because you hold the control over your mind. Def could talk more about this in another video! Lmk if you would be interested. Really hope this could be of any help 💕

I have the exact same issues you used to have, including the heartburn (i thought i was dying when they happened and it's the first time I've seen someone else talk about it).
My self-esteem drops every time my weight increases (and it's absolutely down to my stomach issues).

Totally understand how you feel!! Honestly, the first step is acknowledging that you have something that is worrying on your mind and you need to figure out what is making you feel so stressed or unsafe in your environment. Apart from being mindful with why you're eating a certain food, keep focusing on what brings you peace and what might be things that trigger you (whether that is food, situations, social environment). @@GloriaSong I feel like this is what I am going through right now. I'm back living with my parents due to being unemployed and it's really affected my weight and just my overall lifestyle. I believe that going back to working out can truly begin when I have enough money to move out of the house again.
