That is beyond nice. Great job, and you guys definately know what you are doing.
That’s the coolest truck I’ve ever seen !
Beautiful truck, excellent workmanship, to bad we never really got a full side view or rear view. The camera man concentrated on the guy not the truck, to that bother anybody else? I want to see the truck, not the guy!!
ruclips.net/video/F1zBC9tH1MA/видео.html
I got a rear view ….saw the diamond wording an lights in the rear??
Exactly this seems to be a trend if they wanted to just interview the builder they just as well put him in an office chair with a photo of the truck in the background. A real shame because the resolution is excellent…
Stand back about three feet more to do the walk around and zoom in on details
Wow,, what a beautiful truck, my favorite color combo and the fit and finish are absolutely perfect, great job is an understatement that is craftsmanship at it finest
Thanks for the compliments! The color really was a great choice by the client.
Yes it is a great colour scheme, but I would like to see some Red on it. But having said that, I don't know what to put it on.
Wow! The workmanship is incredible! Beautiful Truck.
You have done yourselves proud with the finished product
The truck is absolutely amazing inside and out
I just love it 👍👍👍
Thank you. We are very proud of our team.
Great build
Somehow the word beautiful just doesn't cut it. That truck is amazing.
That thing is dope. Most ppl today don’t know how to incorporate chrome in older trucks but you nailed it. Chrome is to compliment the overall truck.
I love everything about this diamond T. Good work!
That is the best looking and driving (?) Diamond T I have ever seen. Your attention to detail is commendable as well. I would love to own that truck.
I love the old Diamond Ts, what a beautiful job.
beautiful job, outstanding result! 👌
Prettiest truck I ever seen in my life.
Awesome job ! I especially like the clearance lights in the bed rails.
I love that truck! What a project, but what an outcome! It’s gorgeous. I’ll bet the owner is tickled pink. I would be!
You guys does a beautiful job I enjoy doing the pick up looks very very nice like it’s an excellent job so if you have some more I will be watching have a nice day God bless
Rob Byzitters 1950 Chevy 3100 is more of a patina build but it really matches the vibe of this truck. This is definitely a bigger, harder build. Respect!
Beautiful truck.....
Excellent craftsmanship.......WELL DONE.......!!!!!!
Love this truck badass!
Phenomenal job guys!!! At first I was like... "you should be shot for chopping the top on the cab...", but watching the video, the cab is at it's original height. Small/low cab for sure! Excellent work... That the engine is original is pretty great too. Thanks for saving this treasure and sharing it with us.
Fantastic work beautiful truck.
Would love to see it driving on the streets ❤
Very nice!!!! I love everything you guys did, my uncle had a Studebaker farm truck kinda like that.
Absolutely beautiful truck! The wheels appear to be 19.5's. I'm sure the bolt pattern is 8 on 6.5. What brand are the wheels? Thanks
The smile on your face tells it all. It’s Gorgeous.
Stock Diamond T cabs from this era looked like they have a chopped top. I would be tempted to add an inch or two to the cab height if it weren't a fabrication nightmare.
What a incredible build amazing 👏
So cool, what a fabulous build!!!
Mantap boss. Cantik sekali clasik.
Excellent job beautiful truck.
Dude....That is Badass!!!
Beautiful truck!! I can only imagine the bill!!!
If you ask, you can not afford it.
Amazing skill set you have anyway I just found out about diamond T trucks last week and your beautiful creation popped up gotta love the web .
Thanks 👍
As much as I love Cummins that would have been even better with a Detroit under the hood but I understand why you went with the Cummins. Awesome truck!
Outstanding!
Wow I would have to say my favorite custom truck so far and it'd be hard to beat well done Custom Classics that is beautiful 👌👌👌 🇦🇺 🇦🇺 🇦🇺 🏆
"FREAKIN' AWESOME!"
These trucks should still be made today. And not the cheap crap that is out there now.
That is a beautiful truck and a head turner! I bet tons of man hours went into it.
Beautiful truck 😍
Bad ass truck and a bad ass band.
Fantastic truck next time back up and show full views of the entire truck.
I love it no body has one like that one and only if I had I would never get out
Very cool!
Would love to see and hear it drive

Diamond REO. And the Man behind REO is the Man behind Oldsmobile. And then this has a Cummins in it. This is revenge for every time someone dropped an Chevy Anchor engine into something where it didn't belong and Mochevrolested it. And it is funny that it is called the Cadillac of truck, because the trim on the front of it is definitely Pontiac from the forties and Fifties at 5:08. With a giant grill that is basically designed after a 1937 Oldsmobile. You should have kept the look of the window cranks if nothing else.
Yes it is a beautiful truck, yes the workmanship is excellent, yes I am bothered there was no decent side view.It seems to me that not many camera(PERSONS
) know much about motor vehicles.I would LOVE to have that Truck.
(But of course I would put another axle under the back make a real truck out of it,and two stacks.
