Having less infected makes each threat that much better. Each clicker encounter has been fatal (Tess and Sam), and having untrained kids kill of hella infected would have been so unrealistic.
The show does the infected better by making them a serious threat each time

They still should show the characters at least encountering them and avoiding them. All they do in the show is say "Yo that area is infested with infected". Only for them to go there and not actually seeing any.
There is no sense of danger in the show.

Less infected doesn’t make any sense outside the qz where’s there’s a bunch of people and it’s been closed off. There’s a stealth aspect too they don’t have to kill them but at least show the danger of the world. This series has been abysmal for showing mortality
Both sets of actresses did an amazing job. So glad they included the DLC in the show
This is by far the best game adaptation. The adapted it almost word for word. That's freaking cool.

@@JerseyJake98 Books are very different though. A book is in written form but the cutscenes of a game and a movie are almost the exact same, especially with modern graphics. Totally unnecessary episode.
People saying that the show is Boring, but they forgot the difference of being in control of something and just watch... The game approach is more action, you fell more into it... the tv show is more drama... Different feelings.

No its boring because there is not a time balance between horror action scenes and moderate ones . there are very few scary action scenes in this TV series that are weak or childish Unlike the game .

This show is just genius. Honestly didn't think they could pull it off, but they made an incredible show out of an untouchable video game. Wow.
Sincerely, the show improved the section with more drama and coercion....at same time respecting the whole pace and proposal of the history

the acting is SO INCREDIBLE
The show is perfect for everybody! the ones that already played the game and the people that are not into games at all and this is his first experience with the story. Totally awesome!

because in real life, even with best camera, its hard to get the perfect angle and control the environment lighting.

Not having played the DLC, this just further cements in my mind that TLOU is Ellie's story through and through.
It's her and Joel's. The Last of Us. this is her story and you got to see Joel's in the opening where Sarah dies.
It’s always felt like Joel’s story to me. Which is what pissed me and so many others off when they killed him right at the start of the 2nd game.

There are two types of people in the world. This show has highlighted that better than ever. There are people with depth, sympathy and imagination, those who can shed a tear over this beautiful show..... Then there are those who think it's boring, which really highlights their lack of emotional intelligence.

Loved everything except Riley’s wig. They said “ lets put the stiffest head piece on earth on her head”
But realistically in a post-apocalyptic world where is she going to create or find the freshest or trendiest wig? lmao. She should have just went natural.

People say that this episode had no meaning. It had 100% more meaning than the Bill episode
This is literally the most important episode so far in terms of its narrative consequences.
The bill episode was important to the message of the game. The fact that 2 lovers were able to grow old together and die peacefully while humanity is hanging on by strings gives hope

Fungal inventions can travel through the blood stream. So that would likely not work. It would have to be near immediate.

@@LuisSierra42 They do that to make the infected a bigger threat than it is in the games. Taking out dozens of clickers and resistance members feels very unrealistic.
@@arish_xo And also because having the same amount of exploration and combat in the show would result in unnecessary padding. With less of that there's more time to explore the characters. Different mediums, different priorities.

The game does it better in so many ways. The show in its entirety hasn’t been all too great and doesn’t capture the feels you get when playing the game. Hopefully they do better next season.
