I hate to admit it, but this is solid advertising. It sells the lifestyle, then the product.
Wow, makes me wish I had some property to camp on.
And knew how to cook.
And had friends.
haha love this comment xD :D
Same
I wish I knew how to cook too man.
Me too Hitler
I carried this on my solo thru-hike on the PCT and ate well every day! I am two inches shorter now, but I can squat 1,000 lbs. Thanks Lodge!
P.S. My back is kind of messed up now.
Born and raised in the city, but I would love to wake up like this every morning
born and braised
My great-grandma, my granny, and my mama all cooked using cast iron. Unfortunately, I don't have any of their pieces, but I started my own collection 45 years ago. I love cooking on my cast iron and will pass my collection to my granddaughters. This "cook it all" cast iron looks great for those that camp and want to pack minimal but want great results while cooking outdoors on a campfire. Great job Lodge for another fine product made in the USA!!
That's awesome!! The most unique and usable Cook kit I've ever seen!!! Thanks much for sharing and blessings to you and your family 😇 🇺🇸
What a fantastic piece of cooking gear. My mind is just flooded with options on how to us such a versatile tool.
Watching the live launch on Facebook right now. Awesome you released this RUclips video ready at the same time. Smart. Things looks awesome!
Thanks for tuning in! Glad you enjoyed them!
Would Lodge make a companion Cook-It-All in a 8-inch size? Sometime people are not in large families or in groups. It would be nice if all the pieces could interchange between the Cook-It-All, Skillet, and Dutch Oven. On second thought, a 10-inch size would work better than the 8-inch size.
B Case. Honestly, I'd like to see it in all three sizes. That's a great idea you had!
Hopefully this has great success, and if enough of us keep asking for smaller sizes, they will follow through.
How about it, Lodge?
I'd be in for a couple of small ones.
My thoughts exactly 😀👍
Thanks for your suggestion!
I live my Lodge Dutch oven, skillets. Now I have to try this.
Glad to see the great marketing for a great product! We got our Lodge griddle last month. Since you don't deliver to outside the country we had to order from another company. Luckily it got to our home safely and darn if it isn't the best darn griddle ever!!! Now I'm beginning to think that A-Cook-It -All is a "Can't live without" must have.
Sandra9135,
If they would ship it through the Postal Service, it would could right to your door! 👍🏻🇺🇸🤓
Unfortunately we asked and the said they could not accomodate. That's okay because we can find a way for such a great product.
So far the best commercials on iron cast pots. Wish Lodge would make various sizes in the future
Editing makes everything look so easy and fast.
Lodge cast iron is always coming up with something else I need .
OK, I need this for my cast iron life.
I love that it can be easily used as a pizza or bread oven. A very versatile idea. Yall really did an outside the box idea!
I can't imagine baking bread in the woods. Now that's livin'!
@@bunkyman8097 Dude, you need to get a Camp Dutch Oven, if you don't have one! They are addictive, because you can cook so many different things in them. From cakes & pies to oven roasted chicken & a casserole!
Chris Sewell,
I do have one of those and you are correct!
One time while camping I went to the grocery store and the stuff for roasted chicken. Needless to say I had company that night for dinner!
I also use it to bake bread at home. It does the best job.
That is one of the best things I have seen I have one of your large skillets that I love. I have a combi cooker for two yrs and love it. This all in one is the best
I do loads of cast iron cooking, I got to have this. this looks so versatile.
Looks like an amazing thing to take out camping! You can cook everything with a minimum of weight hauled. Greatness!
So simple but endless ways to cook with it. Nice design.
Nothing spurns on creativity like real competition. Field, StarGazer, ButterPat, Field.... Lodge hit a HomeRun on this piece imo. Note to Lodge: please introduce a "new, old style" 10" or 12" skillet to the round-up; smooth, maybe even machined finish, with a nice mid range weight.
Way to go on the "Cook-All"!
Respect.
I'm not good with cast iron, but this will be my next addition to my
Lodge cookware!
Wow, AMAZING piece of equipment. It would be cool if it came with those delicious looking recipes.
Wow. Well done! Looks great!
Enjoyed watching this!
Just purchased 3 skillets. Cant wait to get my Iron skillet on!!!!. Also American Made is a plus.
That is a beautiful piece of hardware.
Wow that be great in my collection, I love cooking especially in the great outdoors
You need to keep up the momentum with these videos, keep it up
I’m totally sold. Gettin’ one of these bad boys.
Wow, that's Awesome. I want one of those. 👍👍
Love their Combo Cooker.
Smart versatile idea! Bravo Lodge!!!
Thanks, Paul!