Toda una obra maestra..💯💢💯👍
Good lord is that truck beautiful…. Some incredible skills put that together 🤠👍👍
Thanks 👍
Beautiful
This truck is way cool awesome,!!!
We had a 49 Diamond truck that had a grain boox on it but it was identical to your cab wise .
Badass !
Beautiful job! Thie owner must really love this truck! If this resto & costomize job cost less than $50K, I would be surprised. I'm thinking the cost was closer to $100K.
Thank you! The cost was quite a bit higher than $100k. Diamond T never made a crew cab, or had a bed that long, or those rear fenders, bumpers, interior... don't forget the Cummins. Most of the truck was fabricated by hand, but tastefully done so it didn't look "off" or too obnoxiously customized as many truck builds are nowadays. There are a lot of sneaky pieces to this puzzle that you don't see at first glance. Customer is VERY pleased with the results and it seems so is the rest of the custom truck community.
Guess again .
absolutely Beautiful use it as a template for fiber glass reproductions yeah yeah !
Finaly a pretty boy with a pretty white back ground
Outstanding workmanship,
She's very Beautiful,
How long did it take to build?
Wow amazing, great craftsmanship ,how much out the door? $ … so cool ❤
great work, but why ruin the original small rear cab window?
Where did you get the weatherstripping and seals, are there restoration or reproduction companies out there for these trucks?
Safari windows.oh what the f*** badass 👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
This is the best Diamond T I've seen in years.Where is your shop located?
Island Lake, Illinois. Northwest of Chicago
I'd love to know what this cost and what the total labor hours were, but I'm sure we'll never find out.
💯💯👍👏
Where did you get the chrome done?
Speed & Sport Chrome Plating
Wow I love this truck but cummins not cool she needs a 7.2 Caterpillar
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Is this video about the guy or the truck.
Rad x 1947
would have been better as an OEM restoration.
Diamond Reo bought out Diamond T
Wonder how much that cost to custom build.
My guess would be, a LOT.
@@mattywho8485 I'm thinking $50 to 70k, but it's hard to get any idea of what the real cost would be. That is , to someone who wanted that kind of a product.
For everyone wanting to see more of it running and driving and less of Joe's face: ruclips.net/video/F1zBC9tH1MA/видео.html
Camera person should have called in sick this day! Instead of getting to see the work on the truck we got bar talk.
I have a 2001 Ram 4wd diesel, and thought about doing something like this. Sadly, I'm smart enough to know NOT to start a project like this, because it would never get finished.
Truck is great I would have rather waatched the rebuild then listen to you talk
All it takes is money.
Who shot the video terrible job I wanted to see the truck all we got was the guy that built the thing
When it comes to classic historic iron, I'm a keep it stock kind of guy. I'm also not a Chrysler fan to put it mildly. Do what you want with what is yours, but for me this is borderline sacrilege.
This ain’t your F-150 🤔😂
Wayyy too much of the guy and not enough truck.
It's a beautiful piece but all I could think was the guys Mom musta did the video editing...
Certainly, one could have found a less modern diesel engine. Actually, in 1947, gas engines were still common in that sort of truck, so that really broadens the engine options. It's always a disappointment to see modern engines in a classic vehicle.
For the most part, the body work is great. Those running boards look a bit too modern, though. Same for the lights molded into the back. And that rear window opening should have remained its original size.
Inside, those seatbelts are completely unnecessary; those should have been left out. The seats and the center console are way too modern looking, and don't look all that comfortable. I'd be hard pressed to think of a more appropriate vehicle for that quilted diamond sort of interior treatment (which would tie in nicely with those 60's era clearance lights). That was a missed opportunity, and would have gone much better with the vintage theme. The window switches could have been sourced from a midcentury Imperial, Lincoln, Cadillac. Again, to maintain a vintage look, instead of the unattractive "restomod" look.
And, of course, the disproportionately large rims. It needs smaller rims to accommodate taller sidewalls. That would both look and ride better (taller sidewalls = greater shock absorption, which is the entire point of pneumatic tires, that gets mostly defeated by those stupid low profiles)
Overall, the truck looks great, aside from details mentioned. Mostly minor things that majorly distract from a lot of hard and talented work. The thumbnail asks "Is this the best classic truck build?" Well, it could have been. Starting with a Diamond T showed great promise. The talent was clearly there to do it. But, bad decisions were made, and the truck sadly missed the mark. No, it is not the best classic truck build. It's just another forgettable restomod, with trendy details that will look dated in a few years.
I’d prefer to just listen to your story without that fucking music drowning you out!
Awesome truck, worlds worst camera man
You destroyed a beautiful and valuable truck, another hack job.
At least they didn't turn it into a rat rod.
HAHAHA! "Hack job." This guy has jokes.
@@CustomClassics more green than the T you built
toooo! LOW
Love to hear it and see it drive… also how much did this cost??
fucking love it you do great work
