Some knock the Epiphone lap steel. It is by for the best buy on a lap guitar out there. It sounds beautiful with your Fishman amp.

Hi Rakhal, thnx for your nice demo. As a proplayer for guitar and pedalsteel guitar a have also resently purchased this instrument. Compared to all my other guitars the output volume is very poor and the sound is thin. Do you think it's worth to replace the pickup? Which one would do you recommend? Greetings from Switzerland! Some put the Charlie Christian pickup in them. But there are many good six string pickups. The guitar is one of the best buys out there I think. Yes a little thin and under powered. Just crank the amp more?