Man, that looks good!
dang it. another new lodge toy. it's on my Xmas list now
I will buy this one day. Thank you
I have one and have used the pizza oven and it turned out great. Tomorrow will take it caping near Idaho City and do some steaks and and baked potatoes. Will get back to let everyone know how it turned out. I also have seasoned this 2 times already!
great product bravo lodge
I made my best pizza on this a few years ago it looked perfect and tasted great ! I’m going to have to dig it out and do it again !
Made in the USA 🇺🇸 with pride and love
In love have to add this to my outdoor supplies
@Hammerschlägen M List off some, Im always interested in the best bang for the buck when it comes to camping
Ditto to B Case's comment. I bought the cook-it-all, and whilst I love it, truly l-o-n-g for a a smaller (~8-10") version. I am single, and usually cook and camp alone. An 8-10" scaled-down size would allow my donkeys to carry it for backcountry trips, where it would be invaluable.
Wow, nice piece of cast iron
Ughh, another cast iron item I didn't know I needed
That’s awesome. Gotta have one of those!😃👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I had no idea this existed and now I want it!
It’s good value, it will still be here when you aren’t. Great product.
All my hobbies in one video.. ya I'm gonna buy one
GOOD VIDEO!!! IF YOU OWN A PIECE OF QUALITY CAST IRON,YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO COOK!!!
Really nice innovation here Lodge. I may get this one. I do wish you would up the finish and smooth the inside of your skillets more even it it makes them cost more. Or perhaps have a high tier line. Starting to get more USA made competition that had this edge and I think you can make as good for much better cost. And your basic designs are very good.
love cooking with cast iron ..especially Lodge...I always pick up a new piece when I'm in Tennessee..this looks like it will be my next piece..very versatile....
I have a skillet that belonged to my great grandmother..keep them clean and oiled and they will last forever.
Wow I love this!
This is a whole freaking kitchen bro!
I love my cast iron, and I thought I was done getting cast iron... but god damnit do I want this so bad!
I gotta get one!
I love my lodge cast iron skillets.
I have one of the Lodge Kickoff grills and I think it can do a bunch of different things like this one, but they don't really tell you about it. Like the bottom part that holds coal normally could be used as a grill or a griddle.
WoW now that's what i need for deer camp.
Looks so good
Pretty dope. Now i gotta have 1
I think this is a really attractive innovation, but... I have a decent collection of Lodge cookware already. Whatever this thing can do, I can already do. Just one person's opinion: The best of the best are, 1) The Lodge 14" cast iron wok and 2) the Lodge 14" pizza pan. With those two items, you can do anything that can be done. Be it in the kitchen or on the campfire.
yeah, but you already have that stuff. This is good for someone that doesn't and wants an all in one.
Looks like an outstanding piece of equipment, I may just have give them a closer look...…..
I use my Lodge Skillet pan almost everyday. And now this thing .... I need it in my life;) best part MADE IN USA
Too bad those horrible tariffs will likely force them to lay off workers and automate more so that those jobs will never come back.
@@robertm4050
Probably not. There isn't all that much human labor in making a pan, and they don't sell that much. Just wouldn't really be worth it. It takes a very large volume to make the expenses worth it.
(Coke otoh, spent millions to switch to corn syrup because it saved them just a half cent.... Per can. But they sell a LOT of cans)
Note: they made the pouring of the molds automatic back in the beginning of the 1950's.
I am talking about the tax on metals. It has been a boon for a few metal foundries, but for many businesses that use those metals it has been a heavy burden. Since the pans are made of metal, it will mean their costs go up considerably and this would cause them to find ways to reduce costs and lay off workers. I think cast iron is having a renaissance and it probably makes sense to update factories now while they are selling more than they have in years.
@@robertm4050
The tariffs on metals isn't on all, or even many metals. And iron isn't one of the metals that have had tariffs added by the idiot.. Steel and aluminum have nee tariffs
But even then, a 25% increase in something as cheap as what common metals are isn't much extra cost when you're talking about things that only have a few pounds at most.
Not to mention that most things made in America already have more profit built in than they should. So they're overpriced already. If the increase in tariffs makes them raise prices and it hurts sales they can just make due with less profit TBH.
take the bottom and fill it with what you want to cook, put the griddle on the top and load your coals on top. makes what we call a coonass microwave.
BAMM! Gotta add to my iron again👍
I have a Dillard's near me in NE Arkansas that stocks premium Lodge cast iron products and I will be getting me one of these. I have a 26 inch Weber Kettle that, more often than not, I use as an outdoor oven and I will so be using it even more now.
@leterbuck2001 Cast iron is all I cook with and I can assure you I know what I'm doing. You have yourself a nice day.
Great idea!
ok I'm sold
In croatia we have similar thing called a sač (such) we cover it with coals n cook meat n potatoes soo yummy
Also known as a peka in Serbia if I'm not mistaken.
I need one of them
Simple perfection!
Show the joys of cleaning it!
I need this!
I would've look at the other guys and said "if tall ain't helping me cook, ya'll ain't eating when I'm done!!!" 😂😂😂
Wish you had a smaller set.
Everytime I go backpacking or hiking, I bring one of your small skillets and a surplus us army tin set. Sometimes it can be bothersome to cook multiple things on a small skillet and tin set.
It would be great to get a smaller version
if i cook something at a campfire in a cast iron skillet and wrap the bottom of the pan in tin foil will that keep the pan from turning black from the smoke? nice video thanks
How easy is it to clean? Especially flipping the grill over after using it to then use the griddle side.
You can count on Randy to catch a big fish! Good job holding up the name.
this is awesome
Awesome! How do you bake in it like a dump cake or a peach crisp or cobbler or bread I know I'm pushing it but that's what I do to myself, produces and others! Lol!! Camp on! Thank you!
I am in love with my lodge . The food tastes so good .. that food seen in today viedo must be dam good . How do i get invited to that party 😚
Todo se ve delicioso como se llama o puedes compartir el link ? Por favor gracias
For the price there should be a added dome cover that doubles as a sauce pan.
Absolutely yes!!!
exelente!!!
An 8 or 10 would be perfect for me!!! I don’t often need a bigger size then that.
Amazing!!
It is the best good cast iron
And is there one sized for in-home use?
Awesome !
Looks cool. Question: does this stack? Can I put my dutch oven on it, or would it be too wobbly, with the center dealie instead of legs under it?
Nice!!
I recently purchase this and will be going camping in a few weeks. I was looking at your pit set-up did you use wood and charcoal at the bottom please help😩
Want! Thanks.
Can you make one so I can use that "wok" on my electric cooker?
A warning to anyone... since Lodge didn't do it on their "you can do anything with this cooker" video. Do not just hike out in the woods and grab mushrooms like they do @1:30 in this video unless you are 100% sure you know the difference between mushrooms. You could get very sick and/or die.
I like this
I will definitely get one of these before my next camping trip. But I need the recipe for the jambalaya that the chef was cooking. I did not see it on the website.
That jambalaya was burnt on the bottom because of the pot shape.
Datil Man its pretty easy. Sautee sausage, peppers and onion, pour in chicken broth and crushed tomatoes with uncooked rice. Let simmer for about 20 mins then add shrimp. Or if you do chicken and sausage sautee your chicken with the pepper onion and sausage. I also add garlic powder and file powder used generally in gumbo. Jambalaya is a very easy 1 pot recipe.
Can it fit another Lodge piece, like a skillet or Dutch oven bottom, to serve as a lid?
Because it's flat and 14-inches in diameter, the griddle could be used as a lid for many other pots and pans if they're about 13-inches or less in diameter.
very nice! im sure I'll have to add this to my collection someday. Hats off to Lodge as I didnt think there could be another cast iron product left to discover! Only issue I have is that the quality control is horrendous. You can see it in the pictures on the website for the 14cia. The grind marks and slag on the premier launch makes me wonder why even make a big deal about a new "release". My last purchase of a Lodge product had the same type of issue... all 6 pieces had horrible DEEP grinding marks, (I should say gouges). after complaining to the vender I was referred to the HMF'er in-charge, only to get a song and a dance. The excuse was these are one of a kind pieces and the marks give it a special appeal. Now I usually clean up my new purchases and grind/sand edges smooth along the outer diameter...makes them look a little more "top shelf". The gouges were too deep to try and remove. sorry but Wamlmart junk cast iron looks better JMHO
Michael/ ARE YOU BUYING SECONDS OR REJECTS??? MAYBE YOU NEED TO SHOP SOMEWHERE BESIDES A DISCOUNT STORE OR FLEA MARKET!!! IV'E BOUGHT SEVERAL PIECES OF LODGE CAST IRON OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS.I INSPECTED THEM,THEY WERE ALL FINE.I DON'T LIKE THE NEW SO-CALLED SEASONING,BUT IV'E NEVER HAD A PROBLEM!!! JUST USE THEM,THEY GET BETTER AND BETTER!!!
ezrabrooks12 check the website and Xoom in on the picture of the kettle....you'll see what I mean... don't get me wrong, I love Lodge...I clean all them up when I get them. Just got a few pieces where they ground too far into the pieces to remove the casting burrs. I wish I could post pictures... check the website for L14CIA. No I don't buy seconds or discount Lodge material...it should not leave the factory...
sounds like you need something to complain about
Probably like most other items we buy these days, Made in China. No quality control, just volume.
@@topwatch7119 Nope. It's made in Tennessee.
